Design Studio: Craft Space Reviews

I started using my cricut maker with design space on my ipad and I pay for yearly subscription and I used to love it until now. I am getting into sublimation and need to print larger designs and have to use canva because cricut does not allow the cuts but also there is a new beta ersion of desktop design space that can print the sixe I need. It is not available for ipad only available on desk top. I try to downlown a design space and rather than one I find there are like 20 or more!!!!!
all charging more money and still no BETA version/ I am exptemely upset and if I cannot get help soon I am cancelling mus criciut subscription and using sillouette or any other materials and programs that are not cricit and I WILL TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THIS TOO SO THEY DO NOT BUY CRICUT AGAIN!!!!! fix it and help me now!!!!

I thinking that Its official site of cricket design space, but it was a fake with this impression that it would help me create high-quality designs and aid in my crafting needs. I was also enticed to purchase a one-year membership. However, to my disappointment, the product was not up to the standard advertised. I could not use it for any of my crafting needs as it did not function properly, and I could not access the support I needed to resolve my issues.

DesignStudio is not intuitive, It does not say it is not meant for a MAC laptop, the tutorial is not helpful. There is no sound or subtitles, just a mouse moving all over the screen and I dont even know what it is trying to accomplish. Why is this different than DesignStudio on my phone? it took me a while to figure that part out. I have no idea how to design something and then have access to it on my cricut app on my phone that actually talks to my cricut. TERRIBLE APP

There's an issue with the resizing and moving of objects when typing in the size or coordinators, it doesn't alter it correctly. Trying to move something to y 10 and it ends up at 136!

I bought a cricuit air2 several years ago for $300 and all I want to do is print out a simple line of text. Can't find a way to do it without getting roped into subscribing at a high monthly rate. soooo disappointing.

brand new user. thought i could do everything from an ipad - apparently i was wrong after trying for an hour. now I have loaded multiple apps on my new imac. I cannot get any sound at all to play on tutorials. nor can I get the tutorials to expand to a full size. this is NOT customer friendly. I reserve the right to change my score but so far, l o u s y!!

First, this is NOT CRICUT - it is a 3rd party app. I got scammed into paying for lifetime subscription & DesignStudio doesn't even work. I cannot search or scroll - if it isn't on the home screen, it isn't coming up. Sent an email to support and received NO RESPONSE! Tried using the link in DesignStudio store and it doesn't work. Note they have a phone number listed with a digit missing.

Some cute designs… but why I’m the world can’t I find a search bar anywhere? It’s frustrating to have to look through all of the options. Using this on my iPhone.

Some cute designs, but lack of search feature makes DesignStudio useless unless you need something in a specific category already on the main menu. Frustrating!

Got a free trial on my ipad. Signed into my laptop. I am being charged $30 for 2 devices! They are completely different layouts on each device. Not only that, I was supposed to be on a free trial. I emailed customer service last week. Still waiting to hear back. I called as well. Was supposed to be fun. I am not having any...

I purchased this program and it has not extra cutout than the ones that were available for free. No search bar, nothing. Cannot even find out how to cancel this program.

I've found using the Cricut Design Space Studio difficult to use.

Terrible user interface. Dont waste your time, get something else.

Image import does not work (M1 mac).
Can't select font (at least was not able to find a way to choose font installed on the system).

I tried to download Cricut Deisgn Space and somehow got linked to this through DesignStudio store. I put in my card information in for a 3 day trial and there is no where for me to cancel my subscription or anything. This is a scam. The phone number listed is fake. No way to cancel!!!!

Like everything else in in this world, MOST stuff is pieced and priced requiring extra money. It's like being charged seperatly for condiments on on your already purchased burger.

I have an older circut and I can't figure out how to find my own content. I've been trying for hours and get all kinds of errors even thought I am following instructions. SO FRUSTRATING!

I already have a subscription - it won't give me an option to enter the information. In stead I have to use touch id which charged me again. Not impressed!

Developer doesn’t respond, DesignStudio doesn’t work after purchase. Instead request’s additional payment

It’s not all that easy to use. I couldn’t find any way to get back to what I was working on.

The mobile version of Design Space is AWFUL. Clunky interface, not intuitive ways to select items and worst of all it crashes every other time I get to the screen where you can rearrange things on the mat.

I’ve had to uninstall and reinstall DesignStudio multiple times and am having the same issue. Each time I have to go and rearrange the graphics on the mat again, and hope that it doesnt freeze on a loading screen so that I can get to the point where I can actually cut my design.

As someone who is a graphic designer and knows what a software for graphics should perform like, this is awful user experience.

To top it off there are no 3rd party software that can plug into the Cricut machine itself, to operate it outside of Design Space.

My advice to the developers at Cricut — either allow apps from 3rd party developers to run your product or do something about the terrible UX of your software.

just sad that the capabilities are inferior to the phone version. less options, less design tools, even compared to pro versions on both. How can a desk top version be so bad?
