I think StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker is an amazing idea but why can’t at least some features be free? Technology addiction is so damaging and it’s so selfish of ever person who’s worked on and supported StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker to monetize that addiction. It’s a good idea, and I understand production costs completely, but why can’t the basic features be free? All I want is to block a website permanently.

I’ll start this by saying i’m sure if you buy the subscription, StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker is wonderful and does as it says. However, I don’t spend money on things without testing it out for a while first, and in such cases it pays for a company to be a little generous. Limit to two profiles? Perfectly reasonable. One app per profile? Also reasonable. One day per profile? Defeats the entire purpose. So, i downloaded a different app that does the same thing with a less complicated UI, only to find that there is. No. Option. To delete StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker. At all. Which makes me incredibly unhappy. Wouldn’t have left any kind of review if i could just delete it and move on :(

I want to use StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker but it’s full of bugs. I am on iphone 11, most recent ios version and when trying to make the selection of apps to block within a profile it keeps crashing/freezing or showing a blank page. It’s very frustrating.

Then when you finally set up the block list, if you want to click pause it doesn’t do anything. Like the state is not updated. So you have to close StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker and reopen it and hope it will work. Like no one tested the most basic feature of StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker?!

This is disappointing. I was hoping for an app that would force me to take 15 minute (or so) breaks every hour I was on my phone for every day in the week. It looked promising, yet you have to get premium and pay to actually get it to work for multiple days of the week. The free version only lets you choose one day.

Too many bugs can’t I read the hours when trying to chose a time limit because the screen is cut off. After allowing all access to my apps, it still doesn’t work properly and will not give me any notice to end screen time just lets me stay on the apps I’m attempting to block. I tried working with different setting but it seems useless and hard to navigate

In strict mode, i am able to change the mode to normal. Also able to click on profile and edit it on 2nd try.

There is a time to block running alongside which clashes but it still should honor the strict mode and not allow edits. Bought a subscription but disappointed

The most distracting apps are not blocked but everything else is blocked in quick app?

The extra couple steps it’s takes to defeat it after I activate it is enough for me to leave my phone alone when it’s time. So for me it works.

If you select entire app categories like games, it doesn’t block anything but if you manually select all but one app in a category, it works. It’s quite tedious but I finally got StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker to do what it says it will.

I contacted support a month ago and did not receive any answer until I contacted them again. I’ve sent them the logs. Hopefully they can fix this bug by next update.

I absolutely love StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker! This is the only app I’ve found that offers you the option to set intervals and add an educational requirement for apps. Complete ADHD game changer! Before I would burn though all my screen time first thing in the morning. Now I can set it to force me to spread it out. Also, the educational option…OMG! Chefs Kiss! I can literally set it up where I have to use a productivity app before I get on social media! I don’t know if I can live without StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker. It’s occasionally buggy but it seems like the usually patch up issues very quickly.

Hey great app purchased yearly subscription. Im on IOS. On strict mode I can still delete StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker and apparently strict mode is set to 7 days only.

Actually blocks apps unlike iPhones built in screen time feature, so helpful

StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker has really helped me stay accountable to my goals.

I'm much more present with my kids and family. I very much appreciate StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker for the freedom it has given me.

I’ve become so addicted to social media that it’s taking a toll on my job. I’ve used StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker for two days and it’s a miracle worker!! Very simple to you and effective.

But I’m not sure if that’s a love thing or a hate thing!!

If you take the time to read the instructions, StayFocusedAppSiteBlocker works extremely well, and you cannot beat the price.

The feature of blocking unhelpful apps until you have spent a certain amount of time on other spiritual, productivity, and/or helpful apps was a game changer for me. I set it to make me need to spend 10 minutes on a couple of helpful apps first before I could access practically my phone. Great help!

Great App, love how it tries to actually make it almost impossible for the user to not access an app when they feel they shouldn’t for themselves. A lot of apps just provide too short a wall to jump over. This one actually makes it hard for yourself. What I was looking for.

Would honestly love if the password protect was only ever acquirable by someone else, no way-around with “I forgot my password” and an email unlock safety.
