I was really looking forward to using POV for my wedding as a fun way to interact with guests. I find using new apps easy and can follow directions well but I found this hard to set up. Additionally I ordered the NFC chips and they had no instructions and were not that easy to use. They also took more than 2 weeks to arrive. Overall I was disappointed by the experience and regret using it for my wedding. :(

Doesn’t even filter photos to look like a disposable it’s literally just a shared album of regular unfiltered photos that they try to charge you to send to more than 10 people. What a scam! Good idea but poor carry through definitely need to implement a filter similar to HUJI or Dazzicam

I love the idea of POV but i have officially waisted half a day trying to get it to work and this is 2 days before our wedding. To make it even worse I have been charged twice for the same event which is not cheap. so far its $52. I hope I can get some help soon with this issue!

Yeah it’s stupid this is not available for android. «Oh yeah auntie sorry you can’t participate but see you have an android and we just don’t do that here. You’re not good enough for us.»

I used this for my friends birthday party and was so excited, making sure to take 25 photos. Now the next morning, the album only has 2 of my pictures and is showing equally low numbers for most of my friends who also took 25 photos. Only one persons 25 photos are there, everyone else only has 1-4 photos that are showing in the album so we are missing roughly 160 photos from the night. Extremely disappointed.

POV seems super cool and has great features, but any guest that doesn’t have an iPhone can’t be a part of it. Unfortunately, we can’t use it for our events if it’s not able to be downloaded on non Apple products / can only be opened via link through Safari.

I was planning on using this for an event I was helping host but then I realized that you have to pay for more than 10 guests. I have over 50 people coming and didn’t want to use my budget for this

I had really high hopes for POV. Got it for my daughter’s quinceañera. I paid for access for
100 people. Only 5 people actually used this. People’s complain was that you can’t upload and share photos from your own camera roll, they have to take them directly with this app. This would be a 5 star app if you could just upload the photos from
your own camera roll since people want to actually be taking pictures with their phone for them to keep.

Love the idea of POV! I was thinking about using it for my wedding in November, so I figured my husband and I could give it a try this weekend to see how usable it was. Both of us were unable to really close POV … like it didn’t want us to leave until all the photos allowed were taken. We are a little worried about this being an issue, especially thinking about our older family members attempting to use this.

Also to note - though I think other reviews mentioned this - there is a fee to have more than 10 people access the “event”. That being said, we thought the fee was INCREDIBLY realistic and low considering what POV offers!

POV is great. After using it however I noticed that people are less likely to use POV because people couldn’t upload photos from their albums (ie people want to take photos on their phone not just on POV )

App would be 10X better if this was possible!!!!

POV is such a great idea and fun to try. We just had a couple disappointments. I tried using this with my daughter and her friends, but they couldn't use it without downloading POV . I thought the advertising states other parties do not need to download POV .
The other thing was because these girls were younger they forgot about taking photos throughout the night. I wish there was like a reminder alert like every couple hours along with being able to pick an end time to your event.
Super fun idea and I recommend to my friends for weddings and vacations.

However wish I could have edited the photos. I was a guest at a wedding where this was used. Had to get POV to see the pictures a few days later. It was easy to use and some of the guests photos were great.

Encountered glitching when trying to print off barcodes for guests but developer got right back to me and emailed me the barcode. I had an event with close to 150 people and had high hopes that at least half of the people would participate- and paid for 100. That wasn’t the case at all. Only 10 or so uploaded photos. There were a few people that really got into it and I got some good photos from. I chose for the photos to be revealed after the party and apparently that was a mistake. Most of the feedback I got was people hated not being able to see them right away or the option to choose whether or not they wanted to upload specific photos taken. If it was a bad photo, they just quit playing along. I own a private event space and really like the concept- so I’m willing to try it one more time with different settings

My family downloaded POV for my sisters graduation week and love it. 2 things I suggest are, 1- Allow photo uploads. 2- Allow user to preview photo before submitting.
We are using the free version.. so maybe these things exist in the paid version. Other than those 2 things.. it’s a a great app and easy to use.

My fiancé and I were thinking of using POV for our November wedding so we tried it out during a recent family trip to get real-time feedback from people like them who would be using this. The pictures come out GREAT. It’s super fun and I love that the vintage setting has the date, very cute for a wedding or specific dated event.

With that said, we had a couple issues that we are hoping can be fixed by November.

1st - I selected “reveal photos DURING event”. However, as the admin, I’m the only one who can actually see the photos until the end of the event. I’m not sure that’s the intention.

2nd - Other than myself, as the “admin” for the album, no one else could view their own gallery while the event was going on. I didn’t like this because if someone takes a blurry photo, doesn’t like a photo, has a duplicate, etc. There is a gallery button on everyone’s individual page, but no one was able to actually access their own photos. If someone wanted to delete a photo to get more snaps back, they had to ask me to do it.

Wish there was a way to only pay for how many actually used it.
I wish everyone that used it would get a text when it closed to see the gallery.

POV was great for me and my friends celebrating my boyfriends birthday I think the only improvement that could be done is maybe adding a timer or alert go off like Be Real so that everyone gets some different photos. I also wish the 5 dollars charge only applied to groups larger than 15 because with such a small group it felt silly paying for a phone camera… just feel like there should be a few more features to enhance the fun of the digital film camera.

I found them through IG! It’s free and you can adjust the settings of it. It’s very convenient to use and you can set up so many POVs.

I used it for my 25th bday weekend in Phoenix, and we got so many cute pictures. I love the Polaroid effect on the pictures (you can take it off). And you can download all the pictures straight to your phone when you’re done! I will be using it for all the holidays and events coming up. Thanks this app!!!

Used this for a corporate holiday party and it was a hit! Just a genius idea. An improvement on a classic because unlike real disposable cameras, everyone gets to see the final pictures in the end. So everyone enjoys every part of it! Highly recommend!!

I used this at my birthday. About 50 people actually participated. The delayed gratification of the photos was well worth it. Highly recommend!

I used this for my 30th bash and absolutely everyone loved it. Pictures came our great and everything is organized. My only beef is I wish I could export each this app instead of all the pics. Still a 5⭐️in my book, I might just be dumb.

When I say this was so dope and creative. It was an amazing way for me to see pictures of my party from different angles that even the photographer didn’t get. I get to see my guests mingling and having a great time amongst themselves as well. 10/10 recommend

We threw a party for my mom’s 60th birthday and had a photographer to capture the event, but also wanted a way for guests to take their own pictures as well. We debated with disposable cameras but after I saw an ad for this app I opted in—it’s so easy to use for all ages and isn’t wasteful like disposable cameras are. The price for a big party is also very reasonable—thank you for making such an innovative product super accessible and affordable. This was a hit for the party and the guests had fun using it!!!

Saw an ad for POV less than a week before our wedding. We set it up a few days before and are so, so glad we did. It was so much fun to see the photos everyone took and moments that we would have otherwise missed.

As I was going thru the gallery after saving images to my camera roll, I noticed that the orientation from the selfie remained the same. For the images that had text in them, it was kinda strange not to be able to read the words. I wonder if it can be coded in a way to flip the selfies before it unlocks the images? Also, is it a way to shorten the turnaround time?

I really loved POV for my friends Bach party! I think everyone should get POV. It’s so fun and it’s so fun and I think everyone should get POV. Lmk if you need someone to sponsor because I will. We used POV the whole trip and we really thought it was fun! It’s so fun that you should use it on your Bach trip. If you don’t think it’s fun then you are lame you are not allowed to use POV . I hope they use POV at my Bach party because it is so fun! I can’t wait to see the pictures because that will be so fun! I used POV for the first time at a wedding. It was be ey easy to use and I loved that it gave you a set amount of pics to take. The end result was amazing! We loved it so much we used it for our own party! Will keep using it! Really recommend 💕

I found this app by chance months before our wedding and decided to purchase extra users for all of our guests to participate. I can’t express how amazing it was to wake up to hundreds of photos from our family and friends. I love being able to see things from their perspective and now we have so many candid photos of our day. So easy to use and our guests loved it. Highly recommend!!

Loved being able to see everyone’s pics from our party. this app makes it very easy to share our pictures and capture all the special moments of the day!

We are so glad we used this for our wedding! Just like having disposable cameras at the wedding but SO MUCH EASIER! We got some amazing candid shots and they all get to be shared with everyone who celebrated with us.

Best app to have if you don’t have a Photo Booth at your wedding. It’s good for the bride and groom too so they can see everyone’s pictures instead of it being on different phones

I came across POV through a TikTok, and was easily able to create a little sign with the QR code 3 days before the wedding. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed it, which we could see through all the photos. The bride and groom were really excited to go through all of them the next day to see how their friends and family were enjoying themselves at their wedding!!

I just used this for my wedding and man was it cool to see the photos the next day! It seemed easy enough to use even though I noticed mostly the younger crowd used it. But I really enjoyed the filter they had on them and seeing the photos the next day. Great app to use at a wedding!

I used it at a small gathering and it was so fun. Amazing that guests don’t have to download anything. I love the new music video feature. I usually don’t review apps but I’m so excited I just can’t wait to use POV again

I used this for my wedding and people loved it. It was so much easier than disposable cameras & just as much fun! It was awesome to have almost 300 pics the day after our wedding, and so many views we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Super fun addition to a wedding or party

I used the text support and they were quick to respond, very nice, and fixed my issue within minutes! We are very excited to use POV for our wedding soon!

I can't believe I haven't heard of this before. It's such a cool concept and a smart use of App Clips, which is hard to find. POV is super pretty, polished, smooth and pleasant to use so props to the team behind this.

I tried POV for the first time at my sons wedding shower. I love it. We were able to catch the experience from not only my view but the guest as well. It made it more personal. I only wish I could order a photo album straight from POV . Maybe 2.0 version. Great app experience!! 5 stars

Even prior to being able to use POV for the wedding like intended, there was a problem uploading an event I paid for. The issue was promptly corrected and I received the package that I wanted. Excellent customer service on top of an already fantastic way to share experiences. Highly recommend!

We used this for our daughter’s Sweet 16. Playing hostess, I wasn’t able to take many photos and POV solved the problem. It was easy to set up, very customizable and worth it. We got pictures submitted from start to finish from the evening from all angles of the venue. It’s perfect!
