I've downloaded Traffic View or Traffic Cam+ and they are MUCH BETTER than TrafficCamNZLite!!!
There is NO organization WHATSOEVER, and once you finally DO get the cameras, they are STILL PHOTOS, not live motion!!!

Waste of time. Not even worth what you pay for the bandwidth to download it. This is a pure bait and switch. Of course you can buy extra add on that they claim will actually do something.

This program would great if you could actually look at different camera at your choice.
It just shows somewhat fuzzy pictures somewhere that has clear weather of the road.
The one star rating is just so that I rated the effort of the program.

Tried adding URLs to cameras that matter... Most localities even provide the URLs for cameras. Doesn't work through TrafficCamNZLite. but does directly through Safari browser..just bookmark the cameras you care about and save space for better APPs.

From a completely objective standpoint, TrafficCamNZLite blows. I don't feel like wasting any more time on TrafficCamNZLite, but just take my word for it. If I could I would give it negative stars. Two thumbs way down.

Ok, so I need to find cameras on my own, and manually enter the URLs into TrafficCamNZLite? Makes TrafficCamNZLite fairly useless - cameras in TrafficCamNZLite aren't even sorted by city, in fact I can't even tell what city they are from, mor can I find cameras in my own city via TrafficCamNZLite . Fix this, rewrite it for better use ability and I'll give it another chance... For now, I'm deleting it, as it's totally useless on its own.

Not necessarily user error, the traffic cam app may not be able to pick up your city's cam. For instance, while my city has cameras throughout the city, the city's traffic cam site does not offer separate URLs for each camera making TrafficCamNZLite impossible to use. I imagine TrafficCamNZLite would be a useful tool otherwise.

Note to idiots below: this isn't a game. Forget the 1-star reviews from gamers. TrafficCamNZLite works very well and is awesome if you travel a lot. Going on a road trip for work or vacation? Google the cameras for your cities, insert the URL into TrafficCamNZLite , and cameras appear. It's great and most US cities have tons of cameras thanks to our Dept.s Of Transportation!

I just deleted all of the links not in my area and added some in my area. The free version limits the featured to just 3 of the ones I added. The paid version seems to feature 19 and also has a means to browse. After I spend my .99 I might give the paid version 5 stars. Not sure what all of the single star reviews are all about. I love that i can customize this to exactly what I want. I used the Safari browser to get the URL of the cameras by opening the cam image on a new page.

I really think the other reivews of TrafficCamNZLite were unfair. #1 Its free. #2 It works. I set this up for some of the Colorado Springs traffic cams and it worked perfect. There is a small quirk? when updating your cams it creates a duplicate when you hit save, although I exploted this since the only thing different in most of the urls is a number at the end. I'd suggest fixing the bug and adding a option to duplicate a entry proper. Thank you very much for TrafficCamNZLite , the bad reviews where just from those that lack the requisite knowledge to use it properly.

Make sure you enter in the URL's correctly - that's where some people mess up. What you see is basically what the traffic/weather cam sees whereever they are. And yes, they have to be viewable on the Internet first. Check out your local Dept. of Transportation's website. Awesome app!

Don't let all those previous reviews get you down. Their obvious stupidity in setting up TrafficCamNZLite shows through. I set it up for all the traffic cameras from Douglas County down through El Paso County (Colorado) and it works great! So well in fact, that I sprung for the paid version. Keep up the good work!
