I rarely write a review but I had to for this game. There’s an ad after every level and sometimes the ad is longer than the actual level itself! Other games do their ads just fine, but this game is horrible. Deleted it, now instead of getting some ad revenue from me, you’ll get none. I’d rate zero stars if I could.

I wanna say over 80% of questions asked have the wackest “top 5” answers. For example “I use the internet for _____” and I could think of something 100 people would actually say. Shopping, social media, watching videos, etc… but their top answers were , “doing homework and playing video games.” Not to mention there was a DnD question in there and I had to look up what on earth that was. I feel like one person is just answering these. Especially someone who plays DnD.

There’s an add after every single round anytime you click anywhere you gotta watch a 30 second add it’s a little ridiculous to get through 10 rounds you gotta watch a minimum of 5 minutes of ads and only play the game for about the same amount of time.

I only went to level 7. The levels were too easy especially with the keyboard greyed out essentially telling you the answers. I was hoping that keyboard function would go away and the levels would get more challenging but watching 3 ads, each over a minute long, when a level only takes 15 seconds tops to complete is ridiculous. I spent like 2 minutes at most on gameplay and at least 4 minutes watching ads. If it weren’t for that I think it has potential to be fun.

I liked the game, thought it was pretty fun. Key word, LIKED. I played through the first 5 levels and didn’t have an ad until then. After that there is a LONG ad after every single game. If it was a shorter ad I could look past that but when it’s long, makes me put my phone down waiting for it to be over but then when I pick it back up it’s probably for some other reason and not to play.

There are way to many ads , and by that I mean one after each level . That’s not even necessary and most times it’s the same ad , quite irritating honestly . Also it’s more difficult to type than what it should be ? It’s a fun game once you get past all the negatives and then hit with them again when you want to start a new level .

Game started off great with hardly any ads and far apart and an on screen one at the bottom.. which was tolerable.

But then it got really Annoying really quick, a long ad after every game played, but hey if you’re will to pay $5 you can get the ads removed.. I’m not.. it’s a nice game/app.. not worth $5. Just get the OG family feud live game for free (and no ads).

Apparently you’re not listening to what your players are saying. I don’t mind watching ads to keep a game free, but it’s simply greed to have a gaming app where more time is spent on ads than gaming. Something else I don’t think you understand if no one is playing the game, no one is watching the ads and eventually the advertisers will pull out. They’re paying to be seen. Good luck.

I play to pass some time but it’s obvious that the clues were written by someone for whom English is a second language. The tenses are mixed up, some responses simply don’t make sense, spelling is off. Lots of adds but you can remove them for $5. I’d wouldn’t spend a dime on PopularWords. It could be be so much better.

Really nice game but after every game you answer there is an ad how do you except one to enjoy this game… I just download and I’m sure it’s not gonna stay on my phone for a week… I cannot bother with the ads every second it’s just so frustrating!!!!! And why can’t I play offline? Smh I just hate it 2️⃣/5️⃣ …… PLZZZZZZZZ DO BETTER SMH !!!! 🤦‍♀️

So many ads that you cant escape, app glitches, some a lot of the answers don’t make sense. Referred to an ant as an animal. Deleted it after playing for a couple hours. First 20ish levels are so easy its like a kids game.

After about 27 levels, it was asking the same questions over and over. What a waste.

Not at all sure from what country the answers came, but there are some unbelievably strange ones! Also, there is an ad after every level, so I’m spending 3 times as much time on ads as on game play (provided, of course, that the required answer isn’t from left field).

I live the game, I just found out about it tonight and I downloaded it. It’s fun but there’s a problem, too many ads. Yes I know there’s ads for funding, money, ect whatever. But I went the first few levels with no ads but now I’m getting an ad or two between every single level!

I thought this was a fun game & even a bit challenging. I am only on level 1250 or so & I know others are way ahead of me. How do they stand the fact that 6-7 out of 10 games are repeats? I don’t even have to think about the answers just fill them in. Not much fun anymore so deleting PopularWords . I wrote to the game makers but never received Reply.

Why are the questions repeated? I have the game in Spanish, I am at level 112, and I am answering the same questions from previous levels, I paid to not see ads, to play without the annoying ads, it is quite annoying to have to repeat the answers that I already know about levels previous.

D) I do not like the fact that you have to rate every single level. I mean come on that’s just ridiculous. Please get rid of it.

This plate form is totally geared towards the consumer & makes for hours of fun game play. My only concern is that some of these puzzles may be too difficult to complete without the addition of bonus points which is annoying but I guess a necessity evil in an ever growing corporation driven economy.

This game would be ok if it wasn’t so elementary.. why do they have the letters highlighted on the keyboard. I dont see where that feature can be turned off. I don’t need any help with this game.

Look this game is very good but I noticed when I find words that is obviously correct it’s saying it’s not the correct words and have me using up my funds only to buy the exact same words it was refusing. I hate that not all words are spelled correctly when you spell them but will still take the words. Like taking out the trash and it said it’s not the right words only to buy all the letters to see it’s the same words it just refuse me to put in. It’s annoying and unnecessary using up my points.

This is a good game but when I select to mute the noise it returns after each advertisement and you have to select it again, annoying to say the least. Should be able to mute advertising as well.

It is the ok it is just way too easy for me and I’m 10 I’m in 5th grade so yeah it good if you are maybe 5-8 maybe but even then it is still not that good and is beer seriously the most consumed drink like what and I got that on my own also it is 9:00 at night so I’m a little hyper so I should probably get some sleep but yeah sorry by it is so long🤦🏼‍♀️

Am enjoying this game. Have always enjoyed trivia like games. I like the way the first letter is given. I do wish there was an option to turn off highlighted letters that go in the answers to make it a bit more challenging. Having the highlighted letters is basically giving us the answers. The way it is now seems too easy.

The vip subscription said u will get 3 days trial then charge afterwards, in my case, i got charged right then and there, plus it’s a weekly subscription, not even monthly, so be careful guys. Oh yeah, i cancel the subscription immediately and contact apple for the refund, so m less mad now. Other than that, the game is quite nice and relaxing, there’s still a few spelling mistakes but it’s not a big deal.

Words games usually have clunky gameplay and I have a hard time writing answers, but this game worked extremely smoothly. Graphics and buttons worked nicely.

On top of this quality base, I enjoyed discovering the most popular answers. It feels like playing Family Feud in your phone. Some of the answers are very surprising. I hope they add new levels and a team system as I want to play with my friends.

Cool app for people who want to develop their intellectual skills. You can play with your friends or family. This game reduces anxiety and definitely develops your brain.

This game is really fun and nice because it helps me when I get boring nothing to play as soon I seen this game I downloaded and now I’m addicted to it I recommend people like me to advice from me to all of the people who like games to download it as soon you can

I love to play word games and have tried many games like this and came across PopularWords and I was very happy because it helps me relax like no other, I can't get distracted from it, so I recommend everyone to try it

It took a second on second board to realize that they were not looking for name brand shoes. It was asking what people had a pair of. Once I figured out it could be body parts too, it was fun. So far enjoying the game. As for now I’m having fun.

Interesting game, thanks to the developers for such an application. Very convenient interface.

This is a nice game to relax and find out how people think about certain things. I felt like competing in that Harvey TV show. Some of the answers were very strange and it makes the game a bit challenging, but they offer lots of boosters.

This game gives too many ads. Every single minute I get an advertisement. But it’s very good for learning. But I don’t think some of the word appropriate for 4 year olds. Thanks though.
