Mass Times for Travel Reviews

Thank you so much for making MassTimes!!! I use it not only when I travel but also every day. I have decided now that my kids are grown up, I will have time to go to church on weekdays as well... well, I have just MassTimes for that! It tells me which church offers weekday masses!
My only complaint is the phone number on each church, every time I click on a church to check out their mass times, I always seem to click the phone number instead!!! So maybe if someone can change it so that the phone number link to call will be only shown after you click for the church's more info?

Great app to find all the available Mass’ near you. Can’t make the Mass you usually attend at your home parish? MassTimes will show you what’s around and available. Going somewhere on vacation? Just type in the city and state and hit search. You’ll know what’s available in that area. The times are almost 100% accurate for weekends and probably 95% accurate for weekdays. I always suggest you click the link for the parish website just to make sure.

This is a great tool for all Catholics, especially those who travel. However I highly recommend confirming the Mass times on the church’s website. MassTimes said the parish I was going to attend said the first Sunday Mass was at 7:30am but their website said 8:00am.

What an asset to have on my phone. I can stress how easy MassTimes makes it to not only try fitting in daily Mass but to go to daily Mass at all no matter where I am in the country. I've gone to Mass successfully when on vacation due to MassTimes. It simply to use, shows you the churches in your vicinity, and allows you to narrow the mass times by day. Two thumbs way up!!👍👍

Great App for when you need to find an open church ASAP. Instead of manually going on google and searching, you get a list. Some of the Mass times are not too accurate. But if you don’t mind double checking on the Churches’ website, you’ll be fine. The whole point is to get a list to choose from. Even better, they also include times Confessions are conducted. And Languages offered

I LOVE MassTimes! I recently changed jobs and have received the blessing of being able to attend daily mass. My work hours vary slightly, so I can quickly see when and where the next convenient mass is.
As a bonus, I’ve been to SO many beautiful churches that I’ve never been to before. My goal now is to go to mass in every church (30+) in Green Bay. Then maybe I’ll tackle the GB Diocese!

The first two times using this app helped me find the exact masses at the best times in an area we were going but had not been to before. Very intuitive to use.
Using the filters allows one to find a mass on the day and at the time when one can attend.
Great App.

It is great to have MassTimes /website, but it is so old that makes it annoying and frustrating to use.
A feature that I dislike is that upon exiting a parish you select on the map the map will recenter on your location.
The screen doesn't even fit with the expanded screens...so there is a large blacked out area on the top and bottom of the screen.

MassTimes is a staple for my travel. I usually drive by the church to verify the time because once a Saturday evening mass was cancelled for a festival and on one occasion the remote church had closed and referred us 20 miles up the road. MassTimes helped us tremendously as hotel staff have no idea where the local Catholic Church is. Your app is dependable and so appreciated.

I've used MassTimes while traveling to find both mass and confession times. I use it at home as well, from time to time. I love that you can filter for different sacraments and days. The layout is so easy to understand and provides so much information.

This is such an easy app! Thank you. Maybe a bookmark tool would be useful too. I visit some friends often and it'd be great to be able to bookmark churches you've been to in the area so you can go again next time you're there. Thanks for creating this!

My wife and I used to use MassTimes, and the corresponding website, pretty much weekly to ensure that we could find a mass to attend despite the insanity of the kids schedules. Recently however both stopped functioning which is a shame as I can find no similar replacement for it. Hoping the developers will revisit their support of this as it served a real purpose which cannot be said of many apps that clog up folks phones these days.

I relied on MassTimes to find a Parish that does Wednesday confessions and left school early and drove almost half an hour only to find that it had false information and I couldn’t make a confession when I am in dire need of it. I’m disappointed:( but I wouldn’t not get it if I were you, just double check on the Church website. It is still iffy though because a lot of times Parish websites can be incorrect as well.

Love MassTimes. However it stopped working recently. Tells me that location services isn’t enabled. I checked settings and MassTimes has location enabled when using MassTimes . There isn’t an option for “Always.” Hope this can be fixed soon.

I have been using this for years so I thought I’d finally rate it. MassTimes does the job; it:
* accesses data/addresses of churches in a given area.
* Information is formatted so you can search for Mass, confessions, and adoration or other devotions.
* Copy/pastes church addresses easily into a maps app.
* Sorts by time and location according to your needs.
* I use it constantly when I’m traveling and I’m not tech savvy, so you know this will work for just about anyone. :)

Super convenient and easy to use, not just for travel but everyday. I love the filters that allow you to pick a specific day, mass, confession, adoration, etc. No more hunting through random parishes' online bulletins just to find a confession time that works.

Love MassTimes! It lets you filter by day and by service type (ie. Mass, confession, etc.). So far it has been very accurate, though to double check on the parish website is super easy because they give you the link right there!

MassTimes works wonderfully. It quickly loads a list of parishes and mass times by location. You can also view them on a map. It is easy to see mass details by clicking on the parish.

As a daily mass goer,my only complaint is,
having gone to mass in several states,I only wish we were able to have a “save our favorite “
options on MassTimes .

MassTimes has so much potential but it is extremely common that the mass times are incorrect/outdated. It is incredibly frustrating to show up to find out there isn’t in fact mass. Cross checking to Google completely defeats the convenience of MassTimes and I may as while start with Google in the first place. Potential solution is to let users submit updates similar to gas buddy.

I appreciate developers bringing MassTimes to market. It’s a solid app with a clean user interface. Areas of opportunity for future improvement include adding functionality that differentiates MassTimes from the website. Examples may include MassTimes allowing the user to store a list of favorite church locations so they don’t need to be re-queried every time. Without differentiations such as these one may just simply set a Safari favorite to the website itself.

Wonderful app. Been using the website and app for many many years. Never fails to direct us to the Catholic parishes in the area and provide the correct mass times and languages. Makes traveling to new destinations a breeze!

I was helping my mother with getting good apps for her new cell phone (an old iPhone) and was looking for Mass Times apps. I found this and I decided to install this one and donated $ — just to see it never removes the donate button.... her phone is small and she really needs all of her screen. Come on, at least an option!
