I paid for the no-ads version of this game, which I rarely do, because it was so much fun (and addictive!) to play. As you reach ever-higher levels, new features are introduced to make the game more challenging. Somewhere around level 500, however, there is a new kind of bubble that subtracts points if you hit it—not only directly, but also if you hit and destroy any bubble attached to it. Together with the lower number of bubbles you’re given to shoot with, this results in the need to obtain extra shots and auxiliary tools by watching ads, and totally destroys the fun.
Gone are the days when developers created engaging games that you could enjoy without being constantly bilked for more money. Sad to say I’ll be deleting this one.
