4.4 out of 5
Terrible customer service

It’s a fun game and I enjoy playing it and built my team up to mostly sliver players but came back on after a day and half of my team was gone. Emailed customer support and never received any response or explanation why half the team I worked for and even spent some actual money on coins for free agents was gone. There is no fast way to build you team other than paying a ridiculous amount of money because the cash income to how expensive everything is doesn’t balance out at all. With a little work this game could be awesome but it’s not there yet.

Crashed 3 Times in 5 Minutes

Poor explanations, buggy behavior, tons of crashes. The game is just not ready for release.

Crashes constantly, especially when making selections in the store, free agency, draft pool, etc. The wrong player was selected when drafting - it was the first player I looked at, but ultimately not the one I had selected when choosing “draft.” I was able to draft multiple “fourth round” players without any explanation. Does “fourth round” just indicate player average potential as opposed to actual draft rounds?

The game needs longer in QA. Pass for now.

Big flaw

Great game overall. Many flaws. The DH posting didn’t make sense. Pitching needs major work. Should have a rotation then bullpen like real baseball. More targeted training would be big. Stats tweaking to be more relevant would be nice. Biggest issue now is it says it can’t log in. I didn’t register which might be mistaken but it recognizes the account and say it’d lose it logout is chosen. If I lose progress I’d just delete. It’s a good time killer but not worth rebuilding.

Game is fun, but…

I’ve been playing this game daily for quite a long time. It is fun, and it is visually appealing, but every update to this game is an attempt to push players to spend more real world currency on almost every aspect of the game. Things that use to be free now require coins, which can be earned in game at a slow pace, but are more quickly gathered through purchasing (though that feature currently seems to be broken) with real world currency. It seems the devs are intent on making almost every thing you do a micro-transaction. While I would have originally told people to play this game, I cannot currently advise people to do so in its current state.

Punished for playing

I can not recommend this game as it punishes you for playing. In order to earn money between daily matches you need to play more games. Playing more games exhausts/injures your players, increasing your chances of losing games. Fixing this costs coins to buy rehab cards. Coins are earned through quests and tournaments (more games, more injuries). It’s a negative feedback loop forcing players to stop playing for DAYS or pay money to fix the problem.

A horribly balanced and blatant money grab plastered onto an otherwise ok game.

Fun, but buggy.

I have to uninstall the game after about 20 minutes of game time. Seems super easy to
Understand and enjoyable if you franchise games. HOWEVER, I reinstalled, lost my cool name because “someone already has that name.” And then I made a new team, (had a lot of better hitters), then after 5 minutes the game crashed again and I under to uninstall. Won’t reinstall this time.

Tough to get off the ground floor

The game will take a while to progress, you don’t need to spend much time, if any per day to compete. *Draft center upgrading from four to five says, “Upgrade the Draft Center to increase the maximum size of your PROESPECT pool”. Small fix!* I also have a notification alert that will not go away.

Great game but needs fixing

Love the game and everything that it has to offer but a new update messed up a couple things. For starters, most the players lost the name of their teams so now they are whatever the system gives them. Secondly, the game was tell me I was having signing in problem, which I never had to do up until this point, and lost all of my progress. I don’t know if the 2 things are connected but none the less it could be happening to others. Great game but fixing these couple things would make it even better.

Fun but no instructions

I really enjoy this game and the concept behind being a franchise manager. What I don’t like about this game is that there is no instructions or “how to” option on BaseballFranchiseManager or internet that explains anything after you pass the minimal tutorial.

Some things that don’t seem to work correctly are extra innings that are sudden death based, giving the team that hits at the top of the inning almost a guaranteed win.

Another thing is the home run mission which doesn’t count home runs, making that mission impossible to complete.

Another issue I have come across is when you are playing another team in “highlights only”, there is frequently an invisible base runner that scores even though the game doesn’t visually show anyone on base scoring at home plate.

In the GM’s office, after my players have waited out the fatigue timer, it still shows all my players with a notification and explanation point even though there is nothing wrong with them.

The auction filter system needs an overhaul and you need to be able to search for specific positions, not just “batter”.

I’m sure there is more, but overall it isn’t a bad game. II really enjoy the game and would love to see some of these things fixed.

Very entertaining game.

Not much of a P2W because you can’t buy packs little frustrating when you are a 72 getting beat occasionally by a 50’s team but I can’t say that never happens irl.

Some may say yeah you can’t buy packs but you can spend money on in game cash and coins and then get players from auction but that fueling the economy in the game so I have no qualms with it.

I’m hoping they decide to do other sports with this idea I’ve been looking at BaseballFranchiseManager Store everyday hoping it’s there.

Why not 5 star you may ask.

I didn’t do 5 because I don’t think games deserve a 5 star unless they made something game breaking honestly my rating lies at the 4.5-4.7 range but I can’t do partial stars.

Definitely fun and casual and recommended to anyone that is a fan or LF management games.

Good game with game-breaking bug

I love this game but I started a game for the thousandth time about a week ago and the game never started, and now BaseballFranchiseManager is stuck showing the teams in the pre-match screen. Closing and opening BaseballFranchiseManager doesn’t do anything, nor does deleting and reinstalling BaseballFranchiseManager . The game is literally unplayable with this bug.

Great game but one thing

It’s a fun game but every regular game you have to play makes you wait 1 hour and that’s not fun just sitting there doing nothing. Other than that you can customize your own team like where it’s located and the team name. You can pick your own colors and overall it’s a fun game to play.

It keeps saying something went wrong and try again later

This is a very great and I want to be able to play it but the game won’t let because for some reason it says something went wrong everytime I try to play. Please fix this

Can’t turn off haptics/ vibrations

Its a great game, I just personally don’t like when my device vibrates while I’m playing a game and I turn it off but I couldn’t find a button to do so. Otherwise the game is a lot of fun

Love it but some issues

1 I love the game but it really easy to players to get hurt 2 It a sudden death in extra innings and things that i love is the auction i think that that is really cool 3I think playing the game is gonna be more fun than just simulate 4 I don’t like that the teams change the names except yourself and the teams names is like teamm102 teamm 102 stuff like the names and the creative team names like wolfs tomatoes socks and other stuff instead of like teamm102 and that type of stuff that what i think about the mini update

Fun game once you get going!

Might take some time to build up recovery cards but once you do it can be a really fun game! It seems like they look at these comments and really intend to improve the game which is fun to see. Makes me feel ok with spending money on in game purchases knowing they are bettering the game.
That being said the extra innings are sudden death which isn’t correct in baseball. The home team always bats last (bottom inning) unless they’re already winning the game at that point.
Also I never get any 3rd round draft cards and I’m not sure why?

My biggest thing to critique is that there needs to be more in the season pass rewards. Either better draft cards or better card packs. I feel like it should either be longer or have a super nice reward for finishing like a player or a round 2 draft card. Something super special

Team ratings apparently don’t mean anything

I’ve been grinding for over 5 months to build my team up, paid like $18 on in game purchases and have a 195 rated team. 90+% of the teams I face in simulated games are rated lower than me, yet I lose about 45% of my games, regularly losing to teams rated 30-40+ points below me. I seriously don’t understand how to win more games. This is like if an MLB team played a season against double A teams and barely went over .500, it makes no sense to me.

The cash and revenue system isn’t the great and could use improvements.

Really I would rate this game 4.7/5 because the cash and revenue system isn’t great. It’s confusing that you do not get revenue for all of the home games you play. Also if i decide to quick sell a player I shouldn’t have to spend coins to do so. The game should be player friendly and not require me to spend irl money to sell a player I already own.

However, I do like if you want to have a good team you need to play the game consistently for a while, it’s nice that I can’t get 99 overall players easily.

(Suggestion) If the free quick sell is an idea the developers do not like, instead make trades available so that I can trade a 25 year old player for draft picks instead of auctioning or quick selling a player.

Thanks, this is my favorite game.

Buggy but very entertaining

Probably my go to phone app to pass the time but constantly have been having issues where my game will freeze as I am loading into a game. Then I will close and reopen BaseballFranchiseManager thinking it will fix itself but will only again try to show me that game and will freeze loading it up. Then if I restart BaseballFranchiseManager /reinstall BaseballFranchiseManager /log into my team on a different phone etc etc. Which has been very frustrating when I am attempting to play a lot to earn coins or at least do my daily training for my prospects. But a fun game if you have the patience to withstand it glitching

Favorite game

It’s the only game I own that I spend money on. Absolutely love playing it but I’ve been frozen and unable to play for the past 2 days. Needs to be fixed or updated
