I got a notification that my friend sent an instant but the message isn’t there. It’s not allowing me to send my vibes either. I’ve restarted and closed out of the app, and done everything I can’t. I’m afraid if I delete and reinstall I’ll have to create a new account

When I made my account, despite selecting no to adding all of the recommended accounts it still did and sent requests to many people I did not want to add. It won’t let me undo the friend requests or at least delete my account.

I’m on iPhone 14 pro iOS 16.5.1 and I had to verify my account on my wife’s iPhone 14 pro max iOS 16.5.1 and that worked. I was able to login on my phone after verification but cannot update any part of my profile and none of my friends posts are loading.

How to fix Lapse app crashes or not working on Iphone (iOS):

Close and restart the Lapse app on iPhone
Update Lapse app to the Latest Version for iOS
Uninstall and reinstall Lapse iPhone app
Update your iPhone to the latest iOS version

Fix Lapse on iPhone unable to connect to server/internet connection issues::

To resolve Lapse network issues, Reset phone network settings:
1. On iphone, goto Settings » General » Reset » Reset Network Settings.
2. Enter device passcode » confirm [Reset Network Settings].

Turn off iphone VPN:
1. Goto Settings » General » VPN

Lapse Android App Issues and Solutions

Fix Lapse not working on Android, crashes, errors or is unresponsive:

Force Stop the Lapse App
1. On android, goto Settings » Lapse » click [Force Stop]

Update Lapse to the latest version on PlayStore

Clear Lapse App Cache and Data:
1. On android, goto Settings » Apps » Lapse » Storage » click [Clear Data] option. This clears both data and cache.
2. restart Lapse.

Fix Lapse unable to contact server/ Lapse internet connection errors on Android:

On android, goto Settings » Apps or Manage Apps tab.
Click Lapse » [Force Stop]
Next, goto Storage » click [Clear Data]
Again, goto Lapse » Mobile Data » [Allow Background Data Usage].
Go back to Settings » Connections » Mobile Network » Network Mode. Change the network to 4G e.g. LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)
Relaunch Lapse
