An Addicting Game with Serious (but fixable) Flaws

I’ve enjoyed playing this game for what it is. It’s fun and entertaining, the artwork is gorgeous, the storyline is interesting, and there is tons of content. This game is a work of art! As AVGN would say, however, what I don’t like is the actual “game” part. First of all, the difficulty is not well-balanced at all. One moment you’ll have a battle so easy you can do it without breaking a sweat, and the very next your entire party gets one-shotted in the first couple of turns. I’m not exaggerating either. There is not a good build-up in terms of leveling. Secondly, if your character dies, their outfit gets destroyed. So you have to spend a ton of materials to repair their outfit, and you don’t get nearly enough materials to maintain all of your characters’ needs! Third, the way the class system is set up is honestly kinda pointless. You are given all kinds of inconsequential stats that really don’t do anything you think they’d do. The only way to win a battle is to set up a team that exceeds the recommended power level. If you’re even slightly below it, you get wrecked and don’t have a fighting chance no matter who is in your party. So to summarize, this game is highly addictive, but has numerous gameplay problems that need to be addressed. Otherwise, don’t expect to get far in this game without paying a crapload of money.

Great game and getting better

Been playing this for almost a year now and the game is really good and keeps getting better. They’ve been adding new stuff over the last few months and it has made the game much better.

My advice to new players: It is worth your time to invest your gems into more training slots to greatly increase your materials gained and passive xp. Between events, you can stockpile money, materials, and boost the xp and bonds of your favorite girls.

To increase the amount of exchange materials for golden doggos or those little mint things for increasing bonds it is cheaper and more efficient to spend your creation tickets on weapons/ accessories 10 pull which nets you purple and/or gold items that can be sold (whatever you aren’t using right away) for exchange stones to fully upgrade your 4 star characters and their bonds which can then train at higher levels for more free materials and gold.

Once you get into the swing of things, you can easily max out your characters, weapons, accessories, while earning a ton of gold and materials for running full events.

Lastly, find a high level friend that can solo most stages for you so that you can quickly stockpile creation manuals and gems until your own team is strong enough. This method is what I used to get through early and mid game and now, I’ve got a lot of fully maxed characters and gear and never have issues with completing new events and earning all the limited event items.

AMAZING GAME !

This game is amazing and without the ticket system, I can freely do whatever I want in the game. The animations put a nice touch to the game as it is more interactive than the visual novel. There are a lot of things you can do too so you can stay occupied while playing. The visual novel was great too but the only thing that was holding back was the tickets; but now without, I can play this game nonstop. The amount of story and chapters there are in this game is incredible too and they keep making more in the future so everyone can stay entertained with the new content. All I just want to say is that I’ve been waiting for this game ever since the reveal and now it’s here. I’m truly astounded and happy that I’m able to have fun to play this remarkable game and I hope you can too. I also want to give credit to the developers and the community for creating this game a one-and-only masterpiece of a mobile game.

Economy’s A Mess

Imagine a gacha system where you have to wait an hour to see the results of your pull. Then generally the lower the time the lower rarity of the pull. You see 30-40 minutes, you’re getting crap. Then you can either use a ticket or a wait before “crafting another outfit”.

Oh and after like 3 battles a character’s outfit will break and you have to mend it which takes a bunch of resources they don’t give you nearly enough of. Want to grind for something on autobattle? Nope, gotta fix their clothes otherwise the weakest of enemies will one shot them. So then you’re stuck sending one of the characters on an hour long material training mission to get a minuscule fraction of the resources you need, and you can only do one material mission at a time. Either that or pay money for them. What an asinine system. I stopped playing because my main and backup team’s outfits were broken so I couldn’t do any missions unless I wanted to hop on every hour to resend someone on the one material training mission you get so I could hopefully get the resources I need after a week or two.

The MC is annoying as all hell with the worst personality, and one of the girls even talks like a toddler. Gross.

A great change of pace from the visual novel.

I came from playing moe ninja girls: visual novel and that was a really good game with its interesting story and characters. It’s Clear that this rpg version has had just as much thought and effort put into it with the introduction of new characters and animations. I’m excited to see where the story line is taken and it’s also nice to feel like I’m apart of the action with battles and how they flow with the story. Over all I have been enjoying the game so far, and the only reason I’ve rated it 4 stars is because I wish that the formation screen focused more on the individual outfits where I can equip certain gear on my characters and deploy them as a team with all their gear already on when entering battle. Instead of having to guess what kind of gear and formations I’ll need and hoping that I have a preset that fits the battles circumstances. Other then that I highly recommend this game and hope to see long time support just like the visual novel it care from.

Gintama, but Ninja Girls

As a long-time player of the original Moé Ninja Girls, I’m happy for this reboot/expansion of the title. Sure, it’s a anime ATB mobile game (which holds up better than most in that it has no stamina bar, go nutz); but, it’s got a comfy polish to how it looks and plays. Gameplay aside, it’s the story that sets this one apart.

To whomever is on the localization team: kudos for making the funniest fleshed-out cast of characters I’ve seen in comparison to most anime [see review title]. A renegade ninja that wants to live a normal high school life alongside quirky girls? How do they make it work so well? Why is Yamabuki best girl? How many anime references/memes can possibly fit into one game?

There are so many things I can say about the years worth of dialogue and material that’ll gradually be carried over from the original (i.e. a LOT), but this can only be experienced firsthand. You will have fun.

I think anime mobile games can be a good way for those that want to introduce characters and ideas without the limits an actual 12 episode/5 hour anime brings. As someone who plays Bandori GBP, I’ve seen how much devotion can be put into a single franchise on this type of platform. This is one of the good ones.

Great game just one issue

Overall it’s a great game however it’s kinda difficult trying to keep up with the pace. The levels in season 1 quickly got very difficult and increasing the outfit, gear, support gear, and affection levels takes a long time and a lot of resources. It felt like a jump from maybe recommended 50k power to straight 100k. I’m hoping you will add new ways to get resources in the near future to give everyone an easier time in at least the first season :)

Pretty good

It’s pretty good, it has all of the features of those usual ya ha games and has pretty good mechanics. I like how there are a ginormous variety of stories. My only problem with it is how complicated it is for a new player. Once you create an account you are bombarded with decisions and dialogue, once you get through that there’s the introduction to the game and menu. The menu is a little complicated, there are a bunch of buttons and it definitely takes getting used to and knowing what each one does. But a good game overall. I really don’t like the mending system though, when you first start out you get absolutely destroyed and don’t have fabric to keep fixing outfits. Outfits are so easy to break and they should really make battles easier and outfits more durable.

Losing More Than I Am Getting

I really want to like this game but there is something wrong with it. If you think about it, if your luck is pretty good you would love this game. Although if your one of the people like me who’s luck can’t even find a three leaf clover, then your in the same boat as me.

I cannot do ANYTHING if it weren’t for the friend system. Right now as it stand if it’s 40-30 it’s Gonna be a two star meaning you wasted all your time just for a trash pick. If it’s an hour and above your in for a treat. So far I only have 3 three stars only because of the event and 2 lucky pulls. The rest are two stars. The only reason I am on Season 1 Chapter 7 is because of the friend system. If I go on the main quest I’d have to repair at least 2 people. If I don’t the next enemy will literally one tap them. Every time I repair I am losing more than I am getting. I even struggle to complete Genin missions.

Kind of Frustrating.

As much as I love the Moe! ninja world and it’s characters, the game has some issues. First off, the difficulty spike is way to jarring while leveling up seems to take years to do. I went from doing fine on story missions by a long shot to getting one shot by every enemy in the game.
The second problem (I don’t know if it is just for me) is that after a while my game won’t allow me to do any quests. It just freezes at the quest start menu and does nothing. Basically meaning I can no longer do quests anymore. I would also complain about not having enough tickets to craft outfits, but I guess it’s just the way things are with this game.
I want to love this game, but right now, it’s kind of frustrating to okay and actually kind of unplayable for me.

The game needs fixing

The games super fun and it was a blessing to get rid of the slots for creations. But with this new update it’s fine down the drain. The training is stupid. I don’t know how to get the advanced (purple or blue) research papers cause the only training quests there are is the 1 hour ones. And the material limit in your sacred stones and what not is way to low. Please fix this! I’ve enjoyed this game from launch and I would hate to stop playing it just cause of some lousy update

The Gem stones and Stuff thats primaly Used

I loved the Game as soon as i opened it up and i was ready for adventure but im alraed on the 4th chapter of season 1 and im low on gems already. It would be amazing if the whole Gem thing wasnt a thing even though thats one way to give the Devs Money. But the Pricing of gems for every Part of the chapter is quite nice but it hurts to see that it takes a BUNCH of Gems to Mend your outfits back together... Otherwise love the game so far and i hope the devs see this.

Suggestions

I love this game so much more than the original game, but I have some issues. Can you make the Soul Meter like regenerate like every hour or so, since the battles are getting increasingly harder and like you can’t win a battle unless you use a Soul. Also, can you add a feature where you can get materials easily without having to pay with gems? It would make the game more enjoyable! Please consider adding these features!

Love the game, however...

I love the game, but I wish there was a easier way to get fabric. It seems all my costumes need 400 fabric to fix, but I never really have spare fabric. I wish training could yield more or an ad viewing option that could give like 100 fabric each video. I know you want us to use money and get gems for supplies, but I just want to heal my costumes up and play more.

Amazing game but 1 think

The game is amazing I love the characters and how they react in the story really good stuff and I love the gameplay it’s just so much fun each time I play, but one issue I have is the outfit health and how we have to use a lot of materials to fix them I’m barely even finishing the quest I recommend changing the price to redux the outsfits pls and thank u
