I downloaded StayFree for this exact feature. They showed on their ads, the capability of StayFree to completely block individual parts of apps like reels, stories and shorts by a press of a button. This isn’t possible and disappointed on what otherwise could be a great application.
Once terms are excepted it cannot be deleted
Dont say it’s for ages 4 and up when you have a rule stating it’s 18 and above
Android version has everything, from themes to keyword blocking to even avoid cheating settings. This iOS version feels like v1 in development. I can’t even access settings. I’m just presented with a dashboard. Very underwhelming especially since I love the android version
iOS people don’t get enough settings on the other hand my brother has android phone and he gets everything. I am very disappointed please fix this thing and let ios users also have the same settings
I have StayFree on my android phone and it generally works really well, but on my apple iPad it works not even half as good. I have features that I can use on my android like blocking Instagram and YouTube reels and shorts, but for some reason I can’t do that on my iPad. It also doesn’t work for making simple usage limits-I set a limit on an app for only a few minutes and I literally went 10 minutes past without it getting blocked. I can’t edit a usage limit without fully deleting it on my iPad, yet I can on my android. And I can’t PERMANENTLY block apps and websites, like I can on my phone…If you have an android, StayFree is great for you. Otherwise, don’t waste your time on it.
I tried to create windows during the day where I could use a few apps, but when I put more than 2 restriction zones, StayFree says it’s too restricting and won’t allow me to. I don’t get it, why can I not do this?
How do I copy a websites name from the “website” tab to add to the “usage limits” tab without reopening each website again
all the reviews i’ve seen look different that the version that downloaded for me and i don’t know what to do because i want to do in app blocking but i don’t know how to get to it
I loved StayFree with it’s ability to block certain features on social media on Android. Instagram Reels? Blocked, but I was still able to go on StayFree and communicate with people. On IOS, it doesn’t stand out and is like any other third-party blocking app, there’s nothing about this that sets this apart from other blocking apps.
