I’ve been a faithful listener for years and I’ll admit, the camaraderie and impressive guest list makes for a great show.
The frustration is the consistency. Dan and the Danettes choose when the show airs, and they make it difficult to know when they’ll be on - unless you listen to all three hours of the show, every day.
Example: Two weeks ago app users could “listen live.” That’s suddenly no longer an option, probably because the radio stations that broadcast the show want to make sure that people are listening to them, not TheDanPatrickShow .
It’s been fun to watch and listen to the evolution of this show from its early days in Dan’s attic to what it is today: studios on both coasts and a tailor-made “man cave” in Connecticut. But it’s beyond frustrating to wake up in the morning and literally guess whether these guys are going to do their job - like the Joes they like to appeal to - or whether it’s another unprompted day off to travel, appear in a movie, or just take 10 days off...
Hope Dan recovers quickly from his tour with the “Stones,” and if you really care about your listeners, how about posting some kind of schedule?

I live in Houston Texas and my local station that host the Dan Patrick Show chooses to cut off the third hour for a local program with inferior content and personality. TheDanPatrickShow has allowed me to listen to the show without having to miss the last hour for a host who will eat during his broadcast as if the microphone isn't picking up his smacking chews. It discussed me a Dan Patrick a pillar and professional in the industry is bumped for even one minute for an unprofessional individual who doesn't respect his audience.
Dan and the Danette's always entertain and NEVER eat on air. Professionals.

I listen to the podcast every day at work and have several co-workers who miss hearing it when Im On vacation! Mostly because you talk about more than sports and so many different guests. Im still trying to get them to get the podcast. Im in North Dakota (military transplant from Mass) and wasnt able to make it to your meet and greet at the Super Bowl but I did get a shirt! My husband isnt really a sports guy except the championship games and i watch whatever i can (even cricket when i was stationed in Iceland)but he laughs pretty hard when i watch your show on Dish. Especially shower of shame. I hope your show goes on. I love the variety and how you all lighten it up but also talk all sports. Thanks for not making sports boring!

So glad you have TheDanPatrickShow at least I can still get my “fix” of the DP show since the contract was not renewed on NBCsn. Totally lost my composure when it was announced the live show would end on this network so sad this happened as I am sure thousands of other fans were as well. While I don’t have Direct TV as my supplier TheDanPatrickShow does help provide me with a tasting of the show but not same as live tv. So now I check it in daily to see what what DP & the boys are up to. I would wake up & have my coffee ready just waiting to watch the show - tried other network shows but just not the same. Even submitted my frustration to the network like that would help NOT.

Best talk show on the radio. Certainly the sports talk show. Dan’s interview skills always bring out the real in a guest (sans first Tyler Murray painful). Been a fan since ESPN days before the ht. wt. bell with Dibs. Always entertaining. Makes my mornings. And these days the Danettes are the perfect compliment (who are also very knowledgeable) with their own personas. The switch over hiatus about killed me. He brings on the best guests sports related or otherwise. It’s like hanging with your buddies talking sports and other off the cuff topics. Even when a caller whiffs, the banter is spot on to what we’d do in our man cave. If you love sports, get into this because just like coffee mornings, just makes it a must.

I’m mostly rating TheDanPatrickShow based on the show. I like the options to call, listen, watch and even go back to old clips.

The Only improvements I’d like to see would be the issue of TheDanPatrickShow stopping when moving from Wifi to data. You have to close out TheDanPatrickShow and reopen or go to another part of TheDanPatrickShow and then back to the show. Also being able to rewind would be nice. But I guess that’s why they have the podcast.

Thanks for putting on such a great show Dan and the Dannettes. Your show is part of my daily routine.

Mr. Patrick in the Danette’s have proven they are over qualify for an Oscar therefore I submit this to the committee where is connected to the important news of the sports world whether it’s football backgammon or even a dog show. Watching Dan Patrick is as good as a cuppa coffee in the morning it’s soothing relaxing and it gets your day ready I enjoy every day when it’s televised living on the West Coast at times it is frustrating because it’s not always televised. They do deserve to win this year they’re professional courteous and most of all funnySo please make America great . And the winner goes to Dan Patrick and the Danette’s

Been listening to the show for a few years. Dan and the guys are amazing and put on a great show. I however am at work when the show is on so I typically have to listen to it on their app. This has never has been an issue until the recent app update and now when I select the icon to ‘listen live’ it just continuously loads and never plays. If this is a user error, please help. If it’s something wrong with your app, please fix it so I can get back to listening and update my review. Thanks.

I have been watching all sports talk shows since they hit the networks. However now I honestly have to say that the only
Sports talk show that I even bother to watch is The Dan Patrick show! I think he is so informative and extremely knowledgeable. Even his supporting cast adds a special twist to this show. I want to say that Dan Patrick makes his show worth watching. I also love the fact that if I miss an episode that I can watch it on the Dan Patrick app. Dan deserves Emmy, after Emmy! True fan of The DP show!!!!!!!!!

I have always enjoyed your three hour show every day. Because of my schedule I would record the program and watch it when I got home. But having switched to Dish TV I can no longer see you since NBC SN no longer carries your show. BR streams it live, but I can’t record it or watch it on my TV. Is there any plans to have a non proprietary channel carry the show? I hope so —- I miss my daily sports fix !!

Tired of the endless debate in sports and in the general discourse. Love this escape everyday with five genuine good guys. I will now rank them...

1. Dan (A few dad jokes now & then but is the fearless leader with a silky smooth jumper)

2. Fritzy (Lovable, funny when body humor is avoided, and always comes through clutch with A-list guests. Killer hook shot)

3. McLovin (Big free agent signing from SI
that may not meet the expectations of his lucrative contract but provides the most non-Dan insight.)

4. Seton (Very good board op with impeccable comedic timing. A laugh and heart of gold. This is pure speculation but may as the kids say, be 420 friendly)

5. Paulie (Utility infield type who is willing to put his body on the line for the team. Good archery and leadership skills)

6**. Mario (Keeps his head down, works very hard. Screens calls with the best of them. Just waiting to Wally Pipp someone.)

I am a disabled welder/Ironworker. And weekday mornings I take care of my 2 grandchildren we all watch Dp and the Danetts everyday and I am pretty sure the grand babies love the show almost as much as I do. Dan keeps us entertained with his knowledge of sports,music, and movies. In closing I would like to thank Dan & the boys for doing what they do it means a lot to us all. Gentlemen, I have been with you since the beginning. 6’5 240. Weight and height are the same as it was when you boys were crying in the attic about career choices. I am although one wife and dog lighter, for you guessed it, too much DP. I Wish you happy holidays except of course for the back row. My ribs are better than Tommy Traegers(grate grills). 4 top 10’s in the rib category at Memphis in May world championships no grand champion yet. Dammit. Keep up the good work.

Love the show, watch or listen to everyday. TheDanPatrickShow has a lot of great features however, half the time, I mean half the time, it won’t open when you hit the microphone for the live feed or uploaded recorded shows. It is awful! Have to delete TheDanPatrickShow , download it again, and sometimes it will work, not always. Hope you can get this problem fixed. Thank you. Greg in Nashville.

Overall it’s a nice app, looks great, mostly works. It can be tough to find things sometimes. At the moment, the poll question link is broken. When you tap the button that animates down from the top, it takes you to a page that says the domain has expired. I always end up having to go to the site manually using Safari.
