I was excited to use my free Trial. Read a book I had been dying to read for quite some time. It wouldn’t let me stop the subscription to renew after the month without stopping my free trial so I left it alone. I finished the book I wanted to read and didn’t use BookmateListenreadbooks much after that. Forgot to cancel the renewal since I hadn’t been in it, which I stated to them, and when I messaged them the SAME day that it renewed, they denied me a refund since “their rules don’t allow it.” No where in their FAQs does it say anything like that at all or anywhere else that I could see. I won’t recommend BookmateListenreadbooks to anyone. Might as well just go buy the books if you’re going to get charged $10 every month and their “customer service” isn’t very customer oriented. Make sure you cancel in time otherwise they won’t do jack to help you out.

Was reading book that I downloaded myself (not from the library)and suddenly got a message that I need to buy a premium to read this book. I actually have premium, so I check and it’s expired, but standard was still in place. Went back thinking that that I could read on, the book that I downloaded myself?!
No they prompt me to buy premium. I got premium and canceled standard. Guess what - was billed for both standard and premium.
Just opened case for refund for standard.

Why I have standard and premium? Because years ago I got standard and then upgraded to premium for 4.99, had actually two items on my bill, but this year I don’t know what happened???

First, it is actually impressive how Bookmate managed to have such a poor UX and app layout, when there are so many great UX designers out there! Looks like they’re competing for ‘the worst design’ prize, and successfully so. BookmateListenreadbooks is hard to navigate, creating bookmarks is a nightmare, mails to support from BookmateListenreadbooks just wont work etc. etc.

Second, I have a paid full premium subscription, but can’t open any books anymore. Looks like there is a disconnect between my payment and my account. After digging through (unhelpful) FAQ, reinstalling and all sort of bending backwards to make it work, I am now sitting pretty and waiting for support to help me out.... Paid days are ticking, service not provided.

BookmateListenreadbooks is a scam. It’s malicious, and it’s sketchy as heck. When I signed up for the free trial, (DO NOT DO) it wouldn’t let me turn it off, but rather kept giving me different payment options. The only way I was able to get the subscription off was to delete BookmateListenreadbooks and come back in. It’s scary, it’s not right. And the downloading of books always comes with viruses. I don’t recommend using BookmateListenreadbooks, something isn’t safe about it.

I thought this was free. I saw that there was a “premium” app but I did not sign up for that. It’s only when you download BookmateListenreadbooks to see what the book selections Are like and how BookmateListenreadbooks works, do you find out that they are going to charge you $9.99 a month. Ridiculous. Immediately I decided to cancel BookmateListenreadbooks. I copied their directions on how to cancel. I could not do this on my I Phone but I will not rest until this scam is canceled.
Sorry for the 1star. It really should be zero stars.
AND - guess what. They tell you to enter a name for the review and whatever you try to enter for a name, they tell you it’s already taken. I just went in and gave a word, not a name and that’s taken.

I’ve been looking for an option that is Netflix for books for a long time and thought this might be the one.. this is not it. Every single book or audio book I’ve tried to access has been marked “this book is unavailable at the moment” with further clarification that “our contract with the copyright owner has expired”. The majority of their best seller section is unavailable. Their book of the week is unavailable. Most of the landing page that they choose to offer up as available option are unavailable..

I LOVE IT I LOVE IT I LOVE IT!!! This is the best app ever!!! You NEED to get BookmateListenreadbooks! I mean, if you read. The ONLY, onlyyy only problem with BookmateListenreadbooks is that, it, sadly doesn’t show the page number, BUT! BookmateListenreadbooks has like EVERY book in the world! I love BookmateListenreadbooks! 😍 When ever my daughter gives that excuse, “Mom I forgot my book!” I give her that look and hold up my phone 😂 But she really likes BookmateListenreadbooks too and I TOTALLY encourage you to GET. THIS. APP.

After my complain about the 7.2 version, customer service replied immediately and they released two more updates in a matter of 3 days. BookmateListenreadbooks is now working swiftly and I am a happy reader once again. I love BookMate because I can find books in different languages and I can also upload my own.

The fact that you let users upload there own books is amazing. But you’re not giving us the option to choose the publishers default fonts and alignment. The way the book is intended. You only give us left alignment and justified? Also where is the default font? My requests are pretty simple really. I love BookmateListenreadbooks so hope you would consider this in the future updates.

I absolutely love listening to audiobooks no matter where I go but unfortunately there is not too many choices. Would love to have more Classics preferably in English and from the Russian works as well. But whatever I was able to find was absolutely great!

I’m so pleased to have discovered Bookmate. I’m retired, a widow, and read almost constantly. Without Bookmate I’d either be in the poorhouse or desperate for something new to read. The number and variety of available titles is impressive. I simply love it!

I have had BookmateListenreadbooks for a week and a half and already I have read more than it would cost me for three months payments. If you read more than one book a month, it pays for itself! Thanks!

Love BookmateListenreadbooks , especially because I can read in my native language as well, including classics literature. I also love that I can read offline. It’s only $10 a month and you can use audio books as well.

There’s a lot of books available on here. You can even read in different languages, if you want!

Really enjoying this service. Huge amount of available books by the modest price.

Why does it have to cost money? Like seriously, you can charge us after like a year or so because you have a lot of people on BookmateListenreadbooks, so you would kind of receive more money, because it would charge someone every year. Hope you take my advice seriously, or at least lower the price. Some people can’t afford 9.99 a month. It’s just not fair. Can you at least make it 3.99 or so? Thank you,

There are so books I've been wanting to read that I found in BookmateListenreadbooks. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone who loves to read. I actually really like that it has a social aspect to it. :)

I used to use Bookmate for several years, but cancelling my subscription now. The reason is the number of books available dropped drastically. I don’t know what the reason is. Probably they want to burst audiobooks subscriptions, at least for many books I want to read, they suggest an audio edition. You waste your money on subscription if you want to read.

Great southern tone, a little romance, a little mystery, a little crime, and it was all well put together and I DEFINITELY recommend reading it. Something for everyone in this one.

I love it so much, I wish there were more books added on here but the ones already in BookmateListenreadbooks are great I recommend to everyone. Also add more audiobooks as well

Is there a way to sync books on another device?
