I downloaded Recap to help me save time with making reels being that I am a mom. Everything was running slowly up until two weeks ago! Everything I upload and edit it will go to a blank white screen via photo and video. I delete Recap , turn off my phone and then restore it to see if it’s working and nope does that same thing. I reached out via email and one response basically saying everything will be working within that same week that I contact Recap developer and week two NOTHING. I reach back out again and no response so at this point I cancel my subscription. Waste of my money now!

Would be a cool app if it actually worked, instead I’ve wasted 2 hours trying to see if it was just a simple glitch, but either way after I upload photos and videos Recap doesn’t create my video, waste of time, don’t download and Ave your time, great idea but app doesn’t actually work

Yo until the past week this was my favorite editing app period. But for the last week anytime i try to generate a video of there are major errors in the video. Idk what wrong with it but I want my favorite app back, and I’ll happily change this to 100 stars then

If you’re posting at least once a day, you would use all the templates that’s available within a week or so. I can’t cancel since I already paid for the year.

I want to love Recap and get my money’s worth. (Those free trial auto renewal got me.) I like the idea for the ease of creating reels. I think Recap would be more functional if they told you how many photos/videos included (why do I have to click on it to find out it’s only 5 videos when I need 8?), length of the reel, and allowing you to reorder the media selected.

My audio was deleted on my reel after I paid the subscription. I loved the reel I created but can’t use it because there is no audio in it anymore. Very disappointing and can’t believe I spent $30 on it!

I love Recap and it’s simplicity but if it’s simple at least have it work properly. My videos keep glitching and I can’t do anything in app bc it goes straight to video save after just picking the length. So I guess I just want a little more flexibility

I sadly dont get to write good reviews often but im glad the exception is here. I desperately needed Recap so I can dish out quality video for my club through the busy schedule I have and thanks to this im able to keep up. Only things I would ask for is;

1. Eventually a constant stream of updated templates which I know would be super hard but I hope Recap grows big enough to support that.
2. A major issue not being able to rearrange the order of your videos in a easier way. After choosing a template you select a bunch of videos and you cant memorize what is the time range each video is going to have so Im left with having to go back and select different videos for some of the sections that I see are going to be played longer or shorter based on the template.

So easy to use - worked perfectly to make the 2021 this app video I keep seeing on IG and TikTok

So far it’s a great app!! Love it and easy to use. Wish it has a folder though to save precious videos so we can go back to edit. But overall great

Decided to give this a shot and so happy I did. Incredibly easy to sync my photos or videos to make IG Reels. Definitely 5 stars!

Recap is amazing. It works so well and I use it for business so it’s valuable to save time and create top quality reels efficiently. Whoever developed Recap is genius.

What literally used to take me hours now takes minutes if not seconds! Just make sure all of your photos are edited, saved in the order you want to add them, and then you have a video in two minutes! Seriously THANK YOU! I’m an “old” whose business runs on Instagram and I just made a Reel that even made my social media manager proud!

Recap is great for lazy creators like myself it takes out all the hard work of figuring out the correct lengths for all the new trends that come out

It just took me 2 minutes to make a reel! I’ve been struggling because it takes sooo long when I try on my own. Recap could definitely have more templates, but it’s a huge lifesaver so far!

I’m really not good with the transitions and making videos. In fact, I hate it especially because it takes me so much time. I was able to do videos with transitions in 5 minutes. I’m going to be doing many more transition videos from now on.

This was a super easy app to make my 2023 this app with. Tons of high quality reel templates to choose from. Will keep using!
