Not worth ur time

I was gonna give this game 2 stars because while it’s a merge with good animations and the story was okay, but I’ve reconsidered to a 1 star. The game is so grindy of the same item. Also, it started off with a fire, then mentioned a poisoning, and now some gambling? Ive paid attention to all the story chats. Where is all this new info coming from? It’s making it super unenjoyable and I’ve deleted this game. We should have a journal compiling the story as each chat continues or each day. Also a situation with development was just the last straw. No physical evidence on their claim to show and very poor customer service. They obviously just want your money. Look at the items, they all cost jewels. And getting jewels in the game is so rare, so you’d basically have to buy them unless you’re extremely patient. Want to play an actually good game? Play Merge Mansion or Love & Pies. L&P is even more similar to this game and it’s actually good. Their items cost jewels but you start off with a good base of items and actual completable tasks that you dont have to run through ur jewels. Save ur time and money, play something else.

Seriously a cash cow game. They make their money easily off of you and the paid advertisements. I only made it to level 13, while spending my money. Yes my fault, the point is. I only got to that level by spending money. The requests of the dinners are so ridiculously hard to make, and the game started feeling redundant. Basically you get no where fast. Even while spending money. Then they allow you to get extra energy by advertising. So they are making that money too. The they start encouraging you to play their other games for rewards. So basically, you will spend money there too. I honestly did not pay much attention to the storyline for the most part, however when I did, I was even more put off. What a waste of time and money. If you like repetitive game play this may be for you. And let me assure you, IT IS REDUNDANTLY REPETITIVE. And a cash cow. Technically a F2P game. However, if you really want to advance in a reasonable way. Then you must P2P.
Update- got the typical cookie cutter response. It was as always seriously unhelpful. My review will remain at -0.
Save your time and money. Unless you have excessive time to play into their other social media contests and hope you win anything. Fact remains. No matter how much energy you get. The game is still 2 redundant to get anywhere to be considered satisfying.
Shopping pass is impossible!!

by Andeey.
Found this game via an ad from another game and downloaded it. Pretty good at first, but then after a few levels, every item takes 20 steps to make and the generators take forever on a time delay. Worse, I paid money for the shopping pass, and I’m barely to level 18 (of 36) and each higher level takes thousands of points to unlock! It’s literally impossible to get through the pass with the energy levels, time, and items needed to merge. The extra games (like recent food truck fire) eat up the energy for very little return. It’s honestly a good game, but the developers need to be a little more reasonable on rewards, energy banks, and number of merges to get items completed to keep people engaged. I’ve spent three days trying to make this stupid Dalmatian dog, and if I ever get done, it’s only for a small amount of coins and gems. I’m likely uninstalling and certainly not paying more real money to buy gems or energy with so little return on the fun. The worse part is you can buy energy with gems, but it keeps going up. First 100 is 10 gems, then 20, then 40, then 80! You “wait out” the game and it might give an add to watch for 15 energy (which is like 4 merges). Ugh, I’m getting angry just thinking about how much better they could have made this by being reasonable.
Not the game in the ad, P2(actually)P

The story and game are completely different than the ad about the homeless woman with the children making choices about their lives and trying to stay alive and using a merge game to fix their home to survive. The game is a merge game to make restaurant items for customers to fix up a restaurant. There are no choices about which way you want the story to go and it has nothing to do with these ads about people shivering in the cold or trying to survive. You can only play for a short time before hitting a wall where you have to purchase more “energy” to make items to merge. Otherwise you close the game after a few moves and come back later. I’ve only had it a few days and it’s already to the point that I can’t complete a single item before I need to pay for more energy, so I’m definitely going to delete now. If they were smarter, the developers would give you more to get you hooked and see a reason to buy. But I guess this works for their purpose, which is getting enough people to give them money that they don’t need to make a game you can actually play.
Throttled right off the bat and not iPad friendly.

Usually a game lets you advance pretty far before they start throwing roadblocks to get you to buy (which is fine, developers need to eat too) but this one throttles you almost immediately. Not enough energy and customers want the “big items” after the first few purchases. I’ve only been playing maybe an hour total and I’m at the point where I can’t sell to one customer without running out of energy. Also, this game is not iPad friendly. You must hold your iPad vertically, which wears my hands out because most stands (including mine) are made to set your iPad horizontally. One more thing that annoys me. This is another game that does not match the ads. I have not run across one puzzle where you have to build a window, paint a wall, make a bed, or adopt a child. It’s all “click this item using energy, make food, sell to customer.” An example is in the ads they make you think the little red head girl is an orphan that you have to pick whether you keep or ignore her but actually she’s your daughter that’s with you the whole time. The only good thing I have to say about the game is you find all this out rather quickly so you don’t feel like you need to spend money on a game you’re going to uninstall.
Limited Play Time and False Advertising

When you actually download and play Gossip Harbor, it is NOTHING like how it is advertised, which is misleading. In the beginning you can get some decent playtime in by using energy to merge items and advance the game's mystery storyline. The storyline has quite a few grammatical errors, but most players probably won't notice. What is noticeable, however, is as you advance in the game (and after updates), orders start to cost waaaay more energy and you earn fewer rewards for each order when it takes an immense amount energy to fulfill those orders. I only get five minutes of gameplay now before I run out of energy. To get more energy players have to pay with real money, and all those micro transactions really add up. We're talking paying over $200 for a phone game when you could have purchased at least three Nintendo Switch games instead and had endless hours of challenging fun. The mini games featured on this game are similar to many other free games like "Royal Match" (also ad-free), but the difference is you can't play more than five minutes and advance in the game at a decent rate unless you pay for energy. It's incredibly frustrating.
Good Game, But Money Hungry

Update: the game made achieving objectives higher. Their solution is to 4xs the generators. What that means, less playing time and spend more money. Smart move on their part, but from a consumer, unfair. I believe the company should make a profit, but now they are money hungry. PLAY THIS GAME IN FREE MODE. DO NOT PAY AND LET US FORCE THEM TO RESPECT THE CONSUMER. ******************************************* Update: I have spent money on this game. But, lately, they have put the objectives so high, it is almost impossible to achieve. Further, when buying more energy, they increase each time to a point of unrealistic expectations. I enjoy this game, but, they are getting to a point where I need to delete them and find another game. ******************************************* I enjoyed this game and have spent money on this game, but they got greedy, to the point of those of us spending money on the game have to pay more. If just looking to download this game, it will be fun, but once start to spend money on this game, the algorithms will say you want to spend more money and the objectives will become harder, forcing you to spend more money. Don’t, resist and make the game to be respectful to us who enjoy the gam, willing to spend money on the game, but do not take advantage of us.

GossipHarbor is a money grab.

I am constantly bombared with the same two ads for this game and I am sick and tired of it. It shows clips of 'gameplay' that aren't even in the game. Also, in one of the ads, it says there are 17,096 ratings. This is not true at all. There are only about less than 6,000 reviews. Personally, I think that's a bit cheap to do that. Relating to the actually game itself, it barely gives you any energy to complete tasks and the wait for more energy is obnoxiously long. But they never forget to advertise spending money for more energy. Or just spending money in general. On the homepage of the game, there are a couple giant offers sitting there blinking at you, waiting for you to purchase them. And everytime I open the game, it shows 3 different screens of offers. I will never spend money on this cheap game. It's incredibly overpriced and 100% not worth it.
Fun at first

This game is a classic merge and advance through the story game. You get 100 “moves” at a time and at first it’s easy to advance, but eventually the challenge get harder. This is fine and expected. I also am one to spend a bit of money on a game. After all, the creators and support staff deserve a salary, I hate ads, and it brings me more joy than a crappy Starbucks coffee. However, this game is more cash hungry than others I’ve played. The rewards for advancing levels are stingy for the time needed to get there. And there are multiple producers you need to “create” (using up moves) just to get whatever they produce (using up more moves) that then disappear- example is the seafood plate. You can use all 100 “moves” to not even make one item requested in the game (example- need multiple seafood plates to make the lobster tail dish; using way more moves than 100). The love triangle story line is also dragging already…and I’m not even to level 40. Bottom line message to creators: I’d play more, spend more money, and download more of your games if you rewarded me better for playing.
I like the game. I don’t mind spending a few dollars on a game I like either. I also enjoy spending a bit of time on games I enjoy as well. The story is fun, but I do dislike there is never enough energy to at the least get one maxed product of a certain item. I wish the energy was increased to 200 instead of 100. No … the 200 would probably not give you a maxed out items.. but it would allow us to play a bit more and feel like it isn’t taking an hour for energy to reload to use it again to not even be half way finished working towards an item. Also! The options like the dog house or the orange tree only dropping less then 10 items before there is a cool down is so sad. I have been working forever it feels trying to get this Dalmatian during my evening down time and I just wanna give up on it. I will change my rating if the game makes some updates to give us more energy and offers less time for cool downs on those “take forever items” or dishes put way more items before it initiates a cool down.
Oh well.. next?

So I played until day 21 level 26 or something around those… and deleted the game. The long grind to get items was annoying but tolerable cause it is what it is… but they changed the entire storyline after I’ve been playing for a very long time they completely scrap that story from the game and do a different story with no rhyme or reason and no hey to catch you up here … when I asked in customer support about it they just brushed me off with the same generic response of thanks for your input. We are making adjustments on the storyline. So that was it for me… not playing a game that apparently didn’t have its own identity figured out before releasing.
- loooooooong item trains - long waits for new energy - no customer care - changing the entire story (story I was playing has nothing to do with new story and no catch up to speed) - long waits to get items to make things to get stuff to make orders… yeah you have to do trains for those too they just don’t give you the stuff to do that with often - generic responses in any contact with developer company because their players don’t matter -random ratio is off. If you need something expect double wait times or just hoard what you can. - money hungry. To avoid a wait please pay rubies which you rarely get for free so spend money to buy them so you can try to enjoy our game before we leave you confused on the floor about what’s even going on.
Excuse me while I go play something else.
It could be way better

I have been playing this game for a couple weeks now. And I'm not sure if i will continue. The game is fun but you go through energy so quickly and the items people are requesting take forever to merge. Its been like 10 days and i still haven't made the stupid dog. You already have limitations with energy then they place more limitations like the orange tree only gives you a certain amount of oranges each time, before the timer block is on. You then have to wait hours to get more oranges. It sometimes takes days to get one order done. My guess is the creators want people spending money to be able to play longer. I can literally play for 2-3 minutes and be done until my energy restores in several hours. All in all Merge Country is way better.
It’s alright.

It’s a cute enough merge game. I feel like I’ve tried every merge game on GossipHarbor store at this point, and like someone else mentioned I’m pretty picky with them. If you’re thinking of downloading, here’s a rundown.
Pros: cute graphics, you get a good amount of energy to start with, no ads unless you watch them, the storyline isn’t bad. I usually couldn’t care less about storylines so that last one is a plus.
Cons: the merge lines are so unbelievably long, causing you to use an insane amount of energy to get a lot of the very early game items required, energy regenerates very slowly and takes a LOT of gems if you want to regenerate.
My biggest issue is pretty much the same complaint that almost every merge game has — you download it, you play for about 15-20 mins, you get stuck with no energy and waiting for your items to regenerate for a long time. Which then forces you to either wait for a few hours for everything to regenerate again, or spend real money. It’s just an okay game. Very, very similar to the Love and Pies one. If you like that, you’ll probably like this one.
No hate to the devs, it’s a well developed game with great graphics. Maybe just give people the option to watch some ads and give like 30-50 energy so they don’t get bored and uninstall instead of trying to wait for their energy to come back. People have short attention spans nowadays, like me. Or make the merge lines a little shorter. Both would be nice. But y’know, you do you!
Fun but a bit annoying

by Equuscycle
I enjoy this for the most part, even though the storyline is a bit ridiculous and I can only play it for about 10 minutes before running out of energy because the orders are almost all impossible to fill in 1 try as you advance, but I really get annoyed at the side events that are offered to help you gain prizes. One day I decided I really wanted to finish a side event before it expired and I wound up spending $40 on additional energy and gems, but it was impossible to complete because after I reached level 2 (out of 3 levels) every fish caught was a duplicate, for which I received a measly 10 coins. So now I absolutely refuse to spend money on these events. Once the very first order to fulfill a side event would have required a minimum of 600 and possibly as much as 1,000 energy, since I needed a complicated potato dish and the cart gave me over 100 energy in bread before it gave me even 1 sliced potato. And besides the potato dish I needed a shell that would have required 64 energy to get. There were less than 2 hours to fill that first order, so needless to say I didn’t even attempt to do that event. If you don’t mind spending money every time you play in order to get more than 10-15 minutes game play every 3-4 hours, then this is a fun game.
Edit: I may have spoke too soon about the energy and gem costs. Further in it ended up being just the same as any other. Sad.
This one follows the same formula of merge games you probably already enjoy. Decoration, cute story line, cafe… BUT this one actually lets you play for a good little bit before you run out of energy. Even then you have opportunities to earn them in game and they aren’t asking for a large number either. Maybe 1 gem or 2. You easily get those already in the game without spending real money. For that reason I’ll actually spend my money to buy things from this game, as crazy as that sounds. It is very refreshing to have one of these games not be a huge cash grab. Not everyone has $10 to spend every day loading energy. I support that. There will be other people who feel the same way about this game. I hope devs are reading this and keep the game that way because I will continue to support you all for doing this and thank you.

I have tried several merge games and this is one of two that I really enjoy enough to log into daily to play. Visually, the play board is nice and the story is not horrible and is easy to skip through if you want to. However, it gets extremely frustrating to work towards one order for several weeks because most sources will release 6-10 items then need to recharge for an hour. I play to relax at night or on a lunch break so I’m not going to log on again an hour later when the source is reloaded. At level 22 I’m often not able to fill any orders because all 4-5 customer require items from the very limited sources. I purchased a promo package that awards rare items for filling orders and I can’t ever fulfill the daily challenge because there aren’t enough orders that don’t require extremely limited items (like level 10 shells that take 2 weeks to fill). It’s also frustrating to have the play board constantly cluttered with rare items that will take weeks to get the pieces to merge to create a finished source (beach baskets for example) I have started looking for other games to switch to because of this but otherwise this could have been a super fun game.
Addicting but hard to advance without spending money
2024-10-05
by Bonbons23685775
First off, the ads for Gossip Harbor are NOT consistent with the game. But nonetheless, Gossip Harbor is an incredibly addicting and low stress game. But as you advance in the game, it gets harder and harder to continue without spending money. You use “energy” to match items which build up to the final item that the customer is asking for. You can only accumulate a maximum of 100 energy, and you get 1 energy every 2 minutes. So it takes 200 minutes (over 3 hours) to accumulate all that. As you level up, the items become more “complicated.” For example, you need two cups of tea to make a glass of iced tea. You need two glasses of iced tea to make a mason jar of iced tea. And you need two mason jars of iced tea to make the final pitcher of iced tea. That means you need 40 energy to make the pitcher. But some items require more iterations, so you would need easily 200 or more energy. You can’t move forward in the game until you make enough customer items for coins. So then there are packs you can pay for energy and jewels (which buy you energy or items so you don’t need to use energy). The packs are usually between $1-4, so not much at first. But you can easily spend a large amount in a week depending on how impatient you are.
Game is pretty great except..

Except for when they have the card collection event because their algorithm doesn’t work correctly. They keep trying to explain it to me as if I don’t understand even though I provide them with plenty of proof to show that it’s consuming 101 stars EVEN though I have enough cards with stars to make it an even 100 stars to receive a gift. It’s frustrating when you have enough to get 3 gifts yet you can’t because of this issue. I wish I could provide screenshots to show everyone EXACTLY what I mean. The story also started off great but as you progress further and further the attention to detail really falls off. Constant grammar issues as well as missing context for certain scenes. But don’t worry they just want you to tell them exactly what’s wrong with it instead of doing their job and fixing/ figuring it out themselves, even though you provide them with screen shots of these issues. Where is the quality assurance with this game?? Really frustrated with this because it’s a bunch of little things that pile up over time. I just want them to actually care about GossipHarbor and show it in their work and caring for the consumers who play this game by providing bug fixes instead of adding a new theme. Send out a gift even to all players who’ve been playing this game as a way of saying sorry about this bug instead of gaslighting their clients into thinking they don’t know how to add numbers together.
Fun game

I want to give this 5 star review but I am disappointed with some things. I was buying energy and the jewels to help me get further, at first was good I felt I got my moneys worth then as I progressed it took more and more energy to complete the task. Full energy is 100, it take 2 hours for energy to refill, I just used (14 hours) and 700 energy and still have not been able to complete a task making a big round sandwich. Fulfilling the contest is really hard I was able to finish one at beginning then again it takes a lot of energy to complete these missions! Hey it is a game it supposed to challenging, I get that! After awhile playing without progress can get boring. I suggest sooner energy refills and more rewards of jewels to help along the way. Last I am sad to say I had to stop buying from the game as I kept getting double charged. Apple did reimburse me when I reported it, but it kept happening so I stopped. This is a very addicting game and lots of fun for awhile.
I don’t hate this game, but I don’t love it. It’s your basic merge game with a similar story to Love & Pies. It’s only about 10-15 mins of game play then you have to wait for energy. They added a new feature of “bingo” which I like, but merging for things takes forever to get simple items so I never get far with the lollipops or the money for prizes mini games.
The big issue I have with it is that the story or names must have been changed because they get the husband and the dad’s name mixed up. They keep saying Cole did or didn’t do all these things when it should be Dominic. It was very confusing until I realized the developers were mixing up the names and I had not missed part of the story. To me, that is very lazy.
Average Merge Game / Annoying Story
2024-10-13
by Asphodel 34
I play a lot of merge games and this one is just average. It started out ok. The board and graphics are nice, you could fill a number of orders on the 100 energy you get and could level up pretty consistently. As would be expected the orders get more complex as you progress, but I believe the amount of product needed to fill orders becomes increasingly impossible to do in a reasonable amount of time. The limited energy, highly complex orders, the meager rewards for each filled order makes leveling up excruciatingly long unless you spend money. I’m not opposed to spending a little but you don’t get much for what you spend compared to other games. In regards to the storyline - that is just ridiculous and annoying. The lead charter is completely unappealing- whiny, dim-witted and wishy washy. How can she be in a love triangle? Supposedly has great detective skills but can’t pick up on obvious clues. I just fast forward and skip. Other merge games have better stories that are actually interesting.

by Yas_realitea
It would be a fun game, however it’s ridiculously expensive and/or time consuming to actually make progress. I have little patience & I am lucky to have disposable income that I was able to spend on this game but that’s not the reality for everyone. I’m only at level 17 & after spending about $40ish I don’t plan to keep buying jewels just to make minimal progress in a reasonable time. I don’t mind waiting a while but it takes HOURS for the energy to reload or you have to use jewels to get more energy. Also, a lot of the starting items just take up space on the board, they don’t become relevant until way later. Going to delete this & try some of the similar suggestions in the other reviews.
Everything Takes Too Long
2024-10-05
by JesterJoyce
I can see why the one person said she spoke too soon. This game started out pretty good, but as you go on, everything takes ENTIRELY TOO LONG to make. If you have 100 energy, it’s gone in literally, 2 minutes, just trying to make a coffee item or a sandwich. The coffee pots and baskets always spit out the same two pieces (very randomly, the food will spit out a bread), therefore, leaving you to make the same cup combinations 80 times just to get to the items further down the line of that series. Then you have to wait hours for energy rebuild. You can hardly finish anything in a day unless you purchase more coins or gems. The board isn’t that big and doesn’t hold much stuff, and then the game has a lot of those spaces pre-filled and you can’t move or use them until you build a piece yourself first. This game could be so much fun with a few changes.
Cole is ruining this game for me.

by Katiewayisgay
I used to love this game!! However, the sudden and unexplained shift in the storyline, the board that’s far too small, and the requests that take far too long are ruining it. I also am frustrated that the SECOND I started spending the occasional $1-$5 on the game, free energy options disappeared. Now, let’s get to my gripes about the storyline. When you suddenly change a storyline months after the game comes out, you need to explain the new one to the players. I have absolutely no idea what’s going on anymore. The old storyline and the new one do not coincide at all. Also, Cole is absolutely insufferable and I would love the option to just dump him for good. Also, most of the decorations are terrible and don’t go well together in the slightest. I used to love this game, and I want to continue to love it so badly, but it’s just become such a hot mess that is borderline unplayable due to the small board and difficult orders.
Hi! I’ve had this game for a while, and it’s enjoyable to play, but only for around 15mins per use. The game has a concept of earning coins to pay to continue to the next mission. In order to get coins, you must play a mini-game and merge items to make dishes and serve people. Here’s where I find the issue with Gossip Harbor, the game has an icon that is a lightning bolt which stands for your energy. In order to produce an ingredient or item, you must use up a lighting bolt, therefore constantly using energy. When your energy is out, and you can no longer continue with the mini-game without paying real cash, you may be able to speak to one or two people to complete the next task, but then what? It takes a minute to be able to produce an ingredient leaving me waiting over an hour to be able to do anything in the game again. I don’t understand. Why would the developers limit people’s playing time on their game? Gossip Harbor does indeed have no ads, which is beneficial, but at what cost is it worth if you are only playing the game for 15mins?
Silly Story but Fun if you don’t spend too much Money

by Kimberly Shopper
In the beginning, gaining energy and gems was easy. I thought too easy, and as the game progressed, those gains are harder to achieve. I’m having fun with decorating the sets, especially after learning you can hold your finger on a chosen item and have the ability to change it. I will pay for the VIP Pass because you get nice rewards. I have never reached the end, though. I lost my head and spent a bit of money to win an event. I was on the last segment with almost 2 days to go, but suddenly the accrual of points (coming at a slow but steady pace) just stopped, then picked up again when there was 6 hours left to go….not enough time to begin to win. I learned that I will stick to the occasional VIP Pass. The waste of money hurt, and I won’t do that ever again. Otherwise, I like this game. It becomes slow over time because it’s harder to fill orders, but it’s interesting to see the silly story unfold and decorate this little world.
It’s fun but I have complaints

I got this game about a month ago and I have to admit that I’m loving it, it has a complex but I simple story and it’s not impossible. But on thing I will say is your ads are fake, there’s a lot of different games like this though so I won’t criticize that much I would just appreciate it if you would be honest with your ads. I also appreciate how it’s not one of those pay to win games, you get 100 energy and you ahead to wait a minute for each, seems fair to me, you can buy some with gems to and you can actually buy gems. But the thing that impresses me the most is that you can actually get a fair amount of gems for free, and the characters are really likable. It’s pretty much a good game but I jus have one more complaint. The decoration style is good but it’s for one certain color and sometimes it could look tacky, now there is ways to make it look good but that’s all I wanted to say, it still is a really good game so I suggest you check it out
It’s a fun game, just takes a long time to advance

by 15cass
It really is a fun game. I’ve been playing it for about a month now, and only once have I paid for gems(I rarely buy from free games bc I believe free should be free) but I did to get a order done with which is why this game can become frustrating quickly when you advance further. It’s a shame that the game advances the orders but not your lives so you get a quarter way through a single order before your out of your life and takes you over a day to finish it, and you spend ten minutes or less playing before you can’t play anymore and I refuse to spend a few dollars a day just to keep playing. This is probably how the game makes their money but if you want people to keep playing the game something has to give. Soon enough I’m going to find a new game to play since I can’t fully enjoy it anymore but I’m still trying to give it a chance since it is fun.

Update: I am still enjoying the merge part of the game but I have to say that the storyline is getting annoying. There are so many grammar issues and not to mention whoever is writing the storyline keeps mixing things up. First it was Quinn’s dad who poisoned his clients, and then suddenly he isn’t even mentioned anymore and it switches to being the ex-husband (who was actually a fiancé in the earlier chapters) who was being investigated for the poisoning. Who knows what is going on at this point? But it detracts from the game in my opinion.
I really enjoy this game. There aren’t annoying ads, there is a storyline that is interesting and fun merges. The only downside to this game is when you work to fill orders to collect coins and all you get is a conversation from it. 150 coins for a conversation is way to much. Most of the time when it takes that many coins there is no action to be done. Those high coin transactions should be saved for actions not conversations.
Gameplay Is Addictive, But Storyline Is the Weakness

I'm enjoying playing this much more than I'd thought I could enjoy a merge-type game. It's fun strategizing what to work on and I'm enjoying the game even more with the western side event, because it gives me the opportunity to earn more goodies and play for more time each day. I hope when that is over, they replace it with another similar one!
I also think the amount of ads is reasonable for a free game.
What I'm not wild about at all is the storyline, which is kind of dumb and kind of a mess. But what bitters me even more it's that it's centered on a character (Quinn) I don't like at all. She's very immature/judgemental and not a great mom (for example, she tells her daughter she's too busy to play with her, which is fine, but after promising to play with her later, when she finally has some free time, she chooses to go on a date, instead). I basically find her annoying most of the time.
Love this game, but…

Love this game. One of my favorite mergining game. Problem is I wish there are more opportunities to get more energy, ‘cause they ran out WAY too fast given how many steps to get to the fancy coffee or the fancy sandwich. Honestly, I don’t mind if I need to watch quite a bit of ads just to get more energy - also please don’t just give like 15 energy, make it 30 or even 50. You get revenues from us watching ads, we have more fun playing this. ‘Cause, that’s too little. Also, it’d be great if there are other ways to get that energy box. Chances are too little. Either I have to level up or I’ll have to wait till 5pm PT to use 10 gem to purchase that energy box. I spent quite a bit real money into this game, yay to the developers, but not so much for myself that I might delete the game soon as much as I want to keep on playing due to lack of motivation and running out of energy too FAST :(
A Fun Game So Far

I’ve only been playing for a day, as part of playing Merge Fables. I think it’s rather fun, but the energy used is too much, and it’s too hard to come by. As it is now, being a new player, I can only play 20 minutes or so until I’m busted. That being said, I’ll say these things about gameplay—the merging part of the game is smooth and, unlike many of these merge games, doesn’t fill the board with so many things you don’t need right then.
The dialogue and the storyline part of the game is kinda lame—there was a fire that destroyed a diner which belonged to our heroine’s father who has disappeared. So, she sets out to avoid the two “hot and available” dudes who want to do her, and thus the party begins. I can’t wait to see which one gets the girl.
I’ll keep playing for awhile, so I can earn credit for my other game, but I’d only keep playing if there’s some relief where the energy is concerned.
Where do they come from, how should I know?

Over all great game, I love that the game is simple and there is an interesting story to always look forward too.
The only two problems I have is that I run out of energy so fast without many free opportunities to get more. Yes you can get them from crates after watching ads but that’s about it.
The other problem is that I see costumers with new stuff that I don’t know how to make and clicking on the items doesn’t help me figure out that I need in order to make it. I’m was stuck on how to get salmon for a long time and ended up having to look it up online, but the game is to new for to be any real info or tips. :/

I just downloaded and started playing this game today! It's fun , slightly puzzling & a bit fascinating ! Although I have no game play or technical issues so far, I am a little unsatisfied with the way the amount of rubies necessary to purchase energy increases so drastically each trade, but yet the amount of rubies that are gifted or rewarded (even when merged multiple times) are minimal compared to rubies necessary for trading for energy and certain other items... in my opinion as a overall satisfied player (so far) maybe you guys can make the trade amount 25 rubies for 100 energy up to 4x a day or something! But over all I enjoy the game so far , just not fond of the constant increase in rubies for energy exchange price !
The game is definitely fun, but to a point. It was super easy in the beginning however by the time you get to level 24, the orders are far and few between. I’m at a point where I only have four orders and all of them are rechargeable ones and I keep getting those over and over. My board is practically full because of all the energy spent making coffee and bread items that aren’t being asked for. But you can’t complete fries or tea orders without them! I’m not getting rid of them in fear they will eventually be needed?! Who knows. Also what are the fly, fishing rod and goggles for? I have no idea if I should sell them. There needs to be a help or questions site for this game. So, it can be an enjoyable time passer but for how long?
Fun game

Pros: The game is fun and simple to play. No advertisements other than the ones you chose to watch to gain elements to advance/level up.
Cons: it takes a while to gain coins to complete the events to level up once you’re a h a certain level. The experience points should match so what to how many coins it took to get there. I.e. 190 coins only gives you 19 experience points. It took a lot to get those coins and you get nothing in return. Also, it takes forever to build up the generators and there is no where to store what is given to you without using diamonds and the amount needed for one storage place is insane. I would consider changing this or make it a prize to win a space every now and then. Also, the board is a little small. Consider adding two more rows. Winning the prizes to build the generators up takes a little long too. I know you can purchase in the game but if took less time I think people would be more inclined to buy. The energy runs out too fast trying to complete the orders. I think that ties into how and what the generators make at each level.
All in all it’s a great time killer. Minor changes and you will gain more players and fans!
Fun!

Updated review: Thanks for the response. I very much enjoy the story and the gameplay. If you enjoy some calm merging and a cute story, I definitely recommend this one. I’ve played quite a few merge games and this one is quite enjoyable. I’m leaving my previous review in case anyone else comes across the same issue and wants to see how to turn the feature off.
There was a new update where the items produce higher level things but consume more energy. I do not want to spend 4 energy on one click. But there is no way to turn that off that I see, and the game “tutorial” doesn’t allow you to not follow the tutorial instructions. So you have no choice but to end up spending 4 energy to get one item. I enjoyed spending 10-15 minutes tapping and merging. Now I spend less than 5 because the energy is gone so fat. It’s a cute game with a cute story line, and I’ll update my review if they change this new feature to allow for you to turn it off and on.
Best game ever!!!!

I have been playing this game for a couple months now, and i never get bored of it. Most merge games make you watch so many ads, or they just take forever. This one gives you good amount of energy at first and really only takes a hour or so to get 100 energy again which you can go eat or clean or anything. You could watch a quick ad for some energy or spend your gems, which isn’t a issue because you do get a good amount of gems here and there. The challenges are so fun and pretty easy, and the variety of things you can merge and create is nice. altogether the game is great, but the only downside is the decoration. It’s very tacky and hard to kind of match all around the cafe, but it doesn’t bother me as much. the story line is amazing and i don’t mind spending money on this game to get a few more goodies. The game is fun and unique. definitely worth the time i have put into it!!! i’m addicted to it, the more you play the more stuff you unlock and reveal.
My Favorite Merge Game

I’ve been around the block with merge games. I’ve played everything from Merge Mansion to smaller merge games. This one has a completely different feel. The storyline is interesting (I usually ignore the storyline on other games because they are so boring.) I love the characters and their interactions. I’ve seen people complain about how long it takes to get what you need. Honestly, it isn’t that bad. You can normally get what you need in about 2 energy refills. On another merge game I was trying to get an object for a month straight due to how rare the item was. This game isn't that bad in that aspect. I personally like the challenge of getting items. Energy does go down fast, but there are chances to watch an ad or spend diamonds for a refill. Diamonds are pretty easy to get compared to other merge games. Overall, I don’t think you could go wrong by giving Gossip Harbor a try!
It’s good but I have a complaint. Please read this!!!

It’s good but might recommend something. First off, I would like to say that this game is really good if you are bored. But I saw this game on an ad, and it was very deceiving because the ad looked way different than what I saw on the game. Please STOP 🛑 putting fake ads and deceiving people because it’s getting really boring. And also, in the ad, it shows a homeless girl and gets adopted by a poor woman. They go to a house and the person/hand controlling how to fix the house or controlling what they decide to do to fix the house always makes the wrong choice which gets on my nerves. WHY WOULD YOU CHOOSE TAPE THAN A DOOR TO PREVENT THE COLD?! Stupidity. So back to the game. Why do I have to wait 2 minutes just to get 1 more energy?! That’s not fair?!?! I would recommend you change this to at least 15-20 seconds 5 seconds is even the best. That’s what makes the games fun!!!!!!! Goodbye.

This is one of the few games that will last a lifetime on my phone. I really enjoy the story, the actual gameplay and the graphics. The side missions and challenges are fun and not overly difficult to the point where you don’t even want to participate. I really hope to see more games like this from the developer as I prefer the merge board style like this!
There are definitely a few times when it feels like you’re stuck and tempted to make a purchase to push through but it’s not necessary. Just need some patience 😁 I’m not a big spender in games and I’m usually irritated by offers presented and the value placed on them. However, this game does a good job at providing bundles with value for the money so when I have taken advantage of one I’m satisfied with my purchase and happy to contribute to further developments in the game.

I love playing mobile games, but of course any free games either comes with ads or makes progress impossible without paying for extra power ups or lives. With this game your “life” adds 1 every two minutes so when you come back from work or a chore you constantly are able to do progress bit by bit. I do spend money for the monthly passes on this game exc but it’s the only add free game that I love to come back to constantly for months now to pass a bit of time. I think the feeling of not having specific levels to go through but rather different stories and conversations and decorations makes it feel a lot less pressure. 10/10 game no pressure just a good game if you like organizing, decorating, and completing orders throughout your day. If you were to spend no money on this game I feel like you can still progress unlike many other games. Genuinely love it! Worth it and when I buy extras it feels good too.

I love this game so much so I decided to download it on my phone after using it on my iPad first. Then my data was linked and I lost my progress on my iPad (which I was further ahead in levels). I contacted costumer service through GossipHarbor and told them my problem and they worked with me through everything and were very kind and explained what I could do on my end. For 6 days they worked with me to get my data back and they were able to fix it and I was so grateful! I highly recommend this game to everyone and I love how they care about the people who play their game and I want to personally thank the person who helped me. (If you see this lol thank you) I will be a lifelong player! Also best merge game I have ever played. I can’t wait to see how you continue to make this game great!
Enjoying it so far

The game is very F2P friendly, and you can spend a decent amount of time playing before running out of energy. Though it’s not always easy to get to the final stage of the events, you’re still able to pick up some swag along the way. I also like how you can adjust your decorations, FOR FREE, after you’ve made your initial choice. This is a huge step forward for these types of games.
My only complaint is around the seasonal events that allow you to get the custom decorations for the holidays. It doesn’t seem possible to obtain all of the decorations without paying to extend the event time at the end. Even with grinding daily on the last two events, I still ran out of time. If you’re not a serious collector then this may not be a deal breaker for you.
I was surprised to find that this game is actually quite fun. I’ve played my fair share of merge games and so I’ve become a little picky w them so I didn’t expect much. The game itself is adorable and there’s this mystery that’s trying to be solved as you complete tasks which is honestly quite clever. It’s not flooded w ads like some other merge games and starts u off w a significant amount of energy. I haven’t had it for long tho so I might find something that rlly annoys me later on but so far so good. The only real complaint I do have is the decorations you are given to choose from are (in my opinion) tacky, each of them are designed to fit a certain color scheme like green or blue or orange/red (I think those are the colors) which means if there’s a style of table u like there’s no way for it to work w other things you’ve chosen bc everything is a different color. I’m only on the cafe part right now and honestly I’m struggling to decorate things bc everything is a specific color. the designs of things aren’t the greatest either but that ofc is just my opinion. So in conclusion a cute little merge mystery game, something to try out it rlly helps occupy ur time when ur bored or waiting, just don’t get ur hopes up on the decorations
Wonderful and relaxing game

I enjoy playing this game in my free time when I need to unwind after a long day of work. I’ve caught myself dozing off while playing the game a time or two. Not too difficult and something I could mindlessly play for hours (or rather until I run out of energy). The story line is unique and nothing like any of the other merge games I’ve played and it is interesting enough to keep me wanting to continue to play. I love the investigative style and can’t to unlock each new story scene. I highly suggest trying this game out if you like merge games and enjoy a good story.

I love both this and love and pies. These are my favorite two merge games now. I don’t know why but I like them more then other games it just works so much better and it’s fun. Maybe because you trying to reach a goal for the orders and then you still get to earn something to upgrade the restaurant or home. I wish you could offer the energy boxes for gold or gems in both games though cause when you run out the only way to get any is to buy a package with energy and you can’t buy them all day but even if u wanted to u can’t because your only allowed one. This would have people playing more and needed more so it would be a smart thing to do. Either way thanks for the great game it’s the best and fun.
Honestly a nice little game

I like the aspects of the game, the game flow is the same as all the other ‘merge’ games, nothing new there, and even energy recharge, gems are the same. I don’t hate on the game for the costs of things. It’s a free game and the devs need to get paid some how. I don’t like people complaining about energy, not enough it, how long it takes to refill, it’s not designed to be a game you spend all day on. I have 5 games I rotate through, and it gives me enough of a diversion. They don’t force ads on you, (tho a space with the option to watch ads would be cool with me), which I find very refreshing. No one likes ads shoved down their throat. Down load it and have fun, just keep in mind it’s free and be happy with it.
Some mistakes but overall a fun game.

by I Like This Game It Soo Fun :D
This game was pretty fun to play. What surprised me the most was that it didn’t have many add. It’s very detailed and the story is very interesting.😁👍 HOWEVER it seems that the energy runs out VERY VERY quickly each ingredient takes 1 energy and I usually depend on energy potions so I get a little of energy. Each energy potion is just 40 for me and what’s enough for a whole day is 200+ so I can’t serve that many people meaning that I can’t continue the story and I have to wait a while to recharge my energy and since I’m impatient (one of my weaknesses) I can’t really handle the waiting since I need 200+ I have to wait 200+ minutes which is 3 hours I get really stressed and since this is one of my main games right now (in fact my only one) I don’t know what to do and I can’t install more games because my storage is low. 😭Overall A VERY FUN GAME!! 🤩🤌 just needs a tiny bit to become perfect. All I’m asking for is more energy for 1 minutes at least 3 is enough. ☺️🫰
I really enjoy this game, especially being able to make decisions as to how to decorate the cafe & other rooms in the game even if it’s something as simple as picking a shower head. Orders can be hard where they might take a day or so to complete with all the merging & energy required; however, it doesn’t feel impossible when you see those orders either. My only complaint with the game is how difficult the festive areas are to fully achieve during the special events. It seems like no matter how many gems I spend or ads I watch to get extra energy, I only manage to get about half of the options before the event’s time runs out. In the other Microfun game Seaside Escape, I’m able to complete these events in the first couple days. Still looking forward to other merge games you might put out in the future!
