Worst app in the whole universe🤬🤬🤬
Does not work. It's just a platform to post and adclick ad. Don't bother downloading. I probably downloaded spyware as a result. AVOID!
This could actually be a decent app for it's purpose if a little time was put into it maybe? For one the sound you get for the notes is indestinguishable. It sounds like someone held their cell phone up to their bass amp to record it, and second, BassTuner requires you to press a button to hear each note, and it plays the terrible noise for about a second. To make a better app, get better sound quality, and apply a feature to play the note a couple times or at least let it ring out.
your welcome

Annoying
Doesn't work for those of us that tune down a 1/2 step. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾
Didn’t help me tune my bass At all
Would be far more useful if it would listen as you tune
Don’t hear the sound of the string when I want to tune my bass guitar….
Y’all obviously didn’t listen to 90s Weezer or Mellon Collie that much. Just have it drop down half a note and that would be rad
It's a free app and is OK to use if you are in a pinch and don't have a tuner with you. I used this to help tune an electric double bass, and it worked fine. You definitely need to be in a quiet room or use headphones to hear the notes. Sound quality through the iPhone 3G internal speaker is not fantastic (especially the E), but it is usable. If all you need is a set of reference tones to tune your strings to, this works and it's free.
I'll admit, I love BassTuner, I have an adaptor where I can plug in my iPod to my amp, so I can tune with BassTuner and then play songs off iTunes. It would just be awesome if you added multiple tuning along with the standard tuning. Because I play a lot of songs in drop d and c and this would be very helpful instead of having to actually use a plug in tuner.
Don't let the reviews about "terrible sound quality" fool you. When used with earphones, it sounds just fine.
“There’s an app for that” wins again!
Only limitation is volume...has to be used in a relatively quiet environment unless you amplify your phone sounds, and there are many ways to do that.
On the iphone make sure you turn off vibrate or you will not hear anything with or without earbuds. Also compared the notes to my Steinway piano -- pretty spot on.
Nice
Does exactly what it purports to do, simply and well, and… it’s free. What more could you ask?
Very cool and the bass sounds clean
A great little quick app to help keep my bass guitars tuned correctly.
Works as expected, easy to use and great to have handy anytime it's needed
Can you also play notes and stuff with this? Like can this also be a game? Anyways my bass is tuned! 100% recommendation! 5 stars!
