The ad I got that made me download was like- “ have you ever seen little kids playing makeover games and wanted to play them too!? Well here’s a makeoVer game for adults! Except in this one you actually have to do the work you actually have to blend the makeup, and pull the lashes, and put them on..etc and showed this” so I downloaded -wandering why merge was in the name-and it’s nothing like the ad I got said. It’s worse then the kids ones. Because in the kids ones you get to do stuff.. in this one you merge stuff and then when your merge is complete you get 10 coins to go - clean face- you click to pay to clean face and it literally has a whole animation cut scene that just cleans the face for you.. then you merge again.. this is the total opposite of the ad I got that made me download.

This game has so much ads!! It’s like it doesn’t want you to play 😤 ads for everything you need and for random times!! So annoying

At this point I expect ads for mobile games to be deceitful but I just have to wonder why? It must be for ad revenue, otherwise I can’t comprehend selling someone a game that is nothing like the game you advertised. And if it is for ad revenue, wouldn’t you rather create a game that people actually want to play so you can retain more users and feed us more ads, or get more people to buy the ad-free version of your product?

Anyways long story short this game is extremely boring. If you like winning things rly easily this is a good fit for you. But if you’re here like I was bc of the ads, prepare to be disappointed.

The game is nothing like the ads. It’s a merge game. If I wanted to play a merge game I would’ve downloaded it. It showed an ad as if it’s a simulation game.

First of all I would like the say i’ve been playing this game for many months now, almost every day. But seriously, where did the gems go??! not being able to receive diamonds during gameplay was a very bad update and makes it way harder to enjoy playing. Also, the new season update of the game board is terrible! It makes the game look old and outdated. Updates are supposed to make your game more in style and trendy/newer looking but this does the exact opposite. Please go back to the old style of the game and I’m sure it’ll make much more of your players not quit. Please take this into consideration!!

I came across one of you guy’s ad when I was scrolling through TikTok, and it was painfully ignorant and border the lines of racist. It starts off with a model/character getting her hair (which is noticeably thick/ thicker compared to a finer hair strand) combed through. The narrator then talks about how “I had this one client come in with her hair greasy like she was ready to fry some chicken.” …What?? “And she had the nerve to ask me to get her hair braided, I don’t specialize in that area but the braids came out “Fire as Fawk” (The ad is riddled in terrible misuse of aave, which is a vernacular most commonly used by the African American Community and sounds absolutely garbage coming from those who don’t use the language, which makes it glaringly obvious that you all are not.) I don’t know if outrage marketing is a new strategy, but it makes me not want to give the game ANY attention. I just so happened to have time to leave a negative review. Then you all had the audacity to shut the comments off because you all knew it was inappropriate and yet the commercial is still in rotation. That’s a shame and you all should know better.

It is totally false advertisement I have been playing for a month and I haven’t done any of the things that it shows in the advertisement👎🏻

I’m in the same boat as many other reviewers, I’ve played daily for almost a year but this new update is so frustrating. The interface for everything is so small -especially the inventory. The colors of the redesigned merge items and board really do blend together, it isn’t as clear as the previous one. While they graphically look good, having to scroll through the customers is so inconvenient and they tracks up more visual space than the items they want and the reward for them. I also don’t understand why the items we collect along a level like the energy boxes has been moved to the top. It takes up real estate the customers could spread into more so we don’t have to scroll through them, especially when there is so much empty space at the bottom where it previously was located. The UX designer really missed the Mark with this update. I understand wanting to keep your all fresh and moving forward but I do hope you’ll take the comments of former lovers of MergeStudio into consideration for the next update - especially the size of everything!

Idk why all these app ads are advertising a completely different game it’s like you pick you client and you do this stuff and you will learn makeup and NOPE it’s another fricken merge game and then you just click the option and it does it without even showing you. The reviews are fake too. “This game isn’t like any other game” there’s a billion. Project makeover was first and is the identical game. If you want a makeover game don’t play this. If you want the 1,000,000th version of candy crush you’re in luck. -10 stars if I could. You should be ashamed game developer. Maybe actually make the game you are advertising

I wanted to like it, but I just don’t get it. You click on items that produce similar items. When you match those items you get stuff I guess. When you sell enough of your items, you give characters makeovers. I had two necklaces that had crowns on them. I couldn’t merge them together. Apparently, I had “maxed them out”? I was able to put them in a little wardrobe at the bottom of the screen, but for what? Eventually, it just became a game of clicking and matching until I got to pick out a shirt or shoes for a character. Click the gym bag, match some dumbbells. How many times can you do that? I had no idea what I was doing. It would be helpful if developers would provide better instructions. I only downloaded the game to earn money on inbox. I had to clear 16 levels in a day to earn money. Since I couldn’t figure out how to clear levels, I gave up. I’m deleting it. Give some instructions, for Pete’s sake!

Please undo the new update. It is so bad and I hate it. Why are all the objects that are being requested by customers so high up to get and you have to get a couple of hard o hefts to complete one order. Why does the axe split toon only give you two items now? There’s no use of it anymore since it just splits it back to what it already was. I like the sewing machine only need 2 types of materials to fill it but otherwise this update needs to be undone. I have been working on the same order for the past few days and it makes the game not enjoyable. Also why do the bubble for objects just come up all the time and now only when I need one more to complete the order?? Why did you get rid of coin pots? It’s so much harder to earn coins to unlock characters. Speaking of, why are there never anymore characters for me to unlock and fix up? That’s the whole point of the game and I keep waiting. Please undo the newest update. Before this update I loved the game but now I don’t enjoy it as much at all.

I have played this game and was not impressed. I have found much better games very similar to this one. Luckily the ads I seen before downloading were NOT the ads I constantly see now.
You are rated for 4+. Your ads are horrible! I don’t understand why developers believe it makes their games appealing to depict domestic violence in their ads? I also don’t understand why this would make people download your game after seeing your advertisements. Society 🙄.
You want parents to allow children to play but show ads of a mother being slapped to the floor by her mate in front of her child. As a society we need to do better. We victim shame enough. Now game developers are looping in domestic violence scenes left and right to market games that are supposed to be fun. I’m sure these ads are triggering for some victims ESPECIALLY children who have had to witness things no child should ever have to experience. If it has nothing to do with your game or actual gameplay why would you even take the time and expense to create anything like this? I’m sure as long as people keep downloading your game you will continue to market this way. This says a lot about the mentality and lack of integrity of game developers. Do better. Be better.

I don’t usually right reviews but I had to for this one. The game is pretty boring and you don’t even get to do the hair and makeup like it says you can in ads. And the candy crush like is not that fun. It is like a down graded version of candy crush.(no hate to candy crush lovers.) in my opinion I would not recommend this game.

So the game is fun, but after a while you need to merge shoes which come in a gift box. But after you do a certain amount the box disappears, so now I’m stuck and can’t move forward because they want me to do all these shoes and i can’t merge them

I have played this game for years. I used to play multiple times a day. When the updates first started rolling in I was confused, but okay with it. But now with the most recent update? The game is unplayable. I have been stuck on the same items for DAYS! The axe now splits things into 2 instead of 3, so there’s no point in using that anymore. The bubbles are CONSTANT and annoying. The rewards are not worth it.

I don’t know if you guys hired new developers, but if so, please give the old ones a call. I will be looking for other merge games to start investing time and money into, because this game is awful now. With every update it gets worse and worse. The graphics are so bad, the colors have gotten so bright but tacky, the redesign of the coffee is absurd.

I thought this game would allow me to choose to customize beauty care for the avatar. You have to do a game where you win prizes and then you have to follow printed task such as shampooing, eyebrow waxing etc. :( very disappointed bc I’ve been on the search for this beauty game for a while

There is nothing more irritating than playing a game that tries hand hold you through it’s tutorial. But never have I encountered one nearly as irritating as this one. It even forces you to merge things you don’t want to, and break merges, and take actions you may not want to take. It would be one thing if it allowed you to opt out of the tutorial, or if it was a brief tutorial. But it lasts far too long and doesn’t seem to end.

As such, instead of being a fun little relaxing game, it actually made me more stressed. I ended up deleting it before I was even done with the tutorial.

If you’re looking for a relaxing game, maybe this is a good one for you. If you can get through the extended, painful, forced tutorial, that is.

To enjoy playing this game you need to watch ads. I watch so many ads I should just be exempt from pop up ads at this point. The ads are extremely low quality and the games they advertise are even worse quality. I hate having ads that say I can play them or lets me click it once and takes me to MergeStudio Store immediately after. None of the ads are intriguing because they’re so bad. Also when merging things it gives you everything you don’t need but then when I actually need the things it gave me before it all of a sudden won’t give it to me. This is just another tactic to get you to watch more ads for more energy which is so annoying. Most of the gameplay is watching ads and it’s frusterating. It shouldn’t take me thirty miniutes to merge something. Please stop being money hungry greedy pigs with these ads. I play games to relax, not watch some idiot play a game that obviously isn’t as hard as it looks.

This is the first time that I write a review for an app, and it’s because I really liked this game (to the point of making regular purchases), but since it has been such a let down in the past few months I deleted this game from my phone.
I honestly found this game to be very entertaining and worth the time to play, but it has been left unattended for long periods of time very often during this year. One of the main points of the game it’s to give characters a whole makeover, and in the last few months there’s been weeks where there were no characters to help. Leaving the players to collect a ridiculous amount of coins for nothing. On the most recent update, it was only given 2 characters to help, and that’s it for however long they want. They also took away the only way of collecting diamonds while playing, to instead collect coins that aren’t necessary (since there’s no characters to give a makeover) making players to spend more money to get diamonds and be able play.
Whoever is in charge of this game seems to be taking long breaks of doing nothing, and then coming back with TERRIBLE updates to make up for their loss of money during their lazy time. Currently searching for a better game out of the merge company.

I didn’t know the game was going to be like a candy crush and I was looking to face makeovers.

The past few months have been slow. The object of the game is these makeovers and the last few months have been a major letdown because there are no new characters to make over! I used to be able to spend so much time on this game but this recent upgrade makes that so difficult. It takes FOREVER to complete each other so I can’t earn points to move on. And the items that I need just never show up! The makers ruined it. I’d rather have the lower quality graphics than these great graphics but no gameplay. At this rate, I’ll delete the game and look for some other game to play when I’m free.

To start off with the game is pretty fun but it is NOTHING like the adds I see and I personally think it’s a really big scam if u like to play games like “Candy Crush” this is the game for you I do not like it and I am deleting it.

The ad and the game are totally different. False advertising!

Listen, if you are here from the adds expect nothing you’ve seen. It’s a puzzle/candy crush game. Mind you it is quite addictive. As you move further through the game it gets “harder” hence they want you to spend money to make your game seamless. The ads are always popping up and very annoying. Once you choose to fix up the character like you’ve seen in the ads, it’s not the same. You have 3 selections to choose from when you do have a choice. Just know this is not the game we asked for but it’s still playable.

I have been playing this game for several years now and I definitely enjoy it. I even purchase items to keep playing. However, more recently, I have been super disappointed that the game took the ability to earn diamonds without purchasing them. Instead of earning diamonds when merging items, you earn coins. There aren’t new characters to even use the coins. Game makers, please switch that feature back!!

But if you like merge games it’s cool

I like the merging part the best. I like rearranging the pieces and building up to the end result. The design studio is very limited with choices. Sometimes I wouldn’t use any of the choices if there was an option. I don’t mind watching an advertisement to continue playing but they are way too frequent. Also, some of the ads make me cringe. I don’t want to be forced to watch a game where pimple are popped or worms are pulled from a body. I don’t want to be forced to watch soft porn advertising a game. If you must have those, couldn’t I be able to escape the ad and continue merging my items?

Been playing this for awhile now and have invested money for some of the goals. I’ve reached to the current character max level where it’s telling me coming soon. Been about three weeks and no new characters. I’ve written Paxie and they replied with an unfortunately we are currently working on the game updates. I had asked for a refund or bonus, which they did gift me. I haven’t found another game I’ve liked like this one. I hope it gets situated quickly. They did recently make face changes to the set up which I was having trouble with, but I’ve gotten used to it. Overall great game.

I love MergeStudio for the simple fact that the games are fun, challenging, and relaxing. One reason I have to give it 3 stars is because I have completed the challenges for the full payout out on 2 different games already weeks ago and they show completed but have yet to get paid into my bank account. I have submitted 2 or three different tickets and have not got a response from anyone. Don’t get me wrong, I have cashed out on reaching $25 at least once on the daily spin and watching the ads so that’s a plus. Another reason for the 3 star review is because I believe it is ridiculously crazy that we only get one cent for watching ads. Creator, you could do better than that. I would love to be able to go back and change my rating to a 5 star review but first I need to see the money that is said to be made by playing these games. And if I have done something wrong to which is the reason I have not been paid, then a response would be good at this point. So if you in it for the money, I would think twice before downloading.

I like playing this game. But I’m more into the merging game than fixing up the characters , still when my energy is down, I like something to do which is making the characters over . Unfortunately I have done ALL the characters . And have to wait for the developer to add more characters . Which seems like once a month or two months. Is there anyway that this can be a main priority of the game and have more characters ?

I’ve played other types of merge games and this is one is fun but definitely frustrating. Other games I’ve played, when the spawning items (I.e the gym bag, the makeup bag,etc) level up they offer higher leveled spawned pieces (higher merged items). This one offers the same unmerged pieces (give or take a couple of merges) which makes it nearly impossible to merge the pieces as much as you need to before running out of energy. Plus it just makes the board a complete mess with no room to spawn much more. I don’t know if this review makes sense but hopefully will to the people who have played this game. Makes me less inclined to play this game over other games I have on my phone.

I have been playing this game for at least a month now, it’s ok I do like the mini games like mikes studio that allow you to collect prizes for completing tasks. However it’s frustrating that the sports bag & others don’t give you access to the other pieces you need. For the past 2weeks I have been trying to get shakers as most of the tasks require the smart watch & headphones but haven’t received any shakers it is impossible to complete tasks when you can’t get the pieces needed to merge in the first place. I’m honestly over it this is a constant thing with the game putting impossible to complete tasks up. This game is supposed to be fun & to help pass time but with it being so hard to get the pieces you need it is not really fun or worth playing. I should’ve already had the shakers but literally not 1 shaker in 2 weeks is insane. I don’t need the game to be easy but it could definitely be designed better as it shouldn’t take this long for 1 piece when I need way more than 1 piece in the first place

I been playing this game for a WHILE now and I have always loved it! It’s fun, it’s mindless, it’s engaging. But the new update is terrible. The board being blue makes it hard to see the items. The items look smaller too, not sure if that’s from the blue or if they’re actually smaller. The people at the top make it seem like there’s too much going on on the screen. The update makes it lose at least one star, in my opinion. I’ll keep playing to give the update a chance, but I don’t love it.

I wouldn’t have found this game except for one of those get-paid-to-play apps, and I’m glad because I was playing a more popular merge game before, but this is better. I like how the items are color coordinated. Also it’s cute how the customers get excited when their items are ready, and it’s fun to give these people makeovers. And most of all, I mean I just started playing today, but it seems like I can play a lot longer because energy and things are much more plentiful and easy to acquire. I’ll be spending a lot of time with this one 👍🏻

I really like this game. It’s casual but also relaxing and entertaining. I haven’t run into any bugs either. I did take off one star though because the ads on this game are very intrusive and extremely frequent. I seem to be getting a forced ad every 30 seconds to a minute. As a gamer I will click to watch ads willingly if given a choice and there is incentive in it for me. I do not like when games force ads upon me against my will and continuously do it to try to manipulate me into buying no ads. I think that’s not kind to the players that are giving their time to a game. I wish the ones in charge of this game would stop trying to manipulate the players into spending money just to get an experience they should already be given (a choice to watch an ad or not, not forced). I wish the ones in charge of the game would come up with a more creative and fair way to get players to want to spend money and/or watch ads instead of forcing the players to watch ads way too often if the players don’t spend money. I’ve found that games that want me to spend actual money to stop intrusive ads, it wasn’t worth it to stop the ads and I ended up quitting the game. The game developers can do better than this. Other than that, I like this game.

The puzzle type game is different than other games I’ve played

I originally downloaded the game from the ad and was expecting it to be a makeover game where you can do all of the stuff yourself (which it clearly states you can in the ad) it is not like that at all. The game does it all for you. I was disappointed at first but quickly became absolutely addicted to the little candy crush like merge puzzle. So it’s super fun for people who enjoy merge games, but it was not at all like the advertisements which I take issue with.

Side note: there’s so many ads 😭

The game is very fun, I like the story lines. Agree with everyone who has said that even when they have everything they need to continue the makeover they keep on merging. My only complaint is that the cost of the makeovers increases wildly—it takes so much coin to do even one task. Why is it over 1000 coins to apply lipstick? It makes all the effort put in to merge those higher level products seem wasted. It takes a long time to get some of the stuff needed to fulfill orders and then you’re still not able to do a task for the makeover. I think the cost of the makeover tasks should be reevaluated, I can see this getting discouraging after awhile.

Hi! So this is why I give it a 4 star. (1. I don’t know if it’s just my phone or something but I would merge my stuff then I would press tap on the thing above and it wouldn’t work when I clearly had the object.) (2. Doesn’t look anything like the adds I was showed, and was glitchy.) (3.was very laggy.) But overall, this game is good! I like how it’s easy to collect diamonds, unlike other games. But I recommend changing the age limit to at least 9+ bc I don’t think a 4 year old will understand this! (Thanks for reading!)✌🏻

I usually don’t write reviews.. but this one I had to. First let me say I absolutely love this game, but I have to admit the advertisements are a bit misleading… like you all are kinda pushing it lol you forgot to mention that this is more so kind of a
✌🏽“candy crush”✌🏽If that makes sense. It’s kind of like a puzzle so when I first attempted to play I was turned off because I typically don’t like those kinds of games they simply just don’t interest me.. but I gave it a try an as I kept playing lol omg y’all I was hooked like I couldn’t put my phone down. It’s really easy an I just forgot all about the make over I Was trying to get all the coins an gems then I could go back an spend it all on the make over 😅 (that was a cheat guys take notes) nevertheless I love the game but… I have this 4 stars because …. The ads are sooo annoying omg but I’m so hooked I watch them anyway go get my lil 25% energy just to keep playing … listen y’all need to do something about this I’ll pay atp 🤷🏽‍♀️🤭

It’s pretty standard for a merge game. There’s nothing super unique about it, but also nothing really bad about it either.

Some things I like about it:
It’s good for killing some time. Collecting gems is pretty easy, so you can always buy energy and keep playing if you run out. I like that you can go back and change parts of the makeover, that way you are content with the end result. I also like how visible the person’s change in demeanor is. It’s gradual enough but still easy to see.

Some areas of improvement:
The graphics aren’t awesome, but it’s not so bad that the gameplay isn’t fun. The price increase for items is really steep. Originally, a new shirt would cost maybe 300 coins, but quickly ends up costing 750, which is a little frustrating. It can also get a little laggy, but it isn’t usually all that bad and can be fixed by exiting and reentering MergeStudio . Maybe some updates will help with the smoothness of the game.

General notes:
There isn’t much dialogue, so that depends on what you like. Random ads pop up but it’s not that bad. You will run out of energy quicker as you progress, because the higher level merges require more energy. Collecting enough coins usually doesn’t take too long so you can still progress at a decent pace.

Overall it’s a fun game. If you like merge games, you’ll probably enjoy this one.

I don’t even play phone games, but I saw an add for this somewhere so I clicked it. I will say, it’s nothing like what it was advertised as. The add made it seem like you do plastic surgery on people and get graded…. This is more like candy crush. You match items to get more coins to pay for a makeover… which you have very little control over….. but it’s still fun.

I like the game I play it everyday, whenever I have some free time, only cons I have are the hairstyles, we should be able to pick the hairstyles, sometimes my client gets a“hair cut “ And I don’t like it, maybe being able to change the colors for clothing articles too? Theres times I like a style of something, but it’s in the wrong color so it doesn’t match my clients outfit which is devastating. Other than that the games addicting and I like it🤷‍♀️

I just started playing this game and I love it already. Some people may think that the part where you have to collect money by playing the game is really boring, but in my opinion I think it is the best game ever and it is fun putting all the things together like the lipstick. You have to put them together to get more expensive lipstick like upgrading it. It is super satisfying fixing people’s faces and hair and stuff! Keep up the work! 💜🤍

Like the other reviewers I downloaded it from an ad but was a little disappointed it wasn’t what it advertised but quickly became addicted. My only problem is that I’ve run out of “characters” to makeover, so half the game is kinda pointless. It’s still a fun candy crush type game but now there’s nothing to spend the coins on…. I just got this game, I saw on my reels it looked very fascinating to the eye, even though I’m blind. I’m clearly blinderr because I never saw Thais foming!!! SORRY if I’m typing too roghu (oops) but I’m clearly very not in a tooed mood😒. This game rouined my life as a whole. I think this game is actually really nice because it’s actually like Candyland. I love Candyland and this one person said I don’t know what it’s called but you’re still really rude and they said that this game was stupid because I don’t know some reason but this game is actually really fun and she said that you guys should know better but now you guys are the best this game is the best game I’ve ever played my entire life and if I could stay alive forever, I would play this game. I will not get any other game but this game that’s how good it is.😉

MergeStudio is so fun and colorful. The blowups are fun and have good stories. I really like doing the merge because it vivisection you so many prizes and it is so fun to me. I would defiantly recommend MergeStudio to anyone. Though I with there were more drama in the stories like the add, you can’t have it all can you? Great game overall you should defiantly check it out.

This game is great it has smooth animations and great graphics and also there is barely any ads at all but there is some I highly recommended this game for boredom or just for fun thank you and have a blessed day to whoever listens to this or who made it

The best thing about this game is that you can add up the makeup and make new ones and you can make a person look pretty it’s so fun I don’t even wanna play all my other games you know what I’m gonna delete all my other games and I’m just gonna only have this one because this is the funnest game on earth so if you’re saying those other games are so fun you should delete them because try this game and you will love it. It will change your life, it’s so fun I don’t even know what to say because it’s so fun do you know what this game is?
