Although the description say it will read a lightning USB drive and play MKV file, the application will do neither. Don’t get deceived. If this is what you want, this is not USBDiskPro for you.

This was a waste. In spite of its name, it will not see or access any usb drive. And although my iPad IS seen by iTunes, there’s no “apps” icon or button anywhere. In short, USBDiskPro doesn’t do a single thing. Well, except take money. It does that.

n’t open full screen

I loved USBDiskPro so much. I was looking at all the other apps and even though this one was a bit more money when I bought it, I liked the features so I spent a little bit extra.

I haven't used USBDiskPro in forever and when I opened it for the first time in a couple of months, I noticed something about the new update that bugged me.

When I pressed the full screen button at the top left of the screen, normally the page opened so that is was covering the full screen. Now I press that button and all I get is a full page, not full screen and a useless gray area on the sides.

Then if I want it on the full screen I have to resize it, but then I can only look at one page at time and overall, it's just a hassle. I would really like it if you changed it back or, if some people wanted it that way, make it a setting, full screen or full page.

Anyways, with that being said, all of the other features of USBDiskPro are great. Nice app.

Unfortunately you can only recover your local files by recovering the device full backup. This doesn't always work because sometimes the IOS is buggy and the fix is to start with a fresh IOS. When you reinstall USBDiskPro your files are gone.

I've used USBDiskPro for years and it's been well but for the last few months, I've noticed all my documents are blurry until I resize them or change the screen orientation. I notice the blur mainly with text on images. It's a small issue but a noticeable one.

With the last two updates there have been problems, two updates ago you could protect folders but it did not matter what 4 digit pin you typed in to open it. Now that this problem has been rectified with the last update you can no longer play videos full screen via Apple AirPlay. It all used to work... Once AirPlay is fixed I'll give it a 5.

Overall this is a good app to view and annotate PDF files. The only reason I wouldn't give it more stars is that some functionality that was very important to me was lost in the latest update.

I know it may not be important to others, but to me, it was one of the final factors that made me decide to go with USBDisk. When in landscape view mode when you went to full screen mode USBDiskPro previously displayed the document at full width. Now it displays full page and my docs are then too small to read. Then I have to spend time trying to re-size the view.

It would be very helpful to have a setting that would allow docs to be opened at full page width every time, if the user prefers.

Thanks for a good app, but please, please add the requested functionality. . . And soon!

I bought USBDiskPro to sort out my pdf files in a way that iBooks wouldn't do. It works very well in that I can put folders inside of folders. The only thing that I have noticed is that it doen't open up my large .pdf files very well. It closes the application on me, probably a memory error of some sort. Overall, a good application if the .pdf files are less than 10 pages.

I do not have a lot of experience with the iPad, I am a PC person but have found USBDiskPro to be ideal to store and work with certain business documents, such as Spread Sheets that I might need in a meeting, where I take the iPad as a notebook, rather than a PC.

Less cumbersome to go around with the iPad, than a Lap Top.

USBDiskPro has some features that I do not find in other file Management apps. While most apps unzip zipped files before looking at them, USBDiskPro can view the file in their zipped format. It can play back zipped Audio Files. While other file managers have to download cloud files to view . USBDiskPro can view them in their cloud location!

I am locked out of my stored content, without going back and doing some backups and restores, which I am not able to do where I am. I will be looking for another app to do the storage on MY DEVICE, without locking me out!

USBDiskPro works very well to be able to transfer files between your IPad and laptop\desktop. The other thing that is awesome about it is that you are able to create folders and seperate your items.

I use mostly MS Office formats and PDFs. Have not had ANY problems to date opening, reading, or editing. I actually have Dropbox which is great but I can't always rely on wi-fi access. This does not require that. Also have Evernote but I find it useful to collect themed stories more so than documents. Wi-fi there too. Challenge.

I love USBDiskPro and use it often. I recently had a problem and the support team responded quickly and persisted until the problem was identified. They offered a good solution until the issue can be resolved in a future update. This is what app support should be like!!

This is my fall back app when I need to get data to and from my devices. Over the years more access has been added such as google drive, sftp and others. Even if you purchase it an let it sit for months, the onetime that you absolutely need - you will realize that it is worth the price.

This is a great app that allows the transfer of docs without an internet connection (files can be transferred over a ad-hoc wi-fi network). It supports the file types that I usually use and haven't had it crash even once. The only thing that I wish it would do that it doesn't is integrate with iWorks files directly. It would be nice to be able to wirelessly transfer newly created iWork files to another person's laptop without a internet connection.

A wonderful way to preserve and export data.

iBooks doesn't like loading .pdf's or books after 1,009 or so. This application let's me save the .pdf's until Apple fixes iBooks.
