Ads. i just got 3 ads within 2 seconds of game play. when i pulled a new deal, when i ran out of moves, and when i lost. Second issue I am not sure the game is playing with dealt piles it feels like it generates the unseen stacks or tweaks them in game play as the number of times ive been dealt the same card for most of the revealed cards feels like a rule based reveal with some random chance than a purely random draw. update: i downloaded another version of this game and realised this version. of the game is optimised to make you watch more ads. its not a true game in the sense that it will show cards that will result in you having to watch ads to backtrack.

This isn’t even a game honestly. It’s just a bunch of ads with a few interactive bits of what is supposed to be the game sprinkled in every once in a while. The amount of ads is ridiculous. Not to mention that if you can play this ad-riddled game, most of the “random deal” hands seem to set you up for failure with all the cards you actually need being at the very top, or they get covered by kings when you’re down to the last card in the stack. It seems like when you are able to play what they call a game, it’s one of the worst versions of solitaire that’s ever been made.

The game is ok but there are way too many ads. Ads every so many moves. Not only between rounds. I couldn’t really get into it to see if it’s worth keeping and getting it without ads. I don’t mind spending a couple dollars on a game if I’m enjoying it but it would be nice to be able to enjoy it in the first place without so many game interruptions. Deleting and looking for another one.

Listen, I never write reviews…you hear me!? But before I deleted SpiderSolitaire, I made it my BUSINESS to write this review because I love the game…absolutely love the game 🙌🏾 but the way it constantly pause the game for ads is ridiculous. I’m not one to purchase SpiderSolitaire to avoid ads…they usually doesn’t bother me, but SpiderSolitaire has WAYYY too many or it’s always an inconvenience. I’m deleting this version and hopefully downloading one with less interruptions…geez!

Is it really necessary to run ads after every other play and then make it so difficult to get past them to continue playing. I enjoy the game but dont see the need to play the ads. It certainly doesn’t make me want to get any of those apps.
There is no way to skip the ads within 5 seconds or at any point. The ads don’t even give you an exit until X appears. As I mentioned before I understand the need for ads. But, really????? do they need to run after every other play. That is excessive and annoying. Also now the screen freezes at times and won’t let you move the cards.

Got SpiderSolitaire cause i was curious about spider solitaire and it came up on an ad. I ended up liking the game but the advertisements were absolutely incessant. I’ve played games that had annoying ads before but this was like another level. Nothing wrong with the game, but my train of thought kept getting interrupted in the middle of a game, multiple times. Let me emphasize, i probably watched 4 ads per game. That’s insane. So i am deleting is and trying a new one.

I’ve played this game a lot, and once in a while there are times where when the stacks get just a bit too long, the cards can get stuck behind the restart, undo and hint buttons.

It makes for a very frustrating game when you should be able to make a move that could finish it all up quickly, but it’s just out of reach because the way the game is coded, that section of the screen is visible but does not allow interaction.

Ideally the game would be much better if the devs found a way to completely separate the UI from the field you can interact with, and/or give an option to scroll down or scrunch the cards when the stacks start to get too long

Until the recent addition of the joker option, I would’ve given this game five stars. I’ve played a lot of Spider Solitaire games, and this has been my favorite. But the Joker is ruining this game for me.

One of the things I’ve liked about this game is that you can earn three chances to undo your last move by watching one ad. You could use an “undo” if you made a bad move and were about to lose the game — you could undo it and make a different play that would allow you to keep playing and maybe even win the game.

But now if you make a move that has you stuck, the Joker appears immediately, giving you no chance to use an “undo.” Once the Joker pops up, your only options are to watch an ad to get one Joker card and try to use it to keep playing, or choose “Go to results,” which ends your game.

When they first added the joker, I thought it might be OK, because I assumed that it would function as a wildcard. Unfortunately, it doesn’t. You can use it to make some moves, but it won’t allow you to move a column of cards that has a joker in the middle. So the Joker can only help you in a very limited way, which often will not be enough to allow you to win. That’s why I hate the Joker.

I love this game! There is one feature I’d wish they’d add. When you no longer have any moves and the game ends, I wish there was an option to undo your last move to see if you can keep going. Not only have I had several moves I could try before my game gets ended with no moves, but I have also mis-clicked on stacks and my game has ended.

I enjoy this game a lot. I’ve been playing it for a couple of years now. So what I’m about to explain has a rare chance of happening as this has only happened to me once. But I’ve built up a long stack of cards, and the stack got so long that the movable cards actually go off the screen and behind the ads. So know I literally can’t go any further and I have to quit my game unfortunately. I hope this gets fixed and overall this a great game. The ads are a little much. But I think that if they got rid of the ads at the beginning of a game or when you first continue a game, it would be a lot better.

When i run out of moves i wish the game didn’t auto end, there are several times i’d like to go back and click undo because I could try another solution. i understand why it’s automatically but i would like an option to go back or undo my last move. then this game would be a 10/10

I’ve been playing this game for a while but some recent change has made SpiderSolitaire stop whatever is playing in the background on my phone. I have all the in app settings set to silent and it still stops my podcast or music. This isn’t associated with the ads which I mostly don’t mind as SpiderSolitaire needs support.

i love this game, it’s the perfect way to pass time.
i have to agree with one of the other reviews. i wish i could undo my last move when a game ends, sometimes the game really is over, but i’ve misclicked a few times and ended my game when i didn’t mean to, it gets really annoying.
the second issue, there are so. many. ads.
i don’t mind the ads really, but i wish the ads you watch to get rewinds and hints counted as your mid play ads, and sometimes your hint/rewind ads don’t even work. i watched the rewind ads three times today, and it worked that last time, then immediately gave me another ad when i moved a card. gets really annoying.

The daily is always fun and the challenge of other games is tough. It would be much more enjoyable if I could have a landscape type layout of the cards like you used to make available.

The ads are a LOT, but the game can’t exist if they don’t have them and it works good without ads on airplane mode too. The game is fun, and the ads really show what the game in which makes me so happy because I hate all the fake weird games. And also, unlike other games, it stops you when you have no more moves you could do. Other games rarely stop so u can’t tell if your mind ding something or if you need to start a new game. This game is really fun and totally suggest it. Although, if you ever want to, could you maybe add decorations or something? I don’t know absolutely not necessary but the game style kinda basic.

Can't undo last move. Game over! No chance to fix it. SO aggravating. Developer says they are aware of it but have no timeline for a fix. Whatever. Don't buy the game until they allow undo on last move!

The best thing about it is it gives you a little challenge here so really, no matter what it gives you something to do takes your mind or something like that but she have sports game that you want to win so we’re like a competition so to me it’s like it’s something that gets my mind off my game my sport, something like that like a backhand springs. I need something to take my mind off and it’s great, so yeah, the spy Riley Erin is the best by.

Hello! I’m proud to announce that I enjoy both of your Khondlike and Spider Solitaire games. Though I do hate the fact that there was constant ads left and right whenever I either play another deck of cards or when I finish a descending set, but other that that, I really do appreciate you putting together Solitaire games that made me become a solitaire fan! Please when you get the chance, please do more of Solitaire games like this to keep the Solitaire movement going! Thank you!

I play this game every single night. And I mean EVERY night. Even with my brightness all the way down they don’t have any themes or wallpapers to make it less bright. It bothers my boyfriend when we go to bed. I’m a stay at home mom to an infant so I really don’t exactly have a bed time. I would be amazing or have a dark mode for the game or a background that’s dark with the card faces dark as well. Other than that the game is great. I’m an avid phone game player so the ads don’t bother me but there is a good amount but not where they bombard you with them plus most ads you can play or they’re super short.

I personally love this game. Playing this game helps pass time faster. I’m the person who doesn’t like ads but likes to play games, this game can be played on airplane mode which won’t give you ads!
