Satellite Finder Pro Reviews

Loaded SatelliteFinderPro and it will start up and allow me to select a satellite, but the compass does not rotate. I checked my compass app and it works fine.

Not sure if compass on my phone is the problem. App directed turning dish to right then left giving widely different directions. I think we need to use something else.

I tried everything. Calibrating my phones compass, using a real compass, 2 in fact. I just couldn’t get the hang of SatelliteFinderPro. It kept changing the direction af the satellite. The it stopped working. Apparently I used up all my free uses. When I went to pay for it, I get an error message. Nothing wrong with my payment method.
Had high hopes.

Only shows satellites for directTV and other systems.

SatelliteFinderPro says I’m facing north when I’m actually facing east. Which makes this useless because it has me facing the dish in the opposite direction of the satellite

Edit: I keep getting e-mails about this and yes I’ve calibrated the compass. That’s not the problem. The problem is the compass doesn’t stay calibrated. Might be because I’m using a 6S. I don’t know but it wasn’t working for me. I found one that works better. So, please stop e-mailing me about it. I’m not changing the review.

Don’t install SatelliteFinderPro it’s absolutely a spam it changes directions every time

I cant find yahsat among satellites hope you consider it.

Where are the directions for use?

Please update SatelliteFinderPro beacuce its soo slowly when we want to work on it

Although I finally just used a compass to align my dish, I may have been premature in my bad review.
I thank the developer for their response to my review.
My iPhone case is in fact magnetic,,that could explain the erratic signals I was getting and I apologize for my ignorance.
I gave it 3 stars even though I'm not sure how accurate it is and because it didn't have the 101 degree Directv satellite location.

Seems like a really useful app. But the GPS does not match what my dish controller is seeing, nor my iPhone compass. Those two are aligned. Something I can do besides making more figure 8’s with my phone?

SatelliteFinderPro is awesome you can find the
Azimuth with no problems
Just point and start scanning your
Azimuth in your area .

I tried SatelliteFinderPro for the first time on site and compared it with other I have used in the past. I had a great time saving

I’ve tried a couple others, but this one is so accurate I didn’t even have to peak my Directv dish, it just worked.

This would be an excellent app if it included the Sirius/XM satellites in its database.
