The reason I downloaded this app was to be notified when battery levels reached an upper level as it charged and a lower level as the battery drained. These features are available in the Settings and the interface to set them are awesome - you can choose VOICE or SOUND to notify you when you reach your preferred upper level which you can set as a percentage battery value (in 5% increments) and also to notify you when a preferred lower level battery % is reached as your battery is drained from regular usage. Unfortunately, it works only when it wants to. Sometimes it does notify you as these levels are reached, sometimes it fails to notify you at all, and at times, it incorrectly notifies you that you have reached a set level even though you haven't (ie. it says you reached a set level of 90% even though you are at 79%). Since this battery level notification feature was the sole reason I downloaded the app, I decided to delete it from my phone (iphone 6) after a little over a month of daily use with terrible results in this respect. I did not use the other features of the app so I cannot comment on that.

My sole need from this app was an alarm that notifies when battery charges up to 80%, and when it discharges to 20%. Part of battery-life preservation routine. It has those settings, however I think it has successfully done it only once. To make sure I was not just missing short notifications, I sat right here with it and watched it charge to go from 74% to 96% without any notification. Perhaps the other functions are helpful to others, so I'm not giving 1 star, but it does not work for my need. Also, when I went to look for a link for feedback/help in the app itself, I could not find one. A shame.

I am new to the iOS ecosystem so I'm not familiar with the limitations placed on battery applications but apparently they are pretty extreme - this app will only reliably provide a battery CHARGING notification if:
1. the app is in the foreground
2. the screen remains unlocked while the App is running (there's an option for this in the App)
Given these two requirements I haven't bothered to try testing the DISCHARGING notification.
Note that in my original review I couldn't get changes to the widget to show up. Turns out there's a bug that prevents the selection marks from showing in Dark Mode (which is my default). Once I turned off Dark Mode I was able to select the items I wanted to see on the widget. The developer has promised to fix this issue in a future update.
There are other things about the application that I think could be improved which account for just a 3 star rating.
