Can not stream in mobile safari anymore (play in background)... If I close 1033TheEdge to do something else it cuts off after 1 min... Missing the previous version even though I could not listen and use the web but it worked without imteruption

Couldn't possibly say it any better than CatieLew. The most infuriating thing about 1033TheEdge is that it goes to ad break and never comes back. The alternative is the podcast but a lot of the show is chopped out of it.

I get it you need to make money off 1033TheEdge , but come on... you miss a good chunk of the actual show due to so many ads. When you start 1033TheEdge up there’s always a 30 sec ad for some game. Then another 10 minutes of ads. Sometimes I pause 1033TheEdge then hit play and it goes to live radio, but that rarely works. I think they need to reduce the ads in half to make 1033TheEdge better.

Update: Still no update, and still having to delete and reinstall almost every time I open 1033TheEdge . Come on, seriously?!

I love The Edge, I REALLY do, but 1033TheEdge is pathetic. I've had to delete-redownload 1033TheEdge several times now just to hear anything. And what's this no music in the background business?? I have to open a browser for that?! Ridiculous. Please give us a better app!

Although I love the radio station 1033TheEdge blows!! There needs to be a patch or something to fix the fact that no part of 1033TheEdge works besides being able to listen to the radio for 5 min

I *attempt* to listen to S&R every morning. Have been for almost 20 years now. Love them. Anyways, 1033TheEdge is the most horrible app I’ve ever dealt with. It will work for 2 minutes. Then stop. Then I hit play. Oh yay I have to listen to a commercial again!? It works for 5 minutes and then the entire app closes out. And I have to go find it in my phone and restart it again. This happened a anywhere from 5-15 times depending on my patience that morning. UGHHHH. If I could give 1033TheEdge 0 I would. So frustrating when you’re trying to get ready in the morning. Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee fixxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.

I love the Edge, let's just get that out of the way, but 1033TheEdge is absolute garbage. It stops streaming constantly and when it finally gets up and running I'm subjected to the Geico or Ninja Coffee commercial every time before the station actually starts streaming. The ad breaks are infuriating. I understand that there needs to be commercials, I get that, but does 1033TheEdge need to play the same podcast snippets and the same 4 songs in the commercials every day? The ad for the Edge app is funny, but 1033TheEdge itself is really just disappointing.

I like 1033TheEdge because it is more clear than a radio but it just stops working several times each morning when I am listening to Shred and Reagan. It’s really annoying. It’s like a dropped call.

App stops working a lot. Open app and begin playing and within few minutes have to reopen rewatch the ad click skip to begin listening. Lately commercials when starting up are long and annoying. I only have 1033TheEdge to listen to the shredd and ragan show in the mornings and it's annoying with the constant crashing.

Sound quality is horrible unless you stream through safari

I used to love 1033TheEdge. Hopefully they'll update it soon. I miss my Edge. :(

The music is Amazing. If only it was on more than 5 minutes a day >.>

1033TheEdge is awesome! I love how the lyrics show up with the song being played and how I can search to see what songs have been played lately. Great app!

Not the same without Opie and Anthony in the mornings. Other than that it's a great station.

Love that I can take the edge anywhere with me now. Keep up the awesome rock my friends

Don't believe the negative reviews, it's exactly like the station, it's just slightly behind the radio but is great

Whew love 1033TheEdge ! Didn't work once I upgraded to IOS5 but reinstalled 1033TheEdge and its working again! Hopefully no more problems

Plays the station I love which is all I need from it. And a lot of people were complaining about the ads but I have yet to encounter any outside of the normal radio ads.

Great app, super fun! Best station in Buffalo, now I can listen literally anywhere!
