Look, I've played my fair share of match-3 games, but DIY Projects has quickly become my favorite. It’s surely not ideal, there are issues with productivity, but after all it’s fun! The levels are not too frustrating, and the design aspect is so much fun. I love being able to create my own interiors and exteriors, and the graphics are really beautiful. The DIY mini games are also a great addition and make the game even more enjoyable. The game can be a bit repetitive at times, but it's still a good game. I played Gardenscapes for 5 years and it gradually was getting more and more boring. Yet DIY Projects offers a fresh experience. Overall, I recommend giving this game a try if you're a fan of the match-3 genre.

I downloaded this game after seeing an ad but I’m deleting it after what happened. The game itself is pretty fun and I like how you can pick the designs.

They had a contest where you could win a “real $1000”. I’m currently out of work and I could really use that money. I played for like 12 hours straight. I was about 200 points higher than anyone else I was competing against. Within a matter of MINUTES, the AI bot shot up to be higher in the competition than me. It is literally impossible to score that many points without manipulating the game. This really bothers me because they lied and said they would pay somebody money and then they manipulate the game so no one will actually win it. Meanwhile, they are boosting their game play up in DIYProjects Store due to me playing so much to win that prize. I could have spent that time doing literally anything else. I feel played and manipulated and I will be deleting the game after this because clearly the developers of this game have no integrity and only care about themselves and their profits.

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I had to share my love for DIY Projects! As someone who's been burned out on mobile games lately, this one was a welcome surprise. The match-3 game is challenging, but not so hard that it's frustrating. And the design aspect is what really sets it apart. I love being able to create my own interiors and exteriors, and the graphics are so beautiful and stylish. But the real highlight for me is the DIY mini games. They're so creative and fun, and I've even learned a few new crafting skills! I used to play games like Homescapes and Gardenscapes, but I got tired of the same old thing. DIY Projects is a fresh take on the genre and one that I'll be playing for a long time.

After reading many reviews that kids are enjoying it, I, as a loving mother, decided to give it a try with my children. Now I can't take my phone away from them, we all have a good laugh, and somehow they managed to reach level 12 and even create their own artwork – thankfully, within the game and not on the walls at home🙃. 5 stars to the game. Moms, play it with the sound on!!👍

This is a super fun game, but I’m stuck with no more levels past 781. It just says I’ve qualified for the Grand League, but doesn’t let me play any further. So I’m just stuck not able to play at all. Not sure if I’ve reached the end of the game or if it’s a bug, but I miss playing! I wish I could play previous levels or something. I reached out to the developer weeks ago but never heard back.

7/6 Update: Developer said I have to complete all areas to enter the Grand League. But that’s completely impossible because there’s not enough stars to complete the tasks because there’s no more levels! So the game continues to be useless. Very disappointing.

Not sure it was worth the download... Seems like egret other level is hard or super hard and given impossible tasks with such high numbers of things you have to wipe out but no real chance of defeating it unless you poor a bunch of money into the game, and even with the added boosts there's STILL little chance of defeating the level. You only get 5 lives and have a long waiting period to get even a single life back. Thinking about just deleting DIYProjects because I liked it at first but now that I'm higher up in the levels seems like it was purposefully made to be impassable on every other level... Really running the fun and relaxation part of playing the game.

I was hesitant to try another match-3 game, because I got tired of them being pretty similiar, but DIY Projects exceeded my expectations. M3 is challenging and the design aspect adds a unique twist. And I love the mini games! I would say, the best part of the game! However there are not so many different mini-games, at some point the game become repetative. I would be really happy, if the developerts would have done more of them, not another 100 m3 levels. Yet, it’s still a bit of a fresh air, comparing to the majoriry of m3 games I played lately.

It’s a good match-3 game! I’m not fond of design aspect, but match-3 is dynamic, animations are cool! I used to play Homescapes and Gardenscapes, and match-3 in these games is good, but DIY Projects surprisingly gives better experience! However, some levels are way more difficult! And I never pay in mobile games, so to pass them is very hard, sometimes too hard for me. So, to conclude, game is fun, but stop making these levels that difficult, that you can only get through them buying extra moves and boosters!

This is about average as far as match-3 games go. The fun part is decorating different spaces in between games. Unfortunately, that mode is extremely limited.

For example, you can create paintings using splotch marks and drizzles, and you can create flower bouquets using a few different colors of flowers and vases. Unfortunately that’s where the customization ends. You cannot choose the color of furniture items, you can’t even choose where to place the furniture items.

You can make sculptures out of rock and make pots out of clay, but you cannot choose how they look, the shapes are predetermined which completely defeats the purpose.

There is even a part where you get to name your boat, but even the boat name is selected for you. You don’t get to make up your own name, you don’t even get to choose from a list of names.

The game would be a lot more fun if we had more freedom and input when it comes to customization.

I've been playing it for the last couple of months and I love it. It is a good way to clear your head or dilly dally among your normal busy day. It is fun enough to keep you playing but not addictive so you can put a stop when you need to. It is hard to earn money though, and everything you need is kinda expensive/hard to earn. But in general I like the concept and the challenges

What a cool game this is! 😄 To those who think it's just a simple match 3 game, trust me, you've got to play more than just level 5 to truly feel the excitement. Tbh, I'm the same I've been getting tired and bored of puzzles after playing Candy Crush, but DIY Projects brings a fresh breeze of fun. The puzzles here are a blast! I love both puzzles and design side of the it. And yes, this game has become my evening meditation😀😀

I really adore the DIY Project game! It's super fun and cool. My top thing is painting and colouring furniture – I’m so excited every time to find out the next project. I even love the puzzles honestly hahaha although I was sooooo bored and tired of candy crash saga, no offend to them, but puzzles in diy project are so cool it’s not boring at all.

I'm curious, does the game ever end? 🤣 I hope it keeps going! And no ads….thats amazing!! Thank you, developers!

As a single mother of two girls, I don't have much free time, but when I do, I love to relax with a good match-3 game. This one is my new favorite!

The levels are challenging, but not impossible, and the mini-games are a fun break from the matching. Plus, the graphics are stunning.

Highly recommend for any busy mom looking for a little me-time. And please add more locations and superhard levels!

Holy cow, DIY Projects is a match-3 game on steroids! I was getting bored with Candy Crush Saga and Toonblast, but this game has me addicted. The DIY mini games are a great change of pace, and designing my own interiors and exteriors is a blast. It's not perfect - sometimes the levels can be frustratingly difficult, and there are quite a lot of mini bugs and freezes, but overall, it's a great game!

I love this game! Seriously this should be number one! The colourful design adds so much fun and I made my own art, vase, table, room etc. I'm not the best in painting and combining colours tho , but I will improve!! My brother was laughing at me first but now he plays diy projects as well 😂😂 We are competing who's designs are better🤪

I've tried many similar games, but nothing compares to this one. Unlike Candy Crush Saga, in which I've completed over 3000 levels by the way, the levels in this game are much more interesting, they have some kind of magic. Absolutely recommend!

DIY Projects is an awesome game!! It combines creativity and puzzles in a fantastic way. I thought it would be something like Candy Crush Saga or Toon blast but it’s so much better and more engaging. The graphics are stunning, making it even more enjoyable. I designed my dream house, now I want the real house from the DIY project_)) Love it!

There are a whole bunch of games out there in the market with the puzzle aspect to it one thing that this game does like every other game is they hid the fact it is another one of those puzzle games nothing original about it besides the concept of the game yes there are projects but there all the same painting sculpting and chiseling. I’ll play a different game thanks

The Diy projects game feels like it’s on another level compare to Homescape that I used to play. It’s super modern and really pleasant to the eye. The design and everything!! -1 star only because it’s hard sometimes to pass the puzzle and I have to try 5 times to pass it😩😀😀😀, anyways I still enjoy it!!!

The ad shows that you get to make a vase and use a lathe to make a small stool. I thought why not give it a try since it looked like fun. Problem is having to play a matching game to be able to do that, along with a very bizarre form of painting that I didn’t like whatsoever. Bottom line is that it’s not the game that it’s made out to be with the weirdest style and art I have ever seen that looks like a child painting, and it’s hideous.

When you show a game that looks like you’re going to make a face and make a stool or something, make it about making that stool or that vase. It’s that simple it’s not a difficult concept to grasp. And if that matching game is part of the game, then make sure that you advertise that part of it too. Otherwise, it is a form of false advertising called half advertising, and that’s not right. If you’re going to advertise a game, you make, then advertise all aspects of it. if not, you’re going to have a whole lot of upset people wanting to play your game and then quitting without going too far into it just like I have. Advertise properly, and you’ll get better than one star reviews.. Quite frankly, if it was an option, I would have given a zero star review.

I’ve played a lot of match three type games and this one is up there with the best. However, upon reaching about level 200 I have to constantly shut the game down and restart it every 2 levels. It just freezes up and won’t let me continue or press any buttons. I’ve tried everything I can think of. If this were fixed the rating would definitely go up.

Got the Grand League “invite” but I can’t play. Says need to complete all levels, but there are no levels to complete. Not sure what’s going on. Been playing just fine for 580 levels and today can’t don’t anything. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling…nothing. A little frustrating. AND I purchased one of the items and would like my money back since I can’t play the game! Really frustrating. I’ll be deleting DIYProjects. Can’t play it. Very upset with this.

It keeps crashing and won’t open back up. Today is 4/9/23. Hopefully it will be fixed with an update. I lost my free hour of playing 😭❤️

Having fun with this game but there some kind of glitch happening where it freezes and im unable to click anything after playing for a few minutes. I have to restart DIYProjects every time I want to play another level. Really frustrating especially when i spent money to have unlimited lives 🙄

The levels are too hard after 100 and way too hard after 200. You have you play them again and again to totally randomly get the right combos to be able to beat them. Many of the levels just feel impossible.

The actual DIY aspect is not that fun. I wish it were more interactive. All the paintings are super ugly with not very many options. Putting the furniture together is just tapping two or three screws into place. Sculpting something out of clay or stone is too simple and easy, impossible to mess up. There’s no challenge. And all the projects take tons of stars (and of course more as time goes on).

Could be fun but is mostly just another candy crush.

Yes, it’s a typical three match game, but the graphics take it to a different level of funny and levels are not always that easy. My husband and I enjoy challenging each other to see who can get the furthest on a daily basis..
Question, and hopefully it will get answered
When will there be an option to add friends to get more lives or to send lives to other people?
Is that even in the works or a possibility?

I got this game because it seemed unique. It is not. It is a standard match three game.

The unique, to me, was the bonus portion. Players are given projects to decorate different spaces. Initially? So much fun especially creating paintings! The last level I played..I “screwed” screws. So much fun /s.

The game itself seemed to be able to determine when a level had been played over and over and over AND made the level passable so I could move on. Awesome!!! Then, not surprisingly that goes away. Then, I was just stuck in levels needing bonuses—only by paying money could I hope to progress. So much money.

There are better art apps and better match three games. I am off to find them.

I like that’s there’s no ads and most ads you see are false advertising their game . The main reason why I’m keeping this game is because there’s no ads which is good so I don’t have to pay for it . I agree it did look more fun in the false advertisement which made me get it but it’s a trick to get you to get it . This game is great for having no ads. That is a big bonus for players who enjoy playing a game. No one likes a bunch of ads before or after each level or needing to purchase an option to remove ads in a game.

However, the levels are not given enough moves or bonus items to use to succeed in each level without the game’s self assistance. And sometimes only playing the level following along with the assisted hints is not enough for the level. You can use the coins you get from previous levels to get more moves, but you only get five extra moves for 900+ coins. The coins don’t last long when you are given only five additional turns to complete the level at a price that high.

The other problem I have with this game is the DIY projects are too heavily assisted. You can do very little work on the DIY projects and the game will finish the entire project for you. The premise of the game is “Do It Yourself” projects and the ability to “Do It Yourself” is greatly diminished by this assisted feature in the game.

Other than those two disappointing qualities, it’s a pretty good and somewhat addicting game.

I was interested in the game because the ads looked very fun. You can make clay pots and shave wood, but it’s more limited than the ad seemed to convey, since you can only do it after you’ve won a match game and it automatically finishes when you’re close to the shape. So far it’s quite fun, but I’m sure that like with every other match game I’ve played, I will make it to a level that I cannot pass.

I thought this was gonna be a relaxing diy game. I love the whittling and painting but the games you have to play to do that are not fun. They’re incredibly difficult. I just want to paint and wood carve and do sculptures. I wanted a low stress creative game and I’m so over having to play the matching game to do the creative part. Please get rid of that part or make it an option for those who like it. Otherwise I love the game without that part. Please make it an option. I beg you!

This game is a lot of fun & really addictive! Its a fun game if your waiting in a grocery line, doctors office or just at home relaxing. It’s a creative game and if your the creative/artsy type you will love making stuff in this game. Wonderful graphics and allowing users to make more items more frequently in the game might continue it to be more fun! Great game, team!!

I hoped to have found a game like Royal Match, and while the functions of the game are nearly identical, the game is created with far higher costs for extra lives and power-ups, and the power-ups are much less effective. I got my hopes up too high. It is just not as compelling as it’s near-twin, Royal Match. After enjoying Royal Match so much this version is frustrating. And the character… so incredibly annoying!

It’s really not bad. It has various things to offer to keep you busy for a bit. That’s not to say it doesn’t have some drawbacks, but overall it’s good. I’d like if I could finish the little crafty things, rather than having them suddenly finish when I’m only about 80% done. I’d like the opportunity to choose my designs in the rooms, because honestly, I dislike the design. Anyway, it’s cute but could be better.

The game does reward you BRIEFLY to make your artwork (which I’d hoped would get more challenging ). But it is just another Match the Same Colored boxes ast it’s core! They take much longer to do than the artwork they reward you with. It also has a heavy marketing and buying angle on it, but I didn’t stay long enough to know why money would need to be spent.

I loved this game at the start. It was better than any of the other matching games but now. I am at level 1089 and every level is ridiculously hard. I consider myself to be pretty decent at these games and lately it’s been nothing but frustration. I’ve been stuck on this level for four straight days and it’s just not fun. If I was stuck on another level, and finally got through it , I would breathe a sigh of relief only to find the next level or the one after that just as hard. Other games, give you a chance to watch an ad to get another life or to get some more moves, but you don’t even off of that, so I’m done. I’ve read your answers to other people that are making the same complaint and all you do is say that you’re constantly adjusting the game based on Feedback but apparently that is not the case because I am not the who is saying this. It’s too bad, I actually really enjoyed it.

Played hundreds of levels, even bought some power ups, but I noticed that once you get into some of the upper levels, they get far too difficult to beat without more purchases. It is begging you to spend money.

Oh SWEET! I got one hour of free play!! … then spent the entire hour repeatedly losing the same level over and over and over… then lost 5 more times with my lives. Now I have to wait hours to regenerate. Game is fun when you win. I won’t even play a paid game that that takes hours to beat one level.

The first rounds of this game were fun and satisfying, and the art projects were pretty cute—especially the paintings and pottery. But the games quickly turned hard and sometimes nearly impossible. I assume they are still practicing the game designs. And most of the “art” is just tapping your screen to nail or screw pieces together, which requires zero creativity. Many movements are still glitchy so even when you make what you think is a winning move, it misses entirely. Not as intuitive as Royal Match. I’ll be deleting this one. 👎🏼

It’s a very fun game, but the in App extra cost is outrageous for the value. In the higher levels, there is often no way to beat a level without shoveling money into the game just to proceed. I was stuck for 4-weeks trying to get out of level 925. There should be a background trigger where someone who obviously needs a life line can watch ads to get free coins verses us having to spend $5.99 here to get 5,000 coins that may not get us out of the level, especially for 5 extra moves @ 900, then if you are still stuck, you spend another 1,900 coins.

Well first off this game is super fun. The levels aren’t frustrating and creating the art is relaxing. I would have given it five stars if it wasn’t for when I run out of lives I can’t get any more. The game tells me I have to wait at least 20 or so minutes to get another life and then sends me a notification when 1 life is restored but when I go to play the game it says that I have 0 lives and I have to wait another 20 minutes. I thought it was a glitch so I deleted and redownloaded the game. When I ran out of lives I left the game for a few hours and when I returned I still had no lives. Could you please fix the life situation so I can play this game happily once again.

When I first started this game, I found it enjoyable and began playing it more consistently. I did not have any issues initially until I participated in my first competition for money. When I started the game, I played for a prolonged amount of time and was well ahead of the other players. Suddenly, in the 24 hours before the competition ended, a few “players” came from behind and surpassed me within a very short, unattainable amount of time. On the majority of levels, it is only possible to win one trophy at a time. On the super hard or hard levels, it is possible to earn multiple trophies, but these are very sporadic in the game. These supposed players would win 3 to 5 trophies every single time and within seconds. Even though I had purchased and utilized all boosters available, I still had no chance to beat them. Also suspiciously, whenever I started playing, no matter the time of day, they would start playing as well. They also seem to stop when I stopped. It is evident this company is employing false tactics to take advantage of its customers. It is disappointing and dishonest behavior the creators should be ashamed of. Do NOT waste your time or money on this game as I did.

Honestly, the games they give you to play to do the diy projects are not too bad. But one thing I can’t stand is that you can work your way up to where you have a lot of boosters and coins which help you defeat each level, but their numbers in how many coins you have to get those boosters and such or if you don’t want to start all over when you’re even just one block(square) away from beating that level is just insane and very discouraging. It’s made me want to delete it altogether. But I guess if you’re good at it, you may not think of it as a big deal. The DIY projects they have aren’t as I had hoped they’d be. They look like something a toddler would and could do. But overall, it just depends on each person individually.

This game is lots of fun BUT, I just started it so we will see…. A lot of these games start out awesome until you reach a high level then make it impossible for you to move on unless you $$$$ .. I am really hoping this one isn’t like that , and if it isn’t then kudos to the developers and It will def be a keeper for me . I will update when I reach a high level …

I bought the Christmas pass so I’m supposed to have 3 bonus lives (8 total) for 9 more days, until the end of the even and I only have 5. Honestly that was the only reason I spent money and now I feel like even more of an idiot thank I already did. Especially since the game had been buggy and a few times I have defeated the level to the point where is says “Complete” but then the level but it says I have no more moves and makes me replay it. It has also told me that I had 50% off a package but charged me full price. I know I’m an idiot for spending really money anyway, but DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

UPDATE: I adore this game, having completed over 800 levels and spent around $250. However, I despise the bugs that hinder my gameplay. Firstly, the game doesn't always load, and secondly, it crashes during match 3! Developers, please fix these issues; these bugs might turn me away from the game. I have a great device, and not many games cause problems, but for some reason, I frequently encounter bugs!💞 This game is way better than Candy Crush Saga, Homescapes, and Royal Match! I fell in love with this game from the first minute. Firstly, it's really fun to draw pictures and make pots with your own hands. You can create any design for your picture and it will be placed in the location, which is much more interesting than what I've seen in other games. The developers came up with this and I think it's really cool for developing creativity. You can make any picture, choose colors, and it will all be with your unique design, and most likely it won't have any analogs. I've never seen anything like this before. Secondly, I love the main character, he speaks so cool, like I'm playing with a real Italian, I find it very fun, I even speak these phrases with my kids. It's a lot of fun. And of course, there are realistic interiors, they are so interesting that every time I play, I wonder what the new mini-game will be. But there are also problems, the game has a lot of bugs. I play for about 20 minutes a day and encounter bugs every day!!!

The game has way too many glitches… It purposely puts the power up when you start a level in areas so you can’t make power ups… Eight out of 10 times when you use a power up it does not work appropriately… If for any reason you have to stop playing the game say for example you get a phone call and you go back to the game it will exit the game and start all over and make it look as if you failed the level and make you lose everything that you had worked so hard to get… I think they do this to try and make you purchase more and more items but I will say this, I will not purchase anything elseuntil they fix this and if this gets fixed, I will then change my review

This is my fave match three game simply because it’s never SO hard you HAVE to buy something to beat a level. Sometimes it takes a good week to beat one- but it never feels forced to make a purchase. When I’ve made one it’s because I genuinely want to keep playing or something like that.
Also- Very entertaining mini games with the merging puzzles. I wish it was there all the time.

Let me first start by saying that I have not been playing that long. So the game is somewhat easy right now. I am aware that as I play the game, and keep winning each level, the game will become more difficult. I do accept that. However, if it becomes like some other games I have played that become so difficult to win, I do lose interest and I will stop playing.
What I like most is playing the game to accomplish a decorative goal. They have found a way to allow me to use my artistic side. I don’t get excited by building a number goal. I like the craft of building art, and that’s what this game allows me to do.
So it’s a well balanced game that soothes many aspects of my senses from my everyday serious life.

The number of moves for each level does not match the hardness of the level, if you dont have the cube or dynamite stuff you wont win the level and sometimes even when you have those things you still dont complete the level…. This game is designed to make you spend your money, it does not have the balance between customer satisfaction and creators feedback …. If the levels were a but more realistic and fun you can still make money from offers or having a random very level every once in a while… but you just make the people angry enough to spend money out of a sense of challenge and then a week or two later the player comes to their senses and removes the game from their device,

What I am saying is win over your customers dont make them angry to spend a few bucks then just delete the game …

Gonna be honest, I usually grab then drop these kinds of games within the first 300 levels because there’s nothing new or fun after around that point, the new mechanics are stale, and there’s nothing to freshen the experience up outside of the matching game, not to mention the exorbitant amount the devs will expect you to spend to finish specific levels. Not only am I past level 700 and have only spent about $5 total on the game, all the money I spent was of my own accord because I didn’t want to lose a silly power up I would get again in 10 levels anyway 😂 but the game is fun!! I play the puzzles until it’s a bit stale, and by then I have enough stars to play the mini games like pottery making, painting, and furniture building. The only thing is that I wish there were more customization options in the furniture and more pottery/painting mini games because I find those very fun, but there’s at least 3-4 every stage, so that’s not too big of a gripe. I really like this game! The ads also are NOT intrusive at all, I don’t even think ads are a required part of the gaming experience? Because if they are, they’re infrequent enough that I don’t find them bothersome whatsoever. Really good game, if I could rate even higher I would

Feel in love with game - just as much the rest of you. I have put a little bit of money toward the game. My biggest issue is customer support - I have been on this level for a few days now (no big deal some levels are harder than others) however! The game that I have beat several times tells me I still have “items” to complete. Thinking to myself “maybe they haven’t dropped down” false. Spent 900 coins for an extra 30 levels and still not “items” (eggs) dropped down. THERE IS NOTHING THERE FOR ME TO FINISH THE GAME!!! Wasted time. I contacted customer support and haven’t heard back and it has been over 48 hours. All I have asked is for me to move to the next level and give me my 900 coins back. Smh ridiculous.

I’ve sent several messages through DIYProjects and have not had a response. I have sent two emails to your support team, nothing. I have attempted to contact your team via your website, also nothing. This has been going on for a few of weeks now, where I reach out every other day, and no one has acknowledged or responded.

WHERE IS YOUR CUSTOMER SUPPORT??

I have spent hundreds of dollars on DIYProjects, but am about ready to delete everything. I have screenshots documenting the glitch (if you need them) and have provided an explanation of the issue below. Please help!

Cannot advance to next level. I am at level 2723. The option to clear the final puzzle piece does not show.

I have lost the 24 hours of unlimited lives and 12 hours of unlimited power-ups, as well as my standing on leaderboards. I know that might not be recompensed, but it is very disengaging and frustrating. The lack of response from the support reps has made everything worse.
