Fails at many levels

With latest iOS upgrade it stopped working (doesn’t search beyond 3 letters) and they haven’t offered an upgrade to repair it yet. It’s been almost a month.
Limits number of “wild” [space bar] to 2, which makes sense for Words with Friends, but doesn’t help with crosswords or other times I want to look up a word and have more than two letters that are unknown.
Doesn’t always have a definition for the word it supplies. If it knows it’s a valid word, how can it not know the definition?

Too much inconsistency in acceptable words

I enjoy being actively involved building my vocabu I think the accepted words should coordinate w Scrabble’s. There is a definite preponderance of Muslim religious reference. I think only the words acceptable for Scrabble should be allowed. Too many inconsistencies with proper nouns and names, Latin & other abbreviations, computer lingo (BRB, etc.), foreign words—especially regarding some religions.

Very helpful tool

This dictionary contains almost all of the words recognized by WWFs. I use it to answer questions I have about words like, “Do any words begin with, contain or end with , ‘’?”, but I don’t look at the wordlist. If I see a word, then I can’t play it. I wish it had an option to show the number of words found instead of the list of words. After I I’ve chosen a word, I sometimes use this to find what would have been the best word to satisfy my curiosity. It can be used to ensure every word played is the best possible word, but then it is really this tool playing and winning the game.

Need Help

Word Lookup Pro has been a great app, but today started doing all letters in caps on iPhone and iPad so I know it is app problem. I have tried to toggle caps on and off but will only do lower for one letter at a time before returning to Caps. Have turned iphone on and off and deleted and reloaded app. Nothing works. Was there an update today that may have changed things?

Word search.

I use WordLookupPro to gain points understanding of words and expanding my word vocabulary. I love it. Really love it. I may think I have the best fit for a word until I do look up. 90% of the time the look up is better. I do as well as I do because of look up. Great part of the game. Thank you.

Easiest to use!

Many other anagram apps are just as useful -but WordLookupPro has a few other bells and whistles that are simple to use! A must have to give you a little nudge if you get brain freeze during a game.

Really great app !

I love WordLookupPro. It’s easy to use and never crashes. I only gave it four stars and not five because nothing’s perfect but WordLookupPro comes really close. If you’re a scrabble or words with friends player it’s a must. Highly recommend it.

Great tool, enjoy using, worth buying

Well done, to the designers! I definitely recommend this reasonably-priced purchase to interested others. The user-friendly Pro version of WordLookupPro is indispensable. The ability to input additional letters makes all the difference.

Just Buy It

Admit it, we all want free apps. But the free anagram finder apps for Words With Friends are mostly stinky, and the ads are incredibly annoying. WordLookupPro is not only ad free, but it's really helpful and easy to use. I like the lists of 2- and 3-letter words also. Really, just buy WordLookupPro, you'll be glad you did.

Not accurate

So many of the words listed in the “dictionary” are not acceptable in Words With Friends. Try using them and they say “not a valid word”. Yet they have tons of their very own “valid words with friends word”. I dare u to print this “. So who’s wrong you or words with friends

WORDS Dictionary Stinks 🤨

Often used words are not in your dictionary. Words that aren’t really words are accepted. The dictionary in Words is so frustrating and irritating and confusing. I would love to have a place in WORDS to suggest words to be added to the dictionary. I am currently playing WORDS with three others and we all feel the same about the dictionary. We are all realizing words that are usually capitalized are sometimes accepted in Words, others are not - weird. All three of us are also Scrabble players where no Capital Words are accepted. Anything you can do to improve the dictionary will be appreciated 😊 Other then my complaints, I love playing WORDS

Saved me!

In WWF, I like to see what the best I can come up with, then I check word strength & try to see if I can figure out what the best I could have done would have been (though I'll still eventually submit my original best). But when I can't figure that out (especially when I can't even come close), it kills me. That's where WordLookupPro comes to the rescue! I also find the word lists super helpful.

Plus, WordLookupPro is great for when you have a word on the tip of your tongue & only remember how it starts or ends or a piece of it because of how you can search with the wilds!

I love it, helps me challenge myself

I dont know any other app? So it gets a five star because of it. But i like that i can quickly see if their were any others letters added to my main word, to add points. It’d be nice if it had a way to put, does the word ending in guest have any other words to it?

So handy!

I use WordLookupPro to check the spelling and meaning of words, daily; and to expand my vocabulary. My brother uses it for crosswords and scrabble. The best thing is it works even when you aren’t on the internet - so if I’m on a plane, reading a book, and a word comes up that I am unsure of - I just pop into WordLookupPro and look it up!

Love this app!!!!

I use this with words with friends not to cheat as I always tell new opponents to try WordLookupPro. For me, playing the game allows me to learn new words, not just stay at my level of word knowledge and WordLookupPro does this so well. Never ever had an issue with it. If your a word lover get the bargain paid version, it will up your game and you won’t be disappointed!

Worst app ever

WordLookupPro had served it's purpose for. About 6 mos when it started to go a bit haywire. It kept giving me definitions in every language except what I paid for ENGLISH. I wrote for help and like all ten useless apps no one except a computer generated reply gets back to you. And on this one not even a generated reply was sent. Worst app for assistance. Fix the issue or delete yourself. Can not understand why people pay for apps and get no help. DONT BOTHER TO BUY THE FREE VERSION WAS BETTER.

Problems on iOS that I can’t fix

Great app, nice features, please make it more up to date with the WWF dictionary.

1. With the latest update, very often the screen shifts to the left so that about half of each word is visible. The only way out is to close WordLookupPro down and restart it. I tried reinstalling WordLookupPro and rebooting the iPad — no help.

2. On the iPad, there is no Settings option to switch to lower case.

So many ways to use this!

Love the things you can do with this. Use your imagination.. I’ve been using this for years, and the only thing I’d like is a few more words in the anagram finder. In the game, Whirly Word, for instance, they have more words than I can come up with many times. But it is a great way to learn. Also, I can only try for so long without getting too flustered. Even have friends help try. There used to be another app that did anagrams better. It quit.

New release is a step backwards.

Previously when you looked up the definition of a word there was a link to the base form of the word. Now you have to perform a search for the new word sometimes going through multiple searches before you get to the definition.

I used the old feature a lot to learn new words. The new version is very inconvenient and time consuming in comparison to the older version.

Most versatile word search

WordLookupPro has saved me frustration (and even money, shh!) on word games. But what I really value is I can instantly get a definition just by touching the word. I also like being able to change the sorting order of the anagrams by points or length. I love WordLookupPro for its simplicity and versatility, and highly recommend it!!

Awesome App! When I’m all out of words and need just that one, I check the words app and whala! That one word pops up! Love love this app!” - Happyasalark, 2019.
