After deciding my iMac was beyond Tiger, set up became easier. In fact, I made it harder than it really was. The trickiest part was, once I was sure my settings were correct, was to figure out how to get ConnectDesktop to "run". Finally double clicked on the name of the computer in the name bar at the top of the gray screen. Suddenly my computer's desktop appeared! Cheaper than a similar app, does exactly what I wanted it to do. It would be good if all the apps had some sort of trial period, so you can at least know if the darn thing works! It could self-destruct in a few days for all I care, just want to know if I buy it, it will function!

This is a good app for remotely connecting into different Mac computers. The set-up is still a little confusing. It just takes spending some time with the cryptic instructions. The biggest complaint I have is adding a password to log into the actual connection asks multiple times for the password. I should only have to enter the password once, not multiple times.

Worked great until I upgraded to Lion. Now I can't get past the login screen.

Installation wasnt too hard, but harder than it needs to be. Do no recomend this. the lag is annoying on the screen, if it worked over 3G, it would be excellent, but for being wifi based, it doesnt cut it. I suggest mobile air mouse, its much better for this, it just requires you to look at the screen. Waste of money. wish apple provided a short trial period of ever app, to avoid people wasting five dollars on an app that they delete in 2 minutes.

In the latest update when using the shift key once it acts like the caps key and stays capitalized until shift is hit again. It used to be like other apps where it only capitalizes the first letter then goes back to normal. This took me a while to figure out why entering my passwords do not work. Please fix this along with the menus going off the screen.

This is the only VNC app you need to try. The latest version makes it SO EASY to click and drag Finder windows (and resize them) on remote Macs. The modifier keypad and the functional keypad make keyboard shortcuts a snap. Thanks for a great app!

Works well and comes with clear instructions, the screen update rate is a little slow but that's common in VNC programs.

One thing I liked was that it wasn't to hard to set up. Just follow the direction. There is a slight lag between iPad to the computer,but otherwise very happy with it.

I've use this to connect to an XP machine(with UltraVNC), and a Win7 64bit machine(with RealVNC). Easy to use an effective - ConnectDesktop cannot be beat for what it does and the price.

Does what it's suppose to do. And does it perfectly. I like controlling my computer from bed.

You'll find it difficult to do anything with how slow the screen updates and the mouse clicking is really clumsy. Interface and features are all there it's just not responsive enough to be effective.

I'm very happy with the simplicity of ConnectDesktop. Thank you to the developers.

Easy setup for in network connection. Could use a better icon and interface.

I am an IT consultant and ConnectDesktop is invaluable to me. I can remotely manage my clients server without disrupting their business. Great tool.

Crashes constantly, in the few seconds it doesn't crash ConnectDesktop just doesn't feel nice to use. Go with iteleport, a much nicer app.

Application is buggy and you will not receive a response from support so don't bother buy something else for your Remote needs....

I am deleting ConnectDesktop, it simply does not work. I work in IT and I know garbage when I seem it. Please do not waste your money like I did. Buy a different app.

This Application works great!. Very useful and easy to install.
