this game is fantastic. finding something to take the place of LITG made me very happy.
the story is great. the characters are all fantastic, and it’s written well. however, one complaint is that you cant restart a specific episode/chapter. perhaps there is a way and i just couldn’t find it?
i made a mistake and ended up having to restart the season, which was a real downer considering how far i made it into the season.
i also don’t love that some LI are somewhat forced. like having to do specific things without really getting a say in it. you can of course reject whatever is going to happen in these scenes, but it’s still frustrating to be thrown into the situations.
none of these issues are enough to throw me from playing. this is by far one of the best choices games on the market and i am addicted.

I really really love this game so far, especially the outfits!! They are all super cute and free and I love how much your able to customize. The story is also amazing and the graphics and it’s just a really good game that I’ve been waiting to get! Since I started playing the love island game I was hoping for a this app game too!! I do wish that all options where someone flirted with you could make it so you didn’t flirt back. Like I’ve had my eyes on Theo and Alex and henri both flirted with me and I had to flirt with one of them back but..I didn’t want to :/ I wanted to stay loyal to Theo you know? So I do wish that there were other options in those situations. Not having to flirt with EVERYONE lol. Love the game tho! That’s my only flaw for it

This game blows the love island games out of the water! It’s very inclusive , there’s no gem choices where you have to pay with real money, I absolutely love it! If I could change anything it would be how much time is between the episodes. Idk about a lot of others but I have a short attention span, so after a week of waiting I’ve already forgotten what happened in the game a week ago AND I’m getting bored quickly because of how long I’m waiting. Other than that I’m so impressed with this game! Thank you! 💜

If you’re a fan of Live Island the Game but have been disappointed by the last couple seasons then this is definitely the game for you. Outfits are free and there’s no gem choices. There are scenes that you can unlock with stars that you get from getting achievements but it’s so easy to get stars so there’s really no restrictions. Customizations are AMAZING especially compared to Love Island the Game, and the best part is that all of the LIs have developed personalities, redeemable qualities, and are interested in MC from the get go!

Like a lot of other players here, I found this after being disappointed by the last few seasons of Love Island the game. This game has so far been worth the price of my Netflix subscription ALONE. I LOVE that as long as you have a Netflix account, literally everything is free. The graphics are fantastic, the storyline is well done, I cannot give enough praise for this game, and we’re only three episodes in!

It’s an amazing, I truly love it and have not stopped playing.
I feel like the game definitely has so many different “options or story lines” for you and it ends up feeling customized for you!
The description of the love senses are so hot and heavy ,I still wish there were more choices to be sexual.
ONE COMPLAINT … I don’t get to dress my person enough and when you do get to dress them there are a limit amount of not so great options … please let me have a whole closet I get to have free access too!

I absolutely adore this game and I’ve played a few other companies attempts at island dating games, they simply do not compare. The character creation is awesome, body sizes, multiple faces, tons of hairstyles and skin colors, options to be any gender, tattoos, piercings and so much more. The characters you meet each have their own dialog and personalities. The clothes are always free and you can change them often. LGBTQ+ is highly represented and the game has someone who goes by They/Them.

I think they had been spying on a few Facebook groups to design a game that really appeals to their customers. I am super excited to see each episode!

My only complaint is not being able to choose eye color, height, and a bit more curvy character, but everything else is far is fab! Those wants are small in comparison to all we get.

I’m obsessed with this game honestly and i’m only upset that we have to wait for new episodes / chapters to drop but overall, i love the storylines, characters and various clothing, hairstyles and the SHADES OMG. I also like how this isn’t a pay to play type of game and pay for risky interactions. This game is truly fun, time consuming and it honestly shows you a little about yourself & what you want intimately. Definitely recommend!

So, I’ve tried to continue playing this game but I just can’t.. there are so many flaws. There is some great opportunities to grow for sure but right now it’s just not for me. This game
Is VERY GAY which is kinda a no for me. There should be options to go that way or not but it’s very forced in this game. You have to click to read every caption I feel like there needs to be a option to just let it keep playing and different speeds. I like the meter of good and naughty choices. Overall this is not much like the show .

This game is the game I’ve been waiting for!! No waiting for diamonds to make a choice that will change your whole story if you don’t spend. The ONLY thing I could suggest to make this game better, would be more customisation options. Like hair tones, more facial features to choose from, eye color, etc. Other than that, this game is absolutely a masterpiece!!😊

Amazing game! I came from Love Island the game like many people and Too Hot To Handle has everything we asked for. From being able to customize your character such as body types, sex, pronouns to even being able to have your choices matter without a cost! Not to mention the sizes of the chapters are great and the writing is good! Best game I’ve played! I don’t usually leave reviews but it was so good I had to!

I play A LOT of these types of games and as of now too hot to handle Netflix by far blows the rest out of the water. I will play and reply so I can try different routes and don’t feel like I am wasting money. Thank you for creating a game that anyone (provided you have Netflix and age appropriate) can play and enjoy and not have to spend a ton of money on clothes or the “right” choice.

I love this game so far. The customization is amazing, the characters are hot, the spicy scenes are actually sexy and the outfit choices are so cute. It doesn’t cost any extra money for gems to access bonus scenes or exclusive outfits. I can’t say enough good things about this game especially compared to similar games on the market. I really can’t wait for the rest of the episodes!!

The best game I’ve played that is a story mode with choices. It’s all free unlike others and you can keep playing without having to wait for more lives. I hope it doesn’t change into a paid game. I love it and I can’t wait until more game episodes come out so I can keep playing. 😊

If I could give this game more stars I would. The best part about this game is that I don’t have to pay for any stars or diamonds to get the best interaction because there is no stars or diamonds. If only every interactive game was made like this. When I’m playing the game it feels like I’m actually there and I love it!!

I LOVE this game! It’s the best choose your own story style game. In all the other ones, you have to save up so many tickets and diamonds to really enjoy the game. I love that you don’t have to do any of that on here because everything is free and no ads!! Truly a wonderful game.

i literally was wishing they’d make a game of this show after playing love island’s but THIS is SOOOOOOOO much better all the choices are free and its cheesy but not nearly as cheesy as love island my only complaint is that there arent more episodes out yet!! i just binged every single episode for the last like 4-5 hours!!

Absolutely in love with this game so far. Love island was a disappointment this season and this game is WAY better. The only thing I would really like is to be able to change our eye color. I’m glad we have different facial options but all the eyes are mostly dark. As a girl with brown eyes, I want to play my girl with blue or green 🤣 haha.

The ONLY note I have on this game is they need to have more MC customization options (in particular I mean the face) and allow us to go and change our avatar whenever we want. Other than that, it’s a perfect game. You won’t regret playing it

One of the very few story mobile games that’s very addicting and has AMAZING detail + sound effects. Not at all money hungry like many other apps and lets you have range of anything you like while playing (hopefully that doesn’t change, but if it does it’s not too pricey.) I’ve never seen a more detailed story game that not only lets you change your outfits/ hair but the other contestants as well so that’s fun! The accuracy from the show on Netflix to the game is phenomenal (from Lana to the different personalities is great!) I downloaded this yesterday and played all the available chapters the same day and have to wait for the next one lol. Literally the only “problem” I have is that i wish the other contestants would also have crushes/ lust for each other and not just pining after MC so it’s more realistic in a way. Other than that this is 10/10… or a 5 star review for me haha! Hopefully there would be a way to make a S2 for this game! Thanks for the hard work and amazing gameplay!

I never knew that Netflix did mobile games so when I searched up Too Hot To Handle on netflix and saw it, I immediately started playing. I AM OBSESSED. The story lines are crazy good and Theo 😏😏😏…. It’s almost like reading a good book but with animations. I love that you don’t have to use gems like those other games because we get to choose who we want to be with without making the dumbest decision just because we don’t have gems or diamonds. The only thing I would want changed is that others would show interest in each other. Like they all like my character and I want drama…so maybe someone goes for Theo or whoever someone chooses as their first choice while they play! There better be more than 1 season to this because I AM ON IT. I would 100% buy netflix over and over again just to play. I’ve already recommended this game to 10 different people who have watched and loved Too Hot To Handle. WONDROUS JOB you beautiful people!! Tell whoever made this game they’ve completed my life 😌😌

The moment I started playing this game, I knew I would be hooked. One of my favorite things about these types of games, Is designing my character and this game gives you so many options, from the hair to piercings. The other important thing I look for in role playing games, is the gameplay itself. I love the fact that there are literally so many options, and it doesn’t force you to only like or flirt with one or two charters in particular. This allows you to finish the game, and play it in a completely different way and make different choices when you decide to start over. And YOU DONT HAVE TO MAKE PURCHASES 🥹🥹 Fr though, the last time I enjoyed a game like this was Love Island ( only season one and two ). I was disappointed when that game fell off, but this game has set the bar high for roll playing. From the characters, to the cute outfits, this game is 10 out of 10. PLEASE make a season 2 of this. Thank you Netflix 🤗

This game is by far the best out of all the choices games I’ve played (Love Island, Episode, etc.). For this review though, I’m gonna specifically compare to Love Island.

The Story: The writing is so smooth in comparison to Love Island. It’s not immature and “out-of-touch” the way that the newest seasons of Love Island have been. It’s also nice that you’re the main love interest and have plenty of options to choose from. However, I do wish there was a little more drama (although I was pretty modest with my choices which could have effected this), and I wish there were more relationships forming amongst the rest of the group other than myself and Jada. I think there should also be more people coming in and getting kicked out. Also, I think it’s a bit weird that you can’t specify your sexual preferences and are being pursued by both genders.

The choices: Absolutely LOVE that you have free-range to choose whatever you want. Even the “special scenes” are completely free. It truly makes you feel that you’re in control of your character. Additionally, your choices DO matter, unlike in the newest Love Islands. I’ve only played through once, but I’m hopeful that different choices will lead to a much different story. I also enjoyed having control over my characters outfits (for free), including the hair and jewelry, and not getting berated for what I’m wearing.

Overall, the game is amazing.

love the diversity in hair, bodies, and im glad there was a male option. but the game kinda assumes that the mc is pansexual or whatever, and id rather have a sexuality option, and those im not interested in could just have the friend status. speaking of being friends, i was dissapointed when jada justin candace and carter werent romantic interests 😔speaking of justin, i thought his villain arc was weird. he didnt rlly seem like a red flag but he just became one later. also my original love interest just kinda disappeared near the end, and i was sad 😔 i tried playing bonus scenes to get the status higher which also didnt work, and the game is so long i dont wanna restart. im rlly excited for a season 2 if there will be one, and all i ask is sexuality, all characters being love interests, and bonus scenes effec relationships. okay yall are amazing and this game is very good and well made. 🌞 have a great day

I just started playing this game yesterday, and I already finish the different chapters and can’t wait for the next one. It’s very entertaining, detail and keep you on your toes. Plus unlike other interactive stories, you don’t have to buy options that would normally be classified as “premium choices”, which always your character to build a closer bond with the person you want to pair up with. Which is amazing, and it makes sense since you’re already playing for a membership with Netflix. Only downside is, just like other comments, I wish all the other islanders weren’t all crushing on the MC. It can be overwhelming sometimes. I wish they were able to crush on other people too and build relationships and not just be too keen on the MC, even other you made your choice about who you want. Fingers crossed for a season two!

Immediate 5 stars because there are no in app purchases and it makes my brain so happy. You don’t have to wait hours to play the next episode or spend money to make any choices at all and it is so refreshing after playing so many story apps that are just full of in app purchases that restrict your choices. the amount of times i have had to choose the ugliest outfit in existence for my character because all of the other outfits cost money. but on THTH i got to pick any outfit i wanted no cost. and you have free range of all of the choices. So so so happy with THTH and hopefully Netflix will make a season two and maybe even a love is blind game??? I feel like it could work so well choosing your person from inside the pods and then deciding whether to marry them or not at the end!

I like this game, better than any other interactive stories out there. No ads, no gems to spend. The only problems I have with this game is that it is the same story no matter who u choose and the characters don’t take a hint when u say you aren’t interested. I don’t want to read the same thing over and over again when I choose different characters. I want something different and the characters should take a hint when you aren’t interested. Oh one more thing, we should be able to choose if we want to be gay or not. Update: I forgot another thing. I wish your choices made a difference. For example: I chose run out and not take a shower with that person and yet apparently, the storyline is the same, saying I took a shower with that person when I didn’t. I don’t get why our choices don’t matter. I hope u can fix those issues.

I usually never spend the time out of my day to write reviews and this is actually the first review I’ve ever written. I’ve played a lot of different choice-matter games (love island, romance club, choices) literally everything you can imagine and this game has blown every single one out of the park! Every other game has been so money-hungry, the choices don’t even matter, and the story is completely terrible. This game offers an amazing MC customization with sooo much diversity and you can actually make choices without having to spend 300 gems to unlock it. The choices actually matter in the story and the story is just so perfect. Everything about this game has me hooked, I’m on my 5th play through.

I usually love story games like this, but this one is just SO MUCH BETTER than any story telling game I have played. I never write reviews but this game deserves one. I would give it a 10/5 if possible. It’s so fun because you actually get to pick out all your outfits without paying extra for anything. And the same thing goes for the activities!! You don’t have to pay extra for anything. Netflix you have outdone yourself this is seriously so fun! Please make more games like this and seasons! The one thing I would edit is to be able to actually select your preferences. Right now the game just makes every character obsessed with your character, where as I would prefer only to have the males and then be friends with the female characters.

I love that the game is free and it’s fun but it feels unfinished and boring. You have to flirt with every single character even if you don’t want to which forces you to be bisexual. There should be an option for your sexuality. Also it would make the game so much more interesting if you could reject, or anger, or make other players jealous. But instead all characters are incapable of harboring any negative emotion towards you. Without that it makes the game stale and unexciting. Lastly I really wish they didn’t completely eliminate Justin as a potential love interest. I had my eye on him from the start but I couldn’t do anything because he immediately got in a relationship with Jada which you aren’t able to interfere with. Even after their break up Justin was completely out of the picture and you couldn’t choose him or flirt with him. I haven’t finished playing, I’m hoping it changes, but so far the game is lackluster.

I have played many romance game apps. I enjoy them all, my favorite’s are Storypick and Romance Club. First app of Love Island (not so much the second). I play them often and invest some money in the games when I can. However this game, really won me over with the fact that I was able to link it with my Netflix account and that there are so many free options for your character’s style and how they interact with others. It feels good to play and I don’t feel frustrated that I can’t do what I want because you can. It’s all you. I hope this earns more players and positive reviews for the company and developers because I really hope to play more seasons in the future! Please! The art is also wonderful. This game, unlike many in this genre is not a money making scheme. You’re not paying for premium choices or outfits, you can sit back and enjoy the story for what it is.

The storyline is well written (nothing cringe) albeit somewhat predictable, the artwork is gorgeous (very similar to Tabou Stories, not surprised if it’s the same artist), and there’s flexibility on sex/body types. I’m a big fan of this otome genre and have picked up and put down many, spent hundreds if not over a thousand on premium choices or VIP stories. This is definitely one you shouldn’t skip.

Downsides? You cannot replay episodes, only seasons. If you’re focused on one love interest, sometimes you’re forced to take a scene with others because almost everyone is into you.

I love this game so much however I do have some suggestions. I wish it would give you the option to choose your sexuality at the beginning and let you out more information in about your character. I also with there was more than just one season with the same people. It would be super cool if there could be multiple seasons so you could have different stories and choose to change characters and find other connections. The hair styles are amazing and the outfits are gorgeous! It’s realistic and completely free which is awesome since so many other games make you pay gems or real money to choose spicier options. Love that there isn’t any adds and there aren’t any pop ups!

I love this idea of allowing us access to games through our Netflix accounts! To not have to make micro-transactions and get access to every option made this game simply so much better. Not to mention the game itself is so in-depth, the characters have true personality. I was shocked after my first play through to read that there was 27 different endings!?! So many different paths to be taken! I am on my second play though, and this time I am being an absolute menace and I am loving it as much as my first play through… Can’t wait to see how the ending is different this time. Not to mention the ability to skip scenes that are long if you are replaying!!! Genius game, would give an 11/5 stars if i could!!!

First of all let me put credit where it’s due Netflix you did an outstanding job with this game! One of the main reasons I fell in love with this game is not only the fact that you don’t need to spend any money on gems but also that there are many options and yes for the most part it does seem like all the attention is on your character but…other couples do start to form in the game. The second reason I love it is that ya know how when u read a good book that you can’t put down I can’t stop playing this game! I’m super excited about the fact that there will be a season 2. I like it. Manly because it gives old interactive games days before it became about getting money out of us. Everything cost diamonds these games now. Came into this thinking that it would be like that but it was nothing like that. I get to wear what I want and feel pretty all the time, I do what I want, and I can get anyone I want too! everyone in this game would hook up with me or date me. I feel like the bombshell I should have been while playing love island. I did not feel that attractive to the other characters like I do in this game. If they have another season, im for sure playing it. This is how these games should be! Take notes

First, the inclusion of multiple preference/relationship options is commendable, as well as representing people not commonly found in relationship games (non-binary/vitiligo/etc), but the game should allow the player to set a base ‘preference’ level, to prevent forced romantic interactions the player may not be interested in…

I’m sure gay players would have no more interest in relationships with the opposite sex than straight players would be for their same sex (bisexual and non-binary players would have the greatest pool of options here… ;) ) and would not impact game progress in any negative way

Overall a fun diversion if you can steer past the obvious “scripted” direction it takes, kind of ironic, a game that supposedly portrays an “unscripted” show is following a very tightly defined ‘script’…

Firstly, I am NOT bisexual. I am STRAIGHT. That’ll never ever change. Secondly, I absolutely positively refuse to even acknowledge ANYBODY who calls themselves “transgender” and has special pronouns that do not directly align with the gender they were born as. The fact that I don’t even want to acknowledge his or her existence means that even remotely considering to do anything romantic or sexual with one is ridiculous and completely out of the question. Thirdly, I never said I wanted to be friends with Jada. You’re so woke, it’s pathetic. She’s annoying, and I just LOOOOOVE how two White guys want her out of all of the other girls. And lastly, the only realistic character I like is the pink haired girl, Candace I think her name was. She was there to cause trouble but in woke liberalville, everyone is sunshine and rainbows. It’s BORING!!! If this didn’t come with a Netflix account (which my husband pays for, sadly), I wouldn’t even bother with this woke, boring GARBAGE. The ONLY reason I gave you TWO stars instead of one is because I’m honestly surprised everything is free. Knowing the world, and knowing y’all, it’s shocking.

i love everything about this game. i just discovered it and, while i don’t watch the show on netflix, i’m a huge fan of interactive games like this. i play choices, love island: the game, and occasionally tabou.

what i love so much about this game:

— there are no keys to read, which means no endless waiting 2-3 hours for them to refill.
— there are no gems, which means you have access to all options, outfits, hairstyles, etc. nothing is off limits!
— instead of gems, there are stars. there is nothing required to earn these stars, but reading. you earn stars as you read, and you use these stars to unlock bonus scenes with every other islander.

what i think developers could improve:

— make other islanders customizable - at least a few - not just the main character. i’d like the ability to customize a few love interests, and maybe a best friend.

— not critical, but there are a few typos here & there. otherwise, the writing & plot are close to perfection.

— i really feel bad for complaining, but it’d be nice to have more clothing options: daywear, swimwear, and nightwear. but again, NO BIGGIE, as i literally played this until 4am the morning after i discovered it.

wait, one more thing. i hated how i couldn’t romance justin in thth1!!! i feel like i’m the only one bc everyone hates his guts, but i was attracted to him most from the start! 😭 i fall so hard for bad boy characters EVERY TIME.

This game and it’s sequel are a waste of time. There is no way to choose your sexual preference so hopefully you’re ok with being bisexual because every single character on these games are bi, including you. Oh wait, there is a “pansexual” character in the game. They make it a point to let you know that. Lol. So you don’t technically know anyone else’s preferences but the game lets you know that everyone is interested in everyone. There are several scenarios where your forced to flirt with members of the opposite sex, they try and get you to date them, they make sexual innuendos constantly towards you. It’s all very weird and uncomfortable. About what I would expect from Netflix. Lastly, there really isn’t a whole lot of freedom to try and win over the people you want. Some things are just destined to be. There’s a BFF that you can’t seem to date. There’s also new people that come to the place a few days in and you can only mingle with specific ones with the story. So like, when Candace gets there there’s zero possibility of starting a fling with her. The game won’t let you. It pushes you to this other girl. It’s all very cheesy and very CA. Skip this one.

I have downloaded countless apps regarding story interactive games. Choices, Spirits, Whipsers, the tinder like games (it’s a match!), I’ve done it all. But I can say for this to free to exclusively Netflix users, it’s hands down the best interactive story. The story I would presume is just like the tv show. (I’ve never watched it but I get the gist of it) 10/10 experience. You get free choices, so many variations of skin tones, tattoos, accessories, piercings, hairstyles, body type, clothing, choices & etc! You can even replay episodes/or recap the whole season from start to finish, with multiple final story endings depending on who you get closest too throughout the season. You will not be disappointed. I did try to do the too hot to handle second season 2 but it became dull pretty fast. I might try it again with trying different choices.
