There are two major downfalls of this game.

First, if I’m playing cryptograms on my phone, I shouldn’t have to select every single cell to type in the letter that I know is correct. The beauty of playing a digital version of this game vs. paper is that entering a correct letter should mark all of those letters in the puzzle. Instead, playtime is padded by making you enter every single letter of a puzzle.

Second, ads. There are ads before you start the level, there’s an ad in the middle of the level (which is extremely terrible since that play time is already padded), and there is an ad after the level.

This could have been great, but it fails in two very big ways.

They give you several letters to begin with and then tell you who said the quote. By the time I’ve filled in the letters they’ve given me, I’ve solved the puzzle because the quotes and idioms are iconic: Neil Armstrong’s “One small step for man” and Forest Gump’s “Life is like a box of chocolates” are not challenging. Just know common sayings and quotes and you don’t need to use any logic whatsoever. Also, they tell you when you’re wrong, so you can’t play around with different configurations until you get it right. This is not an app for people who like solving cryptograms.

Too many ads disrupting gameplay. Hints not working intermittently. Sweeper hint not working PERIOD. game is scatterbrained & not well thought out as most are categorized. They claim game doesn’t stick so you are able to place letters easily. THIS IS A BLATANT LIE! In addition; they make it difficult to contact them because you MUST USE “MAIL” & cannot use whatever email YOU CHOOSE TO USE, IE: yahoo or google mail! Not worth my breath to explain all that is essentially wrong with this game. Save your breath & your time. Try a different cryptogram game!

I played this game for maybe 10 levels or so before I deleted it. There was an ad between every single level and sometimes it even interrupted the middle of a level to throw in another ad! You can’t even skip the ads or hurry them up like some games. And you can’t pay a small fee for an ad-free version. I love cryptograms, but there’s others out there I can play with less irritating ads.

If you could get past all the dumb ads this might be pretty challenging. You have some glitches in the game too if you pick A letter is won’t light up blue unless you tap it hard and then when you chose a letter from the box it will change it to make it wrong so you have to watch another ad again. Then the energy points if we can’t say no thank you then why put out there. It makes you take it then another back to back ad. Smh

Every 8 seconds advertisements appeared to spoil the game. There are far too many ads and I cancelled the game once, then came back for more punishing interruptions.i will delete it again as this many ads are annoying.

I really like this game, but am very frustrated by ads that interrupt gameplay. A couple of ads are expected between games, but interruptions during the game break up the flow and fun.

I have sounds off in CipherMaster and have set a focus which mutes all sounds. But about half of the ads play sounds anyway! No matter how much I like cryptograms, this behavior is unacceptable.

This game actually could be enjoyable. Unfortunately it has more ads than play time. Of course I expect ads. Its how companies generate income. But this game has more ads than playtime.

Could’ve so good but you got greedy.

This game is actually better than similar games. The letters are larger than average and you seldom hit the wrong space or type the wrong letter. That’s the good news.

Bad news is the ads, which is what spoils so many games. I expect an ad between puzzles. Fine with me. I expect ads to buy back in if you make too many mistakes. Also fine. In fact that’s better than burning through boosters or whatever you need for a redo.

But I get one or two ads right in the middle of a puzzle. That’s where they lose me. Too bad. It would have easily been five stars if it didn’t interrupt the puzzles. There are many competing games that do just fine with one ad per level and one ad to buy back in.

I love this game, but there is an ad before and an ad after (which is fine). Then there are 3 to 5 or 6 interruptions during the game with ads! That is way too excessive. I will probably continue to use this game, but please try to eliminate some of the “coffee breaks”. I have already finished 107 games and have had it for about 2 weeks

I’d give this game 5 stars but the pop up ads drive me crazy. An ad before the game starts, ads popping up while you’re playing, ad after you finish. Geez way way way too many adds!

Fun game but way too many ads that takes the enjoyment out of. Will probably give it up for that reason.

Your game is ok. It is very well thought out. I’ve just started playing
But I have one minor complaint. It is obvious that English is not the first language of the people who write it. Case in point kventin Tarantino. I will continue to play as long as it doesn’t get too bad
I would like to give it 5 stars but the grammar is something that needs to be addressed

Please think about rewarding us with a free clue after 10 or 12 solved puzzles. It's a bit of a drag to stop and watch an ad just to get help. Hence the 4 stars. Otherwise good game!

Wish the ads only popped up before and after a game. It’s annoying when they pop up during the games.

The quotations are interesting and not too hard nor too easy. The puzzles keep my interest and solving them is rewarding.

This is a great game! Challenging enough to keep me interested, but still fun to play.

I gave 5 stars for having the title of topic so we know what to guess about the subject the other games like this don’t have that and it’s full view not the other games have that either love it

I’ve played other cryptogram games and find this one to be the best. My objective is to solve it, not struggle with small squares and miss a letter because I pointed to the wrong one. Aggravation isn’t enjoying. These squares are large, the phrases and proverbs are sometimes familiar and the game is both challenging and fun
