I had high hopes for ReeHeld after reading some reviews online and I was ready to pay for the full version if the trial pictures turn out well. However ReeHeld crashes every time I try to take a photo and so far I haven’t been able to take a single photo using it.

The stock camera app is leaps and bounds better at low-light shots, and it’s free.

Listing in-app purchases should not be a way to list a free app that requires purchasing without listing the pricing beforehand. It’s awfully scummy to have to install and setup ReeHeld before getting hit with purchase options, only to find out that you can only take 10 photos for free.

Even though I received a response, Im not changing my review, because they ignored the reason for my rating.

Not once did I complain that ReeHeld wasn’t free. If your app isn’t free, then sell it. Don’t list it as free and force me to download it in order to see the price.

I’ve tried to get better pictures. The only way is to dump ReeHeld and try another.

I downloaded ReeHeld to get a specific shot of a car driving in the dark. Unfortunately every time I try to take a photo ReeHeld seems to quit before the photo saves. Not only does this take away one of my ten free photos. Not mad just disappointed I can’t take my photo.

The apps kind of pricey. You are limited to 10 free uses before they ask you to purchase.

I didn’t get to really use it.

No where in the description does this mention that it is a trial and then locked behind a subscription. Mention your subscription prices up front if you’re going to paywall your app. Really tired of developers pulling this. Please note, this is not because your app isn’t free. You should absolutely charge for your app! It’s full of what seem like great features. The issue here is that you aren’t up front with your prices. If I go to a store to purchase an item, but no price is listed for it, I’m not going to buy it. I’m not going to walk it all the way up to the checkout to find out the price in order to decide. Per your response to other people pointing this out, I have carefully read the apps description on its entirety, I do not see a listed price. Could it be in one of the many many links?

ReeHeld always crashes when I take a picture and try to use my own picture I hope you can fix it soon.

I just bought ReeHeld and I’m trying to learn to use it. Everything I start it I’m prompted to review before I can use it. To hopefully get rid of the nagging so I can actually learn it here is my initial feedback: Stop making it nagware, especially with someone who just paid you for it. Not a good first impression

Amazing results for when it’s not convenient or possible to use a tripod. I wanted to have the metadata record how long the exposure was, and reached out to the developers, who said it will be in an upcoming release. For some reason all my pictures taken with ReeHeld are sideways and need rotating to be oriented correctly. Not a huge deal. Right now it only saves files as JPEG, I’m also hoping they can add other file saving options. Those things keep it from being a five star app for me, but the bottom line is ReeHeld does what it says very well.

Need work on ditching Jpeg, and opening the pipeline to the better, Heif format. Light Stack does this and the pictures are much cleaner at the base level. Other than that, really good app that does its job well. Thumbs up!!

I love ReeHeld because of the ability and flexibility it gives me to capture long exposures. No tripod, no filters just use ReeHeld to capture awesome photos. Definitely recommended for all phot enthusiasts

I’m not sure what kind of voodoo is under the hood but this is one of the most useful and cool camera apps I’ve ever used. Also a great FB community of users. I’d give it 6 Stars if I could.

Have no idea how they do long exposure hand held, but they do it well!!

A must have for any serious iPhone photographer!!

I’ve had ReeHeld for a while but just recently had the time to really play with it. I really enjoy using it. It’s simple and user friendly and helps you find new ways to express your creativity. I will absolutely recommend ReeHeld!!!

I went down to the Redondo Pier yesterday and took some handheld shots with ReeHeld. Unbelievable. Developers, great work. No tripod. No ND filter. So sweet. Thank you!

This is the best iPhone 14 pro app I’ve used to date for long exposures. The AI is on point!

Really liking ReeHeld so far.

I am fairly new to this camera but very impressed with the both the pro camera and slow image features. Intuitive, easy to use and produces very nice results. Highly recommended as an alternative to the native camera.

Who woulda thunk it??? Hand-held long exposures on a cell phone! Amazing!!

Used ReeHeld after seeing it online and it was very easy to use and gave pretty amazing results. More keepers then deletes. I would love to be able to do light trails with ReeHeld but that is a big ask I know. I did love the fact that I could get a long exposure shot during the middle of day at the beach without an ND filter that produce wonderful results. Definitely worth trying.

Wonderful app. I hate carrying a tripod let alone having to set one up. What a joy to now have a quick and easy app that I can even use midday and not need ND filters. I took some surprisingly good images today that I would never have tried with the big camera.

Great app! I have only tested daytime motion blur (waterfalls, water flowing, people walking…). The AI works really well, as long as foreground objects are not too close. I also experience issues with orientation. It doesn’t register pictures taken in landscape. I know ReeHeld is designed to work with handheld pictures but it works well for me on a tripod too. Small suggestion for the developer: it would be great to be able to use the volume buttons to take a picture as the button in the UI is not always the most convenient.
