2do is a great task manager that does what it claims—and does so well. The app appears to accommodate a myriad of workflows and workstyles. The layout and numerous features may be daunting to those unfamiliar with productivity apps. But to one who is willing to commit the time and energy to learn the app and customize it to accommodate his/her own preferences, the app is a useful tool. Success with such apps is founded upon having a keen understanding of one’s own individual ways and methods of working and knowing what you need to know at just the right time when you need to know it in order to accomplish your daily goals.
The interface is somewhat cluttered and in need of a refresh. Also, the slate blue is rather lackluster and unappealing—would love to be able to change the color. And would definitely enjoy a cleaner, brighter interface. Additionally, I would welcome the ability to nest an unlimited number of projects and sub-projects, tasks and sub-tasks.
Overall, the app is very well done and performs as advertised. I literally use the app on my Mac Pro, MacBook Pro, iPad Pro and iPhone 8 Plus every day. I’ve had 2do going back to my iPhone 4s, so I’m very familiar with it. No app is perfect, and that includes 2do. I’ve abandoned 2do and experimented with essentially every task manager on the market throughout the years. And I always return to 2do. The app became more useful to me when I refined it to complement my work flow and style.

I had bounced around from to-do app to to-do app, tried a lot of the big names in this category, and was never impressed. Usability is key and being able to QUICKLY add, sort, & organize tasks is primary if you’re going to use one of these apps at all; so interface becomes key.
This is a very powerful program that can be customized very well to your needs. I use maybe 70% of the features, there’s some things that aren’t necessary in MY workflow but I could see the potential in them. This makes it even better from the usability standpoint — the app is already very streamlined and elegant, but if you want to fiddle with settings and setup, you can make it even quicker to enter and manage your tasks.
The single missing feature for me is the ability to share task lists with someone else. I run a business and I would love to have the ability to share one or a couple of my task lists out so I can Manage their actions and activities as well with less frictional loss.

Use it all the time, it's very powerful and flexible, but also simple interface. It's great for different tasks in different categories at a glance. I mainly use it by setting start dates for every to-do, and then some tasks I can "snooze" by moving the start date to another day. I then use the today view to see all the to-do's I need to take care of today.
One feature request is to have a way to have every new to-do item automatically have today as the start date. I also would prefer if the tasks I create from the today view don't automatically have a due date on them, since I only use start dates. Basically, if you could make it more friendly for people who prefer to organize based on start dates rather than due dates, I’d give it a five stars.
Keep up the great work!
