Way over priced subscription!

The weather widget doesn’t work on the free version so what makes me think it’s gonna work if I were to pay $11 / month for a subscription, for a clock widget?!? Yes folks, they are asking for a monthly subscription @ eleven dollars a month!

If the widgets worked in their entirety, I wouldn’t mind paying a 1x fee for premium version of Wallpapers17 , but I’ll never pay $11.00 per month OR $132 dollars a year for a clock widget!!

Inaccurate, difficult to use and not worth anything!

Battery power indicator inaccurate. Could not download more than one widget. But nice wallpaper. After free trial Wallpapers17 gets a 21 flush salute.

Sneakily tries to buy premium

Onboarding’s has a “dark pattern” UI design that tries to trick you into buying premium.

Lock screen widgets were total trash. Waste of time.

$12 monthly subscription = unskippable video ads

Wallpapers17 is collection of popular wallpapers that can be easily found on Unsplash or similar sites.

If you purchase the subscription allowing you to download them (between $12 and $29 monthly), you are forced to watch a video ad each time you download an image. The ads play for 5 seconds (sound defaults to on) and you are forced to watch for 5 seconds before you can skip it.

There is suppose to be a 3 day free trial but I got charged as soon as I downloaded Wallpapers17 . This never happened before with any other app except this. Be aware
