Mortgage Calculator from MK Reviews

I tried MortgageCalculatorfromMK before refinancing my home mortgage and this mortgage calculator worked. It gives me some hints on what to do with my finances. Since I am satisfied with it I shared it with my friend who also needs to calculate her loans and other credits. This is an excellent app.

I’ve had MortgageCalculatorfromMK for years and I think it’s overall the best out there. It’s simple to use and it’s free. The only drawback is that there’s no way to include extra one time payments, monthly payments, etc.

This mortgage calculator is a must have for realtors. MortgageCalculatorfromMK is also very useful for people who are looking for homes, as it will take into account all the factors that go into buying a home. You can also put in how much your mortgage is, and it will the purchase price for the property taxes. Overall a very useful app

First, this is a great app that does the job it advertises.

Second, this is a plain copy of the similar app designed by "SVT Software" (or something similar like that).
I don't mind the copy as MortgageCalculatorfromMK mentioned above is still a 32 bits app version which Apple will soon kill.
BUT... even if MortgageCalculatorfromMK does the same job, it fails, and it's where it's the most important, to format the email form well.

The mortgage table/spread sheet is designed in a way that there are no lines in the raws, which makes it impossible to print, send to a client, etc.
The numbers are just following on 30 lines, unreadable.

If the email feature is fixed, MortgageCalculatorfromMK is definitely a 5 stars but... will it be updated one day?

One of the simplest apps available. Really easy to use and provides clear information when considering mortgage payments.

Helpful app for first-time homeowners who need to keep track of their financial stuff. App is easy to learn and use. Overall great for calculating remaining mortgage and interest.

Comes in handy for all types of loan applications not just mortgages. I use it to verify car loan rates and payment amounts quoted.

MortgageCalculatorfromMK seemed nice if it could work properly. The figures did change except for the monthly payment which seems to stay the same.

There is no way to change payment options (biweekly or other wise)

You can't even add an extra payment or start date. Free apps are better than this one. Very disappointed!!

This is a must have for realtors. MortgageCalculatorfromMK is EASY to use and very accurate. I love how you can input a dollar amount or percentage of purchase price for the property taxes. The user interface is simple and clean.

People househunting will also find MortgageCalculatorfromMK to be an important part of the home buying experience!

Great App. Does what it says it would do. I would give it a 5 star if the creators of MortgageCalculatorfromMK looks into the scrolling feature. If you are inputting the numbers - after half way into the form - MortgageCalculatorfromMK does not scroll up to the next field (Pain in the neck) - you have to close the keyboard, input the number, close the keyboard and then input the next field - then close the keyboard again.....I hope someone looks into this and corrects this issue.

I don't mind paying for an app (I actually prefer it). However, when I do, I expect it to be better than a similar free app. MortgageCalculatorfromMK is a pain to use because fully half the fields are "under" the keyboard. This mean that to access those fields, you must click "done" on the keyboard, then cursor to the previously hidden field. It gets even worse. Even when you are now on that field, to type a value in, the keyboard is on top of the field, so you cannot even see what you are typing in the field.

This behavior is acceptable for a free app. It is unacceptable for a priced app.

This is a fantastic app. For taking care of a quick calculation MortgageCalculatorfromMK by far surpasses all others. Not to mention their support. It is top notch. I reported a small bug and the maker immediately responded and is fixing the issue!!

Works well for me. The only add on that I wish it had is a mortgage pre-payment calculator to go with the payment schedule portion (like: your payoff would be x months earlier, & you would save x dollars in interest if you paid an extra 100, 200 dollars ect a month to your mortgage)...all in all, a pretty good little app
