Its very intuitive

RokuRemoteCast has false advertising. They charge $10 to actually be able to use. Otherwise they have a pop up asking for money keep you from using RokuRemoteCast every time you go to push a button. They should have just had the fee initially instead.

There is an ad that won’t go away about casting for a fee. You can click out of it for two seconds but it pops back up. It takes away from the simple and easy features your app has.

Downloaded, paid 10 bucks, hit a button to connect to my TV, it shows me a page to rate the quality of an image, then it takes me to a remote that will operate my TV controls but I still can’t mirror my phone to my TV which is what I want to do

Deceptive! Can’t do anything unless you pay the $10. Going to delete it. I won’t pay for something that’s deceptive and doesn’t tell you that you have to pay to use. SHAME ON YOU

I was told that RokuRemoteCast was for free but when I click the x button on the payment, it just brings it back up

Ad to buy their premium service pops up literally every 3 seconds and stops you from using the remote it’s a scam

Pop up with ad telling me to buy premium. Kept coming up every two seconds. Unusable trash

Paid the $10 and used it one time. The next day my tv wasn’t popping up to connect and I wasted $10.

Neat concept, except it didn’t work

RokuRemoteCast does not work with my tv and I was required to pay $9.99 for it. What a waste of time and money.

I just wanted to stream from my phone to the tv…. Paid $ and guess what I can’t do !!!! But hey I have a remote on my phone.

No way to use this for anything unless you give them $9.99. Ridiculous

Not able to cast, which is what I purchased RokuRemoteCast to do. A refund would be nice.

Does not allow you to cast anything other than what is already on the channel. Misleading.

Doesn’t work for casting, only as a remote. Not what I wanted at all.

I’m bummed with Roku. My physical remote randomly stopped working - green pairing light won’t blink with new batteries.
I purchased RokuRemoteCast as back up until I could try a reset or something on my physical remote (hasn’t happened need to look into a new one I guess) RokuRemoteCast worked great as my remote until the most recent update.
It no longer recognizes I have a Roku device for RokuRemoteCast to pair with, so even though my tv is on with my Roku homepage open I cannot stream or use channels because my app remote will not allow me to pair. When it worked it did everything normally besides the volume, which unfortunately none of my Roku products in the past have seemed to be able to control mute or volume.

Says it had a free version but all it is…you can download RokuRemoteCast for free. But to use it is a whole different issue. Gotta pay cuz every button you touch brings you to the same “you gotta try for 3 days or buy. But you gotta give that card number up so they can charge you the second time is up. Oh yeah. Not even worth it to use the remote. Roku has its own app for that. Man!!! I don’t get y’all at all. And I won’t get it either. Thanks for the waste of my time.

I hate when you think you’re about to get something great for free then before you’re even able to try it out they slap you with another subscription fee. So much for thinking we had another helpful free app. Lol guess nothing is free these days.

I’ve been trying to figure out how to use RokuRemoteCast. I don’t get the same screen as shown on either my iPhone or iPad. There is no way to mirror my videos, no instructions. Can’t find the developers website or contact info. How do I get my $9.99 back? I can’t seem to find any way to get a refund. Total RIP-OFF

I cannot believe I paid 10$ for this and you have the audacity to close the show that’s playing for a sub par SPAM ROKU AD pop up and ask me to rate it a thumbs up or down anytime I want to pause a show or adjust the volume. 0/10. Download the REAL roku app, don’t make my mistake!

I couldn’t hard use the remote at all. The ad to buy the subscription kept popping up every 2 seconds. Like no one is going to use your app if you keep on doing this. I hope they fix it.

It did not work with my Westinghouse Roku ready TV. Some features worked but most did not and it did not have the ability to use with my ear buds, which is why I bought it.

I can’t even connect to my tv without a pop up about buying something . The reviews says it was free so I got it to be lied to and get to use RokuRemoteCast nothing but a pop up about guy a life time thing I’m not buying that

1. It’s not free
2. Ads to purchase RokuRemoteCast after every screen touch
3. It crashes after opening if you do purchase
4. Overall app functionality is garbage!

RokuRemoteCast works but the add pops up without fail literally every 2 seconds. It’s extremely annoying.

RokuRemoteCast help a 97 year old find TV programs of his past that he can relate too

I’ve only used RokuRemoteCast for one day but not being able to turn the tv on with it seems a bit inconvenient

There’s literally an ad after every screen tap. You can’t even touch the volume bc there’s an ad immediately following touching the screen. DELETE!!!!!!

I can’t even use the remote because every 5 seconds the advertisement pop up and I can’t write a review because im giving it one star so im blindly typing on a white acreeen lol so petty

It’s bad enough that despite being advertised as free, I could find zero free features. My I was tired of trying to find a way to stream and paid the $12- the only option that was given to me as I didn’t see any free trial, even- and what I got was really choppy video quality. Huge waste of money.

Within 20 sec of opening RokuRemoteCast it made a purchase without my asking, failed to connect, and switched my screen colors.

It’s great for working any type of Roku device from Roku tv to Roku box so great job I really like it

Every time you press a button on the remote a app pops up for you to purchase into the remote control app that is used. At least let me press it two or three times before RokuRemoteCast pops up…

The first statement on the description says that it is a free app. When I opened it up, the first thing it wants is $12. I can’t figure out how to use it for anything without paying $12. There is no free trial even. no way I’m going to spend $12 that is nonrefundable, per their directions, without even knowing if it’s going to work. One Star, maybe

RokuRemoteCast is $12 and offers no trial. Free to download but must upgraded to premium to use therefor you don’t know ahead of time that it’s largely useless. Requesting a refund. Unable to cast anything from the inapp apps such as TikTok or Netflix. App will mirror but awkwardly so as you will need to manually enter your IP address every time. RokuRemoteCast is little more than the official roku remote app that I had already downloaded on my phone for free.

Volume doesn’t work and just wasted my money for nothing

I absolutely hate when you can’t try RokuRemoteCast without purchase pop ups. It works but every time I click something there goes the upgrade popup, I don’t know if I like RokuRemoteCast yet can I try it first. So annoying DELETE
