A horrible and inaccurate app. It used to be simple and functional at its core competency, but now it is as ugly as it is inaccurate.
It’s a very odd decision to incorrectly label Crimea as part of Russia. Only Russia recognizes the illegal annexation of Crimea and major map apps correctly still label it as part of Ukraine. For some reason Appventions doesn’t get this right, nor does it get right many other areas in Africa, the Middle East, or Asia. A map must do one thing, be accurate; Unfortunately, this ugly and inaccurate app fails at that most basic task.
The interactive world map does not load anymore. This was one of the reasons that I purchased WorldMapProEdition , and it used to work, but no longer.
I can't believe they had the audacity to claim that the pro version provides better zoom depth and more detailed information! It's all a lie! The free version is exactly the same as the pro version, so don't waste your money on this scam
If you only require large cities in your maps then this might be good enough. It wasn’t for me.
1. There are countries that just don’t get included. (Mostly small island nations)
2. You can only zoom in so far so you cannot get the details.
3. Some capitals are not updated from the 1980’s
4. The art is nice.
Why can’t I find the island of Java? It is not searchable in the drop down menu. Had to go to Google to find out the capital isJakarta which is searchable but not the island itself?
I love WorldMapProEdition, primarily because you don’t have to be online to use it. I bought the deluxe version and love. But it keeps trying to sell me the version I bought. I feel insulted. Coulda been 5 stars.
Two dollars to still not be able to make out the individual areas of the Middle East. Not really worth it if you want detail.
I like most of WorldMapProEdition but the Interactive Map option does not work. I had the free version and the Interactive Map option stopped working. So I bought the Pro 2023 version and…same issue. Please remedy this ASAP as I will be traveling in Europe soon and could certainly use this feature.
I enjoyed using the free version so I purchased the upgrade, looking forward to using the extra features. However the interactive map will not load. I’m very disappointed and feel like I just got ripped off for the upgrade. Maybe the creators of WorldMapProEdition will create a fix for this problem.
As the listing shows, it is only for iPhone. I loaded it to iPad and it works, but the display is small. Mainly I like having one big world map you can move around on, rather than a bunch of maps of different continents or regions.
I enjoy seeing the places on the world map of where we’ve been and the people we have met. It gladdens my heart that people are so kind and generous wherever we go.
Gives enough detail for general usage, price is low so worth getting it.
If one wants possibility to do fine search this is not WorldMapProEdition for it.
I wish it had more enlargement possibilities, with more detail. Even so, I use it almost everyday.
