So disappointed

Was using this app for a number of years and paid for no ads. Suddenly the app would not work, and I removed the app. When I went to reload it, and where, in the past, it would come back up, showing that it had saved my progress, now it’s an entirely different app and doesn’t acknowledge that I had already purchased it. Further, it’s just altogether different. Very disappointed and annoyed.

I would like to enjoy this version but hate the ads. I pay to have the ads removed from the other version. I am not paying again to have these ads removed. I’ll stick with the original version.
Timers?

Update: I gave the app another try after being told there is a setting to turn off the timer. This does turn off the timer while doing the puzzles but timers are still kept and used to determine points or something. I’m back to the original version.
Deleted the app do to the timer. I play at lot of word apps and do them at a relaxed pace. I like to solve puzzles quickly but not while being pressured.
