My app shows no words on the read myself option. I’ve reinstalled StoryMouse but it hasn’t helped. Very disappointing.

I started with StoryMouse with little confidence, having previewed or purchased several storybooks or storybook apps. To my delight, StoryMouse came with a free story that captured the imagination of my child and, if I'm being honest; me! The free story was so loved by my daughter we purchased another, then another, each time our expectations were met in excess.

We love the dialect of the readers; so much so that my daughter insists Samson (Bible story) speaks with the same dialect... so I try. Much of the allure for us is the imagery. Where other apps fail is with too much animation or interaction. The images in the Story Mouse books are enough to leave the storytelling up to the listeners' imagination, where it should be, and enough extra sounds and reading style for an inexperienced reader to learn to read it with style 'on your own'.

We don't have them all, but we are enjoying StoryMouse and its stories very much!

Read to me or read myself control nice. Page turning sound when turn pages manually. Several tales to choose between. Illustrations very nice.

On my wish list for future books is something geared toward teenage readers, so those with special challenges have age appropriate choices. I know you are geared to younger readers, but I said this was my wish list:)

My daughter loves these smart, well-illustrated, hilarious stories. The only problem is that while my husband and I can share StoryMouse across our two machines, we cannot share the stories we have bought within StoryMouse . It's a bit like buying a book that you are only allowed to read in your living room. Please fix this! We would like to buy more books, but it is too costly to buy each book twice. I also get the sense that the books themselves are not backed up in iTunes, and that if I ever had to replace my iPad, they would be gone. Please fix if at all possible!

I this today and downloaded it immediately. Tonight we started with the 3 Billy Groats Gruff (the free story) and let StoryMouse read the story to us. HUGE hit. They loved the English guy who read it and before I knew it I had purchased Jack and the Beanstalk and Goldilocks and the 3 Bears. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 is because it only has about 7 - 8 stories and the illustrations could be more. But that's ok. Hopefully they will add more stories. Love it!

Good choice of classic and other fun stories read very well (enthusiastic renditions) with fun illustrations, words read get highlighted, child flips pages when ready, but note: readers have British accents and use some British slang that may be unfamiliar. Sometimes the books have a slight departure from the commonly heard versions which keeps it more interesting. We love these books!

My son loves his new iPad, especially now that it has a few of his favorite stories on there that can be read to him or he can read himself. He is seven years old and totally loves StoryMouse. Great job!
Wish the price of the stories were a bit cheaper, but by far this is the best app in this category I could find.

Recently had a problem with StoryMouse before update. After much back and forth, to which the company responded every time, the problem was resolved. This is a comapny that takes customer satisfaction as a serious matter of pride. I can't wait to see what other apps they come out with. They have a customer for life in our family.

My son loves StoryMouse and when things started going haywire the folks at Story Mouse stepped right up. They were very (VERY) responsive to my inquiries and were quick to follow up with news about my issue. Ultimately, everything was resolved successfully. All customer service should be this great. Great product, great service, needless to say, we are customers for life!

StoryMouse is great! The options are clearand easy to use. The voices are pleasant, highly intelligible, and soothing. The selection of books is very wide. I particularly enjoyed Bertie the Guinea Pig, and also the story about the First Dog on the Moon. Way to go! This might prove to be ideal for any challenging enterprise with your little tots, like a family trip, or a visit to the hairdresser or a doctor.

We have our grandchildren staying here all the time. They are 2 and 4 and need something going on every minute. With rules from the parents-no tv, this is perfect. The kids sit and listen for long periods of time or we can red to them. This is fabulous, I wish there were more apps. like it!

Love, love, love StoryMouse. My youngest son (3) enjoys the read to me feature and being able to " read" along with the highlighting. My older son (5) enjoys practicing reading on his own. I enjoy that they are learning, quiet, and happy when using StoryMouse. It is great for travel. I can't say enough about StoryMouse!

I thought that my son had out grown these stories at the age of 6. we just bought an IPad. The Story Home was the first app that he opened to reread all of his favorite stories over again. And the eves dropping grownups had a good laugh too.

StoryMouse is great. It's nice to have help in reading stories to help young children fall asleep. However, there is a problem with The Enormous Turnip. Half of the pictures do not fill the page and several pages are missing. The pictures are tiny. Please check it out.
