Keeping it short.

1. Trying to cut out a tiny piece from a 2 hour audio file. Putting the crop handlebars precisely where I need the cut. The exported file is 5-10 seconds off. Tried several times, same result. Made sure I zoom in before cropping to visually check the crop marks are where I want them.

Worst part is once I export, my previous work in progress closes, so I can't easily go back and readjust, I have to open the file again (if it's a large file, wait for it to open), then seek again. I tried one more time, but I won't keep trying.

2. The UI is not as good as it could be. E.g. I move the left seek bracket at the bottom and I expect the playback position to move accordingly - this way I can easily confirm I'm happy with my crop start. In AudioTrimmer I have to manually move the playback. There are some other minor inconveniences. Refer to the Overcast app on a good crop UI.

This was a promising app, but it doesn't work as expected. If the above is not fixed, I'll be requesting a refund.

Title explains itself. The whole point i bought this was to trim down a long (20+ Mins) audio but i get an error message that it cant open the mp3 file. It can open other shorter files just fine. Disappointed.

There are no instructions so before you make a decision try and figure out if it’s gonna work for you, but wait a minute, there’s no way to figure it out because there’s zero instructions.

I use Audacity on the Mac so I was curious how AudioTrimmer would compare. It literally only trims the beginning or ending of an audio file. No fade in, fade out, save as a ringtone, or any other editing features. Unless the developer adds some features to it, charging in the future is wrong. Even adding the features I’ve mentioned would not qualify charging for AudioTrimmer.

1. Where is the tutorial? It isn’t in AudioTrimmer . and the developer’s website does not have a users’ guide.

2. I cannot find a way to trim an audio recording that’s stored in any of my audio recording apps (including Apple’s native recording app).

3. AudioTrimmer seems to be incapable of adding any specific audio recording app (to allow export of a file into this app).

I understand that AudioTrimmer is less than 2mb but a help guide is, imo, essential and really well worth the few kb it would require. Sadly, I could have used AudioTrimmer…🫥

Can I trim audio from songs and use for ringtones?

AudioTrimmer itself is simple and easy; however, once you go to “trim”, the result is not the same as what you’ve selected- I’ve had to re-do the same file 5 times because it’s either too much silence at the beginning or the first few words are cut off. Super frustrating.

just bought this based on positive reviews and am editing an aac file but the waveform seems very inaccurate and compressed and doesn’t line up with what i’m hearing. also the trim and play functions are very frustrating and will jump around and reset in unexpected ways. it works and the interface seems familiar but not as intuitive as it should be

edit: actually it doesn’t work properly, it plays most of the file and then stops before the file ends abruptly so there is a time mismatch or something going on. would also be nice to have function to snap the trim to the current play line

Trim button is dimmed out, no instructions and not . I have a 2 hour mp3 I need to trim so how do I? I payed and not !!!working responsive

Simple way to trim audio.

Like the developer notes, I too was surprised that iOS doesn’t feature a native basic audio editor. This simple app fills the void nicely! Great job

Somehow, this 1.4 MB, virtually inconfigurable, single-use application manages to be one of the most powerful audio manipulation tools on iOS. Those who remember maintaining a GarageBand install *just because they occasionally needed to trim audio files* will celebrate. One of very few apps I’ve come across that I absolutely wouldn’t change at all but would pay much more for.

It would be awesome to finally have something of this caliber but for a multi track editor/recorder.

I believe you can be the one to help podcasters who want to go full ipad only.

It is easy to use and does the job well. No bells or whistles, just a simple audio track trimmer. Great for iPad.
