Why did you have to change the icon on the phone???? With the big 5 on the icon before, it was easily recognizable even in the bright sunshine. Now I have to hunt for a vague blue icon like all the other blue icons. Brilliant idea!

I have a very new phone and keep my apps updated. WMC5FirstAlertWeather is so frustrating! If you go to watch the last news show, most times it will begin at 14 or 21 minutes into the news. It constantly dumps you off or if you are lucky enough to actually get it to play, it will stutter and repeat lines. Total waste of time. Also, if there is an alert about any weather, yes, even sunny, it won’t let you close that alert. You have to click on it to do anything. Which usually makes you have to log out and then back in if you want to look at anything else.

Love the radar feature, and sometimes want to take advantage of the videos about the upcoming forecast. However, lightly, while there has been audio for the advertisements, there is no audio for the actual video forecast. What is up with this??

Keeps saying WMC5FirstAlertWeather in unavailable in my location. I have to refresh a couple and it finally comes up. I’ve been using WMC5FirstAlertWeather for years without any problems. Love WMC5FirstAlertWeather , but must have a bug from the last update.

I have used WMC5FirstAlertWeather forever, and since last update it keeps telling me it’s not available in my area. I didn’t move.... I finally uninstalled.

Keeps you updated especially during severe weather. A must have app for the entire Mid-South!! Highly recommend WMC5FirstAlertWeather for everyone!! Never failed me yet!!

When opening WMC5FirstAlertWeather lately I get a notice that says WMC5FirstAlertWeather isn’t available at my current location. Until now this was the most reliable weather app I’ve ever used. Now I can hardly get it to work. Hope it gets fixed soon.

This is the only app I use for accurate weather reports. And that sounds like an oxymoron but from Memphis to Savannah to Destin it works and is accurate

Since the last update very time you pull up the radar it’s overly cluttered with alerts and warnings. Map is so cluttered you can’t see the rain. You can go to the menu and deselect all the items you don’t want but you have to do that EVERY TIME you want to see the radar. RIDICULOUS !!! I’m in Memphis I don’t care what the tropical alerts are or many of the other alerts! GOTTA FIND A NEW WEATHER APP!!!!

Weather personalities are top notch at WMC5. The high standards of the Dave Brown era continue with Ron Childers and company!! Even though I now live outside television station coverage area, I still use WMC5 Weather app!

Very up to date. My husband and I both use WMC5FirstAlertWeather. We are able to be prepared for every minute of the day. Very informative.

Used to work great, now often has network error when trying to use. Especially does not work when there is bad weather and many people are apparently trying to use it, gives network error. I end up having to use another app for weather.

Our group always checks First Alert before setting up a game!! It never lets us down.

I’m disappointed.

Love WMC5FirstAlertWeather , but don’t like getting notifications every 3 minutes for a thunderstorm especially at 3 AM. I have to turn off notifications to get any sleep

The alerts aren’t accurate. The last few times we’ve had tornado warnings (including now) they’ve only come up as tornado watches. I use WMC5FirstAlertWeather because most of the time I’m not to where I can watch local news but it’s useless if the information isn’t accurate.

Too many ads ! Hard to get around without accidentally touching and activating the ridiculous ad.

Just updated your app on my iPhone and now when I select to open, it opens to normal page and then closes!

In the latest update they have fixed the maps issue where you can now select the map type. The radar is now perfect. You can also set it to get alerts only for your current location. You can also add up to 10 others. WMC5FirstAlertWeather is now perfect in my opinion. Thanks for fixing this. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

The latest updates cause WMC5FirstAlertWeather to not load or load extremely slow. Used to love WMC5FirstAlertWeather now it's crap. I just want an app to open and look at the weather and radar not one to watch the latest video. Keep those in the other app

I have had WMC5FirstAlertWeather for years. I’ve always used the radar to see how a storm was going to move through the area. It no longer works. As soon as I hit the play button all rain disappears. Please fix this or go back to the older version.

WMC5FirstAlertWeather is ok it not very like irritating to me but it could be to other people

Too many advertisements and with first one a full page add for a private school.

Hate that I can only see the radar for past or now, can’t see for future. I will go back to using another weather app.

My app will not open anymore. Crashes after the open screen every time. Please fix!!

Want to delete WMC5FirstAlertWeather

Was a great app for a while. 2 updates ago, it started a pop up box right after opening and loading the current conditions that says "network error - check to see if airplane mode is on or try connecting with WiFi." Weird because it loaded the current info. Airplane mode is not on, cellular data is on, and the message appears whether I am on WiFi or not. Also, I do not want to use Wifi every time I open WMC5FirstAlertWeather (in car, etc.). Since the pop up box blocks the screen and will not go away no matter how many times I hit "retry," I just uninstalled WMC5FirstAlertWeather . Will try some others and try this one again maybe later.

I've had WMC5FirstAlertWeather for quite sometime and I love it!! It's a must have. I've been a Dave Brown fan ever since I was a young girl and he was on Dialing for Dollars and wrestling. I am going to be sad to see him retire. I pray you have a great retirement and God bless you and your family. I would love to have one of the Dave Brown bobble heads!! I think you should offer it to everyone that already has WMC5FirstAlertWeather and also the people that do download WMC5FirstAlertWeather . Thank you again for all the wonderful years!!! You will be missed.

I've use the Action News 5 Weather app for several years and have found it helpful. I really liked the ability to get a quick overview of current conditions and the 10 day forecast. This new update makes all that much less user friendly. The graphics are difficult to read with the low contrast text over a textured background. It might be attractive on a big screen but, on my phone out in daylight, the text is invisible. I'm going to have to check to see if the other local stations still have an app that will give me the easy, quick information I want without the visual clutter.
