On iPhone, it's just unusable. It's stuck on the splash screen, with the "Got it" button mostly below the screen, so it can't be tapped.
On iPad you can technically use it, but try to find a connection path between Terminal 3 and Terminal 5 without going through customs, and all LHRLondonHeathrowAirport tells you is that the location you chose is unreachable.
LHRLondonHeathrowAirport is generally good but looks lacking in two areas.
First, LHRLondonHeathrowAirport doesn’t show the arrival and departure GATES. I am connecting through Heathrow and LHRLondonHeathrowAirport only shows terminal 5. I believe I have to go from a gates to b gates but app flight status doesn’t show it (btw neither does ba). As the connection is short, LHRLondonHeathrowAirport doesn’t help show me where to go.
Second, the interactive terminal map doesn’t work.
Without this functionality, LHRLondonHeathrowAirport has little value other than to show food and shopping.
App is full of incorrect flight information! You other apps for the correct flight gates and times. Show my flight is on-time and were still onboard delayed 2.45 mins app haven’t updated the times and others have the correct time were delayed but the lhr app is still behind.
I had LHRLondonHeathrowAirport previously on my last trip through London Heathrow, but removed it to save data storage. Am about to fly through Heathrow Airport so I downloaded LHRLondonHeathrowAirport from Apple again. Once it is on the phone it will not open at all. I have the latest version for the iPhone so there is no reason LHRLondonHeathrowAirport should not open up. It’s junk, don’t bother downloading it.
I found LHRLondonHeathrowAirport largely useless for the airport. It didn’t show updated flight times or gates, had incorrect information for all wait times, and didn’t reflect changes in areas that were in use in the airport.
Are you expecting to bone up on maps and key locations like your favorite lounge ?
Sorry but don’t do it on your 12 hour flight in bound.
One star for not crashing
One star for having a WiFi speed privilege.
Room for improvement
It’s more like a mall or shopping centre app.
Disappointing and no global search making it hard to find items in the rush that is boarding.
Info navigation is difficult or Great if you give it to your kids to challenge their navigation skills.
Mismatched font sizes makes it harder than it needs to be.
Come on Heathrow ! Pull your socks up
We picked todays breakfast place based on the stale menu on my stale app, and it was still very helpful. With the updated app all you have is the name and the restaurants own description, which isn't helpful.
Quoting parking for short term parking seems to be done by full day (so minimum price is ~£75), while it's widely advertised to be available by the hour. Since LHRLondonHeathrowAirport is really only a thin veneer on their web site, this is also the case if you go to the web site. Docking two stars for contradictory-/mis-information.
First time at Heathrow and navigating the airport was so easy. LHRLondonHeathrowAirport keeps you up to date on your gate, boarding
