NOAA Radar US Reviews

I have many various weather apps as I spend a considerable amount of time out on the big waters of Lake Superior. This is my "go to" radar app when I need to know what's going on with approaching weather. Also, I'm a real estate broker and spend considerable time way back in the woods of the upper peninsula. Whenever I'm heading into the backwoods, I set NOAARadarUS to the satellite image mode for pinpoint accuracy of my location. This is one of my top 5 apps out of more than 100 on my device to choose from!

NOAARadarUS does exactly what it says it will do, and does it better than any other app I've seen. It is easy to use, it provides more types of weather information than most and clearly explains what they are, and the information is always current. My family participates in lots of outdoor activities (horses, hiking, golf, fishing). We are very interested in the weather, and truly appreciate the consistent, clear information presented by NOAARadarUS!!!

Great App,I use it on my boat all the time,Best I have seen. First let me say that the information is right on, I use it for locating sand bars and good bottom for flounder fishing, I also use it for the storms, many of times I would have run back to the ramp if it wasn't for NOAARadarUS , I would def recommend it to any serious fisherman, the details are amazing , Thanks guys for making a great app for the serious fisherman or just the average boat owner, def a 10 out 10 score, Thanks again

I studied to be a pilot and learned to read weather maps which are critical for flying small airplanes. Weather is a show-stopper for small planes. NOAARadarUS from NOAA is very accurate and informative; particularly when tracking weather movements over the previous hour. I no longer fly, but I can precisely predict how much time I have to get home before the downpour hits. Ha. This doesn’t have forecast or other info, but it’s great for anticipating incoming imminent weather.

I check this every time I check the Apple weather app because I want to be able to prepare for the big picture. Since weather is so variable and I work outdoors, it makes more sense to see storm size, strength, and trajectory to make my own preparations. NOAARadarUS provides all the info i need with clear and comprehensible graphics. Love it.

I actually feel guilty that I haven't reviewed NOAARadarUS before considering it is the single best app investment I've ever made. It paid itself off within one hour of purchasing when it helped me decide to leave just in time to NOT die in a terrible storm on the way home from my aunt's house, a three-hour drive away. And then many times over in the months since in similar scenarios. THANK YOU WEATHER APP PEOPLE!

I have been using NOAARadarUS for several years.
And it has never let me down. I can look up whether radar wherever any of my family members are throughout the US. This includes being able to track hurricanes for family members who are down in the southern part of the US. Thank you for such a great app! I only gave it four stars, because I am a believer that an improvement can always be made somewhere.

Update after a year of using frequently: I keep trying to find a better weather radar but the fact is that this is still the simplest fastest most reliable free radar app. No fancy gimmicky bells and whistle‘s. Note the file size on NOAARadarUS only six megs! Also note How NOAARadarUS uses very little cellular data which is very important for anyone on a limited data plan.

NOAARadarUS is hands-down the best weather app I have ever used. Whether it's following the path of an impending storm in my local area or to check on weather in another state with friends and family near, I have been able to rely on NOAARadarUS to provide clear, concise and accurate weather information. The cost was minimal for the accurate information I need.

I went thru numerous radar apps and a few dollars looking for the perfect radar app. I wanted something accurate with clarity to the map and zoom capabilities and THIS IS NOAARadarUS . You don't see all the junk in the sky only the rain clouds and living in Florida it is nice to be able to move away from the rain when you are out in your boat fishing. I do highly recommend NOAARadarUS.

This is my go to app anytime storms are brewing! I live in Texas where big hail and tornadoes seem to happen weekly but most of my family lives in the heart of tornado alley so I use NOAARadarUS a lot! It’s always accurate and seems up to the minute. I love that it shows “warned” areas, what the warning is and when it expires. Helps me keep up with what’s going on around me and family in other states.

On the golf course, where it’s sometimes critical to know if that rainstorm is going to pass anytime soon, my foursome has learned to put their phones away and trust my NOAA Radar - it’s simply more accurate than the others and it’s graphically better as well. Plus, I’d shrink the screen you can see where rain is anywhere in the country which is kind of cool.

Works very well and the up grades have been good' I'll go with what is pre-wrote but I and some of the motorcycle fellow's that depend on my direct weather updates to were a storm is and how far it is behind or in front of us is right to the minute and second and NOAARadarUS is right on..we as a group depend on it for safe rides.. Thanks and keep up the great work up ( IT ) people...

With a tap of my finger I am able to see the weather in my locality and further through the United States. Color coding of weather conditions makes conditions easy to read. Have used NOAARadarUS for years and it has not disappointed! Highly recommend!

I use NOAARadarUS daily and absolutely love it. I've found it to be extremely accurate, so much that I can use it to decide when to put the top up on the car. This week while my colleagues were searching for the most recent radar image of the hurricane, all I had to do was pull up NOAARadarUS!

Your last update seems to have removed the locations that I had saved so I could quickly go to those to check and it seems that you removed the ability to save locations at all. I travel a lot and I liked the ability to quickly see the radar at home and also check the locations where my children live. I don’t like your app so much now that this feature is gone.

I use this a number of times a day if we have showers in the area. It is extremely handy. I also have it on my iPad now. I love being able to easily look at a small area to see shower details and then effortlessly to see a multi-state area to get the big picture of storm movement.

I use this radar app nearly daily to track inbound rain and/or storms. It’s important to see where my location is related to the storm system coverage. It’s always good when you find yourself on the edge of some heavy weather. Tried other apps but I always rely on this one for my visual reports.

I use NOAARadarUS every day and would be lost weather wise without it! It shows exactly where the weather is in my area, what the weather is like and helps me to even know when to take my dog out between the rain drops. Can’t live without it. I like it’s simplicity and accuracy. Would recommend NOAARadarUS!!!!!

I love NOAARadarUS and use it just about everyday. In today’s world of exaggerated news including the weather , all I want to do is see the real situation with the information presented without the hype! Put simply , you see the weather in real time without commentary. I analyze what is important to me. What’s not to like?

Excellent app! Accurate and up-to-the-minute timeliness. I rely on NOAARadarUS for outdoor planning. Great if you are a gardener or farmer. Keeps me one step ahead of storms and I can plan for watering.
I have relied on NOAARadarUS for years and it has only gotten better: more detailed and precise.
The ability to set different radar views is helpful in determining what is actually going to happen locally.
