Neku is ok it has some nice creator tools, HOWEVER it’s a pay to use system, want a specific hairstyle cough up 5 bucks to afford the in game currency to get it, want to use a creator? Bang! Pay us a weekly subscription or else, then there’s the issue with rewards, you get rewarded for creating content and other things here nothing wrong with that right? Well they messed it up badly, want to claim a reward WATCH AN AD. There’s nothing amazing about this creation tool whatsoever it’s pretty meh and riffs off how picrew dose its layouts for its creator tools, I highly recommend using Picrew as its FREE and has a lot better creation tools made by actual people.

Basically i saw an add for Neku and it looked cute so i decided to install it. When I installed it my smile faded- It wasn’t that bad (yet) so I decided to try one of the templates on a pop up I got. I thought it looked cute till I looked at the items and probably more than half of them are paid with money. Not to mention that there is not really any black skin options- i know this cause i was gonna make a character for one of my dark skinned friends and saw there arent really “goodish” dark shades. Basically all im saying is go get Picrew if you dont want to have to pay for some stupid items. Thanks for reading lol

I do not recommend even downloading this because the address are fake. You get to color and draw I can color or draw. Just pick my design for me so I do not recommend downloading Neku. The ads are fake. Yeah the ads are fake and I didn’t even sign up. This is just taking up more storage so don’t even buy this purchase this like I’m dead serious if you purchase this, you won’t even be able to draw.

Every time I see you at I always know that creator who actually made it you guys didn’t make that that was someone else you shouldn’t be taking peoples credit. So I was just on ibisPaint X when I got an ad for this game. So I decided to look into it a bit, and it looked pretty similar to Picrew. I had watched the ad and at the end I saw something that wasn’t in the game. That was an avatar from a different app named ZEPETO. And not to mention the ad I was watching wasn’t even this app! I don’t get why you have to use other apps and games to promote your game if it’s not even yours. If it’s that hard for you guys to get downloads then maybe fix your game! You do not need to use other games and apps just to promote your game. Do you understand how pathetic it is to use other stuff that isn’t even yours on an ad that most people will probably see? Because I don’t think so. That’s just truly shows that your game is probably bad and that’s why you have to use other trending apps just for this thing to get downloads. And to be honest, it’s really hilarious just to think that your game is so bad that you need to use other games just for people to download it.

Edit: I’ve looked into the reviews and I’ve seen a lot of other people saying the same thing. I’ve also seen that this game is really pricey. No wonder you have to use other apps just to get downloads. It’s truly stupid that you make your game so pricey for something that isn’t even accurate to what the ads are. Listen to the reviews and fix your game or just delete the game from Neku Store.

Please I am trying to contact customer support because I need a refund for a purchase my child made.
Update: the free trial was supposed to end June 3rd and I was charged a whole 7 days later on June 10th when I seen the charge I immediately requested a refund as I need that money to pay for my living situation. I am a homeless mom of two and my child accidentally purchased this as she can not yet read. I am now having to sleep in my car with them because Neku didn’t respond or approve my refund. I really need my money back. $68 for something I can’t even access or use is unethical. Give me my money back!

I played this game only once and it does not look like the ad. It is a fake I do not recommend this. I know all of you who do you like it they say I’m wrong but I think it’s a fake and that you should not app ask you to pay just to play the game. It asked me to pay when I first did it but I press the X so I do not recommend this.

You cannot make a 3-D avatar and the 3-D already made by a great artist or some already posted that video and you know how I know that is because I always saw those videos during quarantine time Neku has to stop clicking people because obviously the ads are fake and they even show something from ZEPETO! How crazy is that

So this is a pretty good app, but you have to pay for almost everything! I don't get why we need to pay a weekly subscription just to get some stuff. Also, it does’t explain how to do things the way you do. And i saw an add for this, and it said that you can give glow ups to Disney princesses and stuff like that, but i don’t see that anywhere! And if it is there, it probably costs money!

You have to pay for just about everything and you can’t even save your creations (or if you can, I haven’t figured it out) Honestly, just look up Picrew. It’s a completely free website, easy to navigate, and just better in general.

As an artist, I thought I might look at the goofy app. It was just dumb and basically stealing art. The watermarks would be so easy to remove its idiotic. Neku is just no. I wouldn’t use Neku seriously. I was reveiwing it as a joke because apps like this give me the artist ick. Don’t download Neku. It’s just stealing art.

So when I first download this game, there’s nothing wrong with it as I was normal app we got to dress up characters and it was really fun. All my friends wanted this game. It was really really cool, but then I started getting more ads in my phone started becoming slower, so I went to my settings and looked at which app was giving me viruses and this app was making all these and making my phone slower so I don’t recommend getting Neku unless you’re OK with viruses on your phone or tablet or computer

Very good if u have no drawing skills and just want a OC made. But I wanted to draw and I didn’t know u needed to fill out a application. I thought it would just be simple questions like “how long have u been drawing” or things like that. But it asked for my location… I don’t feel safe when a app asks that, maybe it’s just me being overly paranoid and anxious. But I don’t like it. It also asked what websites I visit. And not to mention if u want more then a quarter of the oc items u gotta cough up money.

I was excited when I saw the ad for Neku, but that quickly faded when I actually opened it. Neku has little to no options for poc. The darker skin tones are poorly shaded and there aren’t any normal looking shades. The only skin tones for poc were either extremely dark or shades of grey. There aren’t any different options for textured hair either. It isn’t that hard to learn how to drawing people of color correctly.

I got this game because it looked pretty fun because my friend had it, but when I made a character and I clicked done, it said I had to do the free trial and I was really confused, because Neku said it was free and it had in app purchases. Also, the whole format is confusing but I think it is pretty fun and there are a lot of options to choose from.

It had a lot of options, but after I created my first one I saved it and began to scroll afterwards. Whilst I was scrolling I clicked one and had realized that Neku is very laggy and much slow. Nothing would load and I couldn’t create any avatar I wanted. There is a lot of bugs even tho I bought pro. I expected way more, instead I deleted my tabs to see if it would work then, it didn’t. Mind you I have the newest phone so it’s definitely not my phone, FIX YOUR APP !!

I’ve have Neku for a moment now and there’s never any new avatar options. There’s also a ton of ads and in-app purchases. It’s okay if you want 2 or 3 personal avatars but that’s probably all you’ll get.

I loved how you get to make your own avatar post it and like see people stuff that they make but also the thing that they just don’t like how it lied in the ad it said that you could change your favorite character from like a show movie but all that live because all you could do is there is change your avatars and that and post and see what other people posted

It was great until I couldn’t use the templates anymore, I’m not able to watch ads, and honestly Neku kinda like bugged out so now I can only reuse the templates I already used. But what’s the fun with that? Not much. Deleting Neku.

I find Neku very cute and easy to use , but it is very racist. I cannot find a way to make avatars for my black friends. There are no hair options for African Americans, and the skin tone options look ashy or are too light. This issue strikes me as quite disturbing and very inconsiderate of the creators to not include black representation in Neku.

The reason why I say the game is “Okay” and 4 stars is because you have to pay for half the stuff…And also because the add I saw is NOTHING like the game in the add it shows you can draw on the characters but in reality you can’t draw on the characters instead you have to pick what you like then it goes onto your character…If there is anything to improve I would put a mode in settings that has you choose if you would like to draw on the characters or go with the standard version… My over all rating is 4 stars

But when you download it, it different and there are things that you have to buy and do ads for it. Do not believe the ad. I downloaded it and it was OK. but I think it’s still a really good game. Download it. You can’t pick the colors like in the ad. There’s like these pictures shows you what you can create. this game is fun, but some of the ads are not true. It does not let you dress up your favorite Disney character. You have to dress up a mannequin. It’s still fun. But right now it’s not working and it won’t let me dress anything. It’s saying I have to get the VIP but I don’t want the VIP I want to read it 4 1/2 but you can only read it 1 2 3 4 or 5 it’s really fun when it works and I love this game. I just got it today and it’s already super fun.

I love Neku very much, the only things I would change in my options is unlimited space for the ocs. When I started I had to watch an add to finish my forth oc. I thought that was unfair that I had to watch an add just to create an oc but other than that I believe Neku is a great app for everyone to enjoy when bored. 🤭

So when I was scrolling through my feed, I saw I video I’ve recognized before, and I thought it wasn’t a add until I saw the “install” button. I was shocked to see a stolen video on an ad, AND it didn’t even have credits nor any watermark from the original BECAUSE THEY EDITED IT OUT! You have probably got here from the adds. They are COMPLETELY wrong, they say you can customize princesses and such. I got Neku so excited then I opened it thinking this was for princesses. Then I saw it. The worst thing you can see first thing in a app. It said try 30 day trial for free. WRONG ADVERTISEMENT!!! Unless you wanna make anime characters then please don’t waste your money. Sorry for complaining.

Okay the only reason i voted 5 stars is so people can see this. I downloaded it and it was actually a great game. But you can only make like 4 avatars before you have to buy pro to make any more. So unless you’re willing to make 4 free avatars and then waste your money, this game is for you. Otherwise, come find a better oc creator with me.
