WDAM 7 First Alert Weather Reviews

WDAM7FirstAlertWeather is getting worse and worse. One day it said my location was right in the middle of dark green, red, & yellow on the radar screen (meaning it was raining) and it was sunshining big as day at my house. It had not rained all day! And for the past 3 days it has been completely wrong regarding the forecast. Actually WDAM has been wrong about the forecast also. Don’t know where y’all get your info from, but maybe you should get it from a more reliable source! Not worth having WDAM7FirstAlertWeather or watching the weather on TV anymore.

Having quick access to weather info and live feed here in MS during dangerous weather is so appreciated; the WDAM guys are the best! But the delay in loading WDAM7FirstAlertWeather , and waiting thru the ad, when a tornado is overhead is frustrating and can be dangerous! If there is any way to disable the ad when life-threatening weather is imminent, it should be done. WDAM7FirstAlertWeather is becoming less wonky, but this ad thing could make the difference between safety & injury, so WDAM7FirstAlertWeather is still 3/5 for me

Been rough with the tornadic weather today and WDAM7FirstAlertWeather from the WDAM team has done an outstanding job at keeping me well informed of the storms and weather. Thank you guys so much for keeping me covered on the weather.

This is the best app for timely Pine Belt weather info but the absolute worst for stupid ads (Toyota of Hattiesburg and Salvage World). If you like to watch local retailers make a fool of themselves, watch the ads on WDAM7FirstAlertWeather.

Upon opening WDAM7FirstAlertWeather , you’re met with an ad. I understand the necessity of ads since WDAM7FirstAlertWeather is free, but it takes forever for it to go away. It’s an inconvenience on good days, but in the event of severe weather, it’s rather nerve racking!

I understand the ads but at least do away with the huge Carter’s jewelry ad. Make it a banner style and put somewhere else rather than in your face every time you open WDAM7FirstAlertWeather to see the weather.

WDAM7FirstAlertWeather will get someone hurt. You have to view the ad before you can see the current weather and it costs valuable time when stormy weather is near.

Won’t open half the time, especially in bad weather!!!

Downloaded to check on severe weather. Every click came with ads before I could get to the weather. Completely frustrating when you need to know what’s happening fast. Take the ads down. Trash app until they put their viewers safety first.

Great weather forecast

New update will not allow me to open app. I tap on the icon and it closes after a couple of seconds. Has been doing this since the last update. Have turned my phone off a few times to see if it helps and it doesn’t

There is no place to click to get WDAM7FirstAlertWeather . All kinds of info about channel 7 weather. Places to click to get other weather apps but not the WDAM channel 7 weather app.

I use WDAM7FirstAlertWeather often and although it’s not perfect, it is useful. Except for this morning when nothing will load and it keeps asking me to rate it.. So I’m rating it.

WDAM7FirstAlertWeather is useful but it should have the ability to turn off certain weather alerts. If a tornado isn't about to hit me, I do not want to be disturbed.

The weather alerts are too far out that date. When the alert comes on the warning is over. I do not care for Nick’s weather forecast videos.

I turned on alerts for severe weather alerts, not to be bothered with tomorrow’s football forecast.

WDAM7FirstAlertWeather use to be ok , but now..... don't depend on it.

WDAM7FirstAlertWeather literally saved my life yesterday! I went to shop downtown (Hattiesburg) when there was a horrific flash flood. My app and WDAM alerted me to turn around and not drown. If it hadn't been for that alert I would have been swept away and ended up who knows where! I just thank my lucky stars that Nick Ortego and the news seven weather team have our backs. THANK YOU NICK ORTEGO!!!!!!

Just so there's no confusion, this is an app dedicated to weather. We have a separate app for news stories. The news app also has a weather component, but in my opinion this one is much better for tracking weather. Thanks for trusting WDAM to bring you your weather coverage. -Nick Ortego

It keeps you up to date on the weather and gives you an alert message if there are any warnings in your area! Quite a great app!

10/10 would download again.

Hey this is a simple great local weather Application. I do hope it notifies me when there is severe weather coming and I do hope it gives details. This Application for my iphone is great compaired to others.

I would give WDAM7FirstAlertWeather no stars but I can't! I have WDAM7FirstAlertWeather to keep updated on the news but the same stories remain for days even though our local news in TV is filled w/new stories! Deleting WDAM7FirstAlertWeather until someone is serious about managing it and keeping other things besides the weather updated.

Why is it that after the update, every time I open WDAM7FirstAlertWeather it shows me Mississippi? I have to delete it off of my favorites every time I open it. I don't care about Mississippi...

Wish there was a sound option for severe weather alerts.

Please remove the ANNOYING ads taut have taken over WDAM7FirstAlertWeather . Especially that full screen page that loads every time you open WDAM7FirstAlertWeather .
