DLVGuide for Dreamlight Reviews

I’m glad I found DLVGuide, found it by watching someone’s video on YouTube. Wish it was a bit more colorful & had images of crops and critters…

DLVGuide has been very helpful while playing DLV! Thank you so much! There is one thing, is there a way to customize the homepage? I don’t really keep track of character and when I minimize that tab, it undoes itself. Is there a way to hid it?

It’s very helpful: not just a notepad for recording favorite things for the day. Each item you list will link to a recipe or a location, plus the stats for that item.

There are a few items missing, currently latte. I wish there was a report feature to let developers know directly.

I have been able to unlock all recipes, and set a feeding schedule for the critters.

***Devs please note:
- Nala and Simba are not on the Hime page. I please add them.
- can you please add a “sort by energy” to the meals? Now that we have the gliding, making the stuff with the highest energy output is key.
- a “report an app issue” button would be great so that stuff like Nala and Simba missing from Home would be easier to let you know about than hoping you see this review.

Even though it says it works for the iPhone I’m using I cannot download it really annoying since this looks like the best of the apps available

Love how functional DLVGuide is. When you add the characters favorite items under their name, when you tap the item it still gives you the location/price info.

suggestion if possible but idk how developing works so understand if not! love it as is anyway. when we make the list of all the characters favorite items could it generate lists based off grow/buy location?

This is an extremely helpful app as is, but if the photos on the characters could be added in the future, as well as the quests, I’d be a five star for sure!

I really love DLVGuide. I’ve downloaded a few and this is the only one I like. Can’t wait for the update so I can add belle and beast. Also to add a hangout bonus to Ursula who I have walking around as Vanessa now! Keep up the great work!

This is my favorite of the DLV apps to use but it is slow to update, and when the updates happen not all things are captured. For example you still can’t choose timebending as a hangout bonus.

DLVGuide had all the new items from the new additions and dlc before I even knew it needed to be updated! Always go to it to look up recipes!

I love DLVGuide and I use it all the time but it needs the new recipes critters and other stuff added to the next update please

Thank you so much for all of the work you’ve put into this! It’s a lot to keep track of and your app has really helped me. I’d love a couple things if you can find a way to put them in.

For characters:
Check off daily Scramblecoin with each

For Critters:
I’d love to check them off when added to my collection
I’m still gathering critters so it would also be helpful to check them off if I’ve fed them twice each day so I don’t feed them again and waste that food. (Lobster!)

I don’t know if others do it this way, but there are some specific items I mine/collect everyday especially the rarer items like dark wood and iron ore. It would be helpful to add to a daily checklist by biome. Something like:

Biome
Mining each section (and the cave) Iron ore / other minerals
Collecting Wood types
Digging (shards etc)
For Eternity Isle - Time bending
I assume people might want similar to check off flowers and herbs too.
Etc

Cleanup each Biome:
Remove thorns
Remove sand
Remove mushrooms
Remove tree stumps
Etc

All the characters are in the same order as they are in the gave except for Anna. She is showing up second in the list. Other than that, DLVGuide is great. The only things that could make it better is a critter section below the character section, and showing what critters are out currently and what characters are asleep currently.

Great tools to keep track of daily tasks but would love to see the following:
- The ability to create custom tasks
- The ability to reset/clear DLVGuide
- The ability to check off meals cooked meals
- The ability to check off obtained critters.
- Filter characters
