Glow Doodle Reviews

I bet everyone who wrote a review of this is saying, "Great app but needs more colors." Also the pink, orange and yellow look the same. Nobody is gonna update if all they're getting is the same colors again. When you erase anything overlapped erases too, leaving a big gap in the middle of the line. I recommend you fix it up a little bit.

Needs:
to fix colors so they look different from each-other
white
purple
light blue
option to hide colors (otherwise it's hard to not change the colors)
fix the undo button

so a-lot of work (clearly)

It's fun to play with but if you are thinking about buying because you like to draw, (like I was) don't.Better off getting doodle buddy for free and drawing something decent. You could never actually draw something with this. But it's fun to play with... I guess...

GlowDoodle shuts down immediately after opening it.

App crashes on opening since update

Awesome but needs a few more features such as:
1. An option to have eraser, not just the undo button, because what if we want to erase something, but not the last thing we did?
2. An option to make the pencil (or whatever you are drawing with), bigger or smaller.
3. An option to change the backround, to a different color, or as a photo from your photo album. And have the option to make the backround glow, whether it's a pic or a different color (that would be soooooooo cool) and if it's a pic have the option to resize it, so you could draw around it, on top of it, on the bottom of it etc. That would cool to!
4. To have way more colors, why don't u put like all the colors you can think of? Brown, purple, white, pink, grey etc. And if you can change the color of the backround also have a black as a color to draw with.

NOTE: Keep the glow affect....that is the whole part of glow doodle, don't change that! And keep the game .99 or make it free (your get more good views.) so just add the affects, please don't take away the old ones.

PS: I got most of these ideas from the game "Doodle buddy."

This is cool app. The bright colors against that black background look great to begin with and then you can make them glow and bring your picture to life. It's a fun way to pass the time.

I'm looking forward to future updates, I'd like to see an option for different brush sizes and I'd like if there was an option for the menu to go away before you start drawing because it sometimes gets in the way.

Over all, I like it and I'm glad I added it to my iphone.

Don't listen to the cheap idiots. This is a great app. For only a $1.00 - u idiots complain too much.

Pros: fun to play with. Looks good after you mesh colors and get creative.

Cons: Once u save it and it goes to your photo album, the picture doesn't look as good as it did in the application. A better way is to take a snap shot of the screen and rather than hit the save button. Take a snap shot of your final work, after you hit the glow button.

Im sorry, yes this is fun to mess around with, but it mostly stresses me out at the moment.

1) the saving doesn't work right, so you have to copy the screen, except the bar is in the way! Please make it so there's a button that opens/closes it

2) the undo button! while it looks cool it messes up the drawing. Anything the line overlapped is also erased. Please make that simpler

3) no one is perfect or capable of drawing the cute little rockets and planets advertised. If you made a pinch zoom in feature I wouldn't keep getting frustrated (then pressing undo which would mess it up even more)

This is a fun app, but it needs improvement. And some unconventional updates like colors and line sizes would be nice too... But for now just make this usable!

For the game it is fun to draw with but when you light it up with more than one color on top of another it turned the colors white in that area wit the same glow outline that mixes it up. But I personally think that the best part of GlowDoodle altogether is when you undo your work. It outlines the last thing you drew in black with the glow outline still there then erases it. I like that part the best but it needs more colors and stencils and sizes for the brush would be great.

This is a amazing game and is definitely worth the dollar. I just wish that there were some more colors, and you can paint on different back grounds beside the black one (like white a background) i also wish that you could use different sizes or different writing utensils... Like a brush or a thick sharpie. If you add some of this stuff i will continue to rate you 5 stars. I got this today so i don't know how often the updates come

I'm not much of a artist, but the glowing effect makes GlowDoodle. quite fun. I like how when you undo a line that you've made glow, it does a erasing trail on the line. A few things that could be added:
-perhaps new color options, such as custom colors, new colors, etc.
-you should be able to choose what lines you want to glow, instead of just having all lines glow.
-maybe some cool stickers?
Overall this is a fairly fun app. especially if you are good at drawing.

So when i first saw GlowDoodle i thought ot would be cool,then I read some of the reviews and didn't know what to think so I just thought Ide try it.. so when I started to draw and make it glow an stuff it was pretty fun! And there isn't that much effect on the way it glows in ur photo album.. So yeah I thought it was pretty fun... Couple things i think GlowDoodle creator person should add. Add more colors, maybe add stickers like doodle buddy but make them glow, I think that would be cool

Okay GlowDoodle is really cool, but it definitly needs an update. Like when you want to save the doodle, the picture looses the glow effect. It's kinda pointless to even waste your time making a cool picture if it can't truly be saved. Plus you should be able to import pictures from your picture library. And last but not least, add a color palette with alot (and I mean ALOT) more colors. Do that and it should be a five star APP.

Very similar to glow hockey, best lookinh of its type, but lacking features. In some ways, the 4 colors are good in the fact that u dont have to open menu everytime u want to change the line, BUT u should have the ability to do that because u cant change line size and add more colors. U should also be able to pick a specific line to glow, not all.

Good looking, lacking features (but yet some good features too

I like this but it would be reallly good if u could insert your own pic. and glow doodle on that. Please I BeG u to addddd that Then I will put 5 StAR !!!!!!!!!!!!!! Please !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And thank u XD ! Untill then I do not recommend it to anyone . So Thos is what u guys need to add .
1. Do it so we can insert our own pics so we can glow doodle on that !!!!!!!!!!!
2. More colors!!
3. Different sizes!!
4. Different kinds of stamps and stickers so we can pit on our drawings or IF u guys add the thing where u insert your own pics. And draw on those, we can put stamps and stickers on those XD !!
5. PLEASE AND ThANK U !!!!!!!!! Please read this and upgrade it as soon as possible !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so lots of people are having trouble. But seriously- chill out! They've added pink and orange. So it's better. Sortof. I'm sure it takes a long time for them to make a color.
For the people who have trouble saving. Your pictures:

If you can't move little bar, then just take a color and hold it down on your picture somewhere and home down the power off button and main menu button on your phone and it will take a picture of it.

Overall, it needs work but I'm sure they are getting to it. But decent app, it's really fun. Kind of.

Oh yeah, and if you like GlowDoodle, try Spin Art for 99 cents.

Fun to do simple sketches and entertain yourself for a second, but not much beyond that. Could use more colors and more options for brush stroke width, etc. Also, looks better in when saved to pics if not yet in "glow" mode- which seems odd. Still, it's a hoot to play with, what am I expecting- a Michaelangelo to pop out of my fingertips onto my phone screen and glow?

GlowDoodle is awesome!but while I'm drawing the thing where u pick ur colors and save and clear just keeps going up and down and up and down so while I'm trying to draw I accidently click clear when I have a really good drawing or I save a really bad drawing of I change the color! Plz fix so u can like have a menu to not make the thing come up!

Yes, this is a fun and creative application. But with any art one would like to save the resulting piece as it looks "on screen". Unfortunately the "save" feature saves a weird and inferior version of what you draw.

I have an iPhone 3GS. I see others mentioning this flaw in their reviews so hopefully the developer will respond with a fix (PLEASE!).

It's cool but it could, again, use more colors, and be creative- make some awesome effects. Also we could control the size and shape. For example: glitter, some colors that glow diffrently, maybe even some basic shapes drawn for us or something. Thank you for your time and please update soon =D

Okay so here are a few minor issues that need to be fixed.
More colors
Brush sizes
When the picture saves it looks very weird and alot different from when I made it. That my biggest problem.
Needs smearing capability
Need to be able to apply other photos from photo album to color over.
When you undo, stuff is still left on the screen and this needs to be adjusted accordingly.

Otherwise it is very unique and would be a great hit if certain things were fixed and modified. I will keep just to see what the updates will be. Thanks.
