The game is simply just as the titile says AMAZING the gameplay is so smooth and fun also being able to go through the amazing story form the beginning and working towards expanding it by doing side quest is so fun I highly recommend players give up everything to play this game on a daily.

It’s worse than your average gotcha game. It legitimately just plays itself, the only real agency you have is when to activate specials, but you just won’t run into a challenge where the auto activate mechanic doesn’t preform just as good if not better than you clicking the buttons. You could argue that putting together a solid team takes strategy, but the game will do that for you too. And it’s not like you have to adapt your play habits or change skill rotations to match the new lineup. Basically there is no substance to the game other than the pretty models and another soulless progression treadmill. If you actually care about the story just read tower of god or watch the anime, they are both very good and worth your time, this is not

Minus a star for having servers. Minus for spend days rerolling with super low rates for ssr+ characters and rerolling takes about 7 minutes and you get one srr+ ever few hours if lucky. Plus a star for being dubbed. Minus a star for netmarble same tactics. Minus a star for boring game play. Play if your a fan of the anime as this is probably the best tower of god game so far.

I would recommend waiting for black clover mobile to release global. They just added 5 new modes the other day and they look great and probably be a better game and a lot of pre-registration rewards. Also probably be dubbed. Oct31 is it release date as they add more end game and polish to game. So play this game until then.

If you’re a fan of the show or webtoon it’s cool, and pretty soulless, the game does everything for you, but it’s pretty. Also if you get to chapter 3 and don’t have a team you like, maybe restart, the gems in the game start getting more scarce at the start of stage 3.

As a massive fan of the source material, this game is fun even without knowing it! Highly recommend!

10 pull pity for ssr is rough when unlucky since resources are so scarce. KR version getting free stuff when global is funding this game makes me sad. Treat your playerbase better, you have a really good game just need to be more generous…

This game is dope!!! What I like is not much controls and you can sit back and let it do it’s own think. You can also make your own moves as well but I prefer the option to have it auto. The cut scenes for each character are forking dope!!! The gameplay is awesome. I’m addicted to summoning though 😂. That’s a plus because you can summon using diamonds and you get tons just for completing daily missions. I usually just hop on after work and get lost 😂. Tons to do in this game. They got those passes you can get. Honestly idc if they have that I did decide to get it after about a few days playing. I just feel like it is a game I play daily so i don’t mind spending a few bucks. Do not feel like you need to pay to win because it’s not like that at all. You get plenty of diamonds for summoning and tickets. Just give it a shot.

Also if the team is reading this. We gonna see a MOBA anytime soon??!!!!

I have played a lot of games on this genre, and this game so far is the best. I know nothing about the source material, but the upgrade path is much more forgiving than other idle games. No need for fodder to rank up heroes. You get a dupe and there you go, you can upgrade. Also leveling up the slots that characters take up in your team rather than individual characters themselves makes it easy to use whoever you want without feeling like you are wasting resources on a lower tier character shrike you wait to get a better one. Voice acting and visuals are also top notch. Great game unlike many that just try to cash in on the ip being popular

Normally don’t write reviews unless it makes an impact on me, I love Tower of God as well as RPG games, I’ve tried ToG: Great Journey and it was too grindy and complicated, Hero Cantare is good as well (I recommend checking it out) The gameplay on New World is good, the pull rates are amazing and the dev team is extremely generous, there’s a lot to do throughout the day so you can hop on and off several times and still have things to do, the story line is really well done, though I wish there was more gameplay in the Story, I have no complaints as of yet, keep up the great work

Love this game, I’ve read half way through “Tower of God” and enjoyed its story telling and the journey of Bam. I’m enjoying that they kept the original story of tower of god and allow the player to experience the story through gameplay. Love that the summon system is not overly weighted towards bad summoning as I’m currently at 8 total SSR’s not including the SSR you get from the base games tutorial right off the bat. Leveling is easy thanks to the afk looting system as you can leave the game and come back to thousands and thousands of coins and resource's available for leveling, and equipment gains semi often.

Needs a big balance update. Once you get to floor 6 it’s a crawl. Like I can only clear 2 or 3 sub levels a day which is a joke. And since any actual microtransaction that would make a difference is the price of a AAA game, this is beyond annoying. I love these types of games. But unless I can progress faster as FTP I’ll just stop playing in a few days. It’s just not fun to log in to play for 3 minutes and then wait 24 hours to idle enough resources to try again.

It’s good. But where it lacks is the ability to grind for equipment or shards. Once you pass a level you cannot repeat. Think… summoners war with dungeons where you can go all day using stamina for items to improve your characters. No one has beat “summoners war” yet IMO…. So what happens is you get to a point you can no longer play. No repeating of levels = no more playing. I’m not ftp either… but still the game just halts. No option to grind to improve your teams. I don’t understand.

The prices are outrageous honestly like sometimes it’s $7-$10 that honestly aren’t that appealing but then it shoots up to $35-$79 and I’d love to support the game and have already but I’d like it to give more appealing prices and items in the future.

On another topic the game is great and nostalgic from reading the WEBTOON and I really love it so far, please keep up the great work!!

I like the game it reminds me of grand cross they should add a costume shop that you can spend gems on and I love the system of hands free grind they should add a skip mechanic for high bp on the sub battles that cost how ever many stamina other than that I like the game and the summon rates not bad but the costume shop would change the game for my simps

I very rarely write reviews, but I felt the need to comment on the state of this game. It feels like a bare-bones idle RPG which would be fine if there was one redeemable quality about this game. However, rates aren’t great, combat is almost entirely autoplay, character models are subpar, nothing feels rewarding, and the game is divided by servers, which means players who pay dominate that entire server. Just stay away from this game. I’ve played FGO, Epic 7, Genshin, NIKKE, Arknights, FE:Heroes, Neural Cloud, H:SR, and I can confidently say all of those games far surpass this hot garbage of a quick cash grab.

I never watched this anime before but the first I played it drew me in wanting for more I enjoy watching the story unfold I will be watching the anime because I’m actually intrigued. For an idle game it’s actually one of the better ones. definitely recommend

It gets 3stars because its fun for sure but rates are terrible & its obviously pay to progress. Its ridiculously hard to get good equipment or to level up your characters, especially once you reach around lvl 30-40. So don’t download if you’re looking for genuine fun & natural progression without having to pay. You’ll end up disappointed in the long run like me.

Got to 2 million in about 8 days it’s really fun to play after watching the anime but the in app purchases are either 4$ or 20+ so I wish their was more diversity there and better equipment drops. I also have 8,000,000 gold but zero orange pyramid for upgrading

Game is genuinely good. Its an idle game, so theres no rush in completing any of the content. If you do sleight research you could easily finish the game f2p. The rates are a bit much, but I’ve pulled everything I personally wanted. So some people are just unlucky

The leveling system where instead of leveling up character’s individually you level up the spots on a team is genius. Idk it just really rubs me the right way

level 63 here, while i’ve been enjoying playing, it just starts to hit a point where it slows down A LOT.. and it’s obvious that you need to spend money for the skill-ups. Really lame considering it’s fun and the graphics are amazing. Guess i should have figured considering it’s gacha. BTW i’m completely F2P.

The game is a amazing idler. If you know the story’s it’s a wonderful play through! And the addition of Rachel side story is a nice plus for original content! There are whales so don’t come into the game competitively and think you will be top of the ranks. But the f2p experience is great too and they are now adding a daily 5 pull to help the progress of f2p accounts!! They are also generous with tickets and seem to listen to the community! All in all definitely a five star game.

There’s a glitch in the newest update whenever I start the game it sits at a white screen and doesn’t progress any further than that. I’ve tried refreshing TowerofGod and also deleting and reinstalling and nothing works. Like I said I tried reinstalling it so I hope all of my progress is still there after deleting it. I love this game and I don’t want my experience to be ruined and progress gone because of a glitch

They’ve given f2p the chance to get every character for free on their release with good communication community. netmarble, don't screw up this goldmine of a game. I’ll be back in 2 years to see whats happened on the anniv day of data Edahn’s release.

Love the game but the summon drop rates are really bad. The only time I get anything good is after 10 or 20 drops from the ssr bonus. Please fix drop rates cuz in the last 15drops I’ve gotten one ssr character

This has to be my newest favorite game of all my mobile games I have ever played!!! Graphics are Enchanting, Story Mode and Adventure Mode are Great, Game Play and Strategy are Amazingly Fun and Engaging! P.S. Some Ideas for Future Updates:

1) We Need To Be Able To Barrow Friends Allies More Than Just 3 Times Per Week. Seems to be too little number of times to be able to help Friends.

2) Co-Op Adventure Live Play to help friends who may get stuck or don’t have a certain ally to help them progress through the floors. You would need to have enough friends online on the game at the same time and be able to set up and invite to a co—op adventure party where each friend would be allowed to pick 1 character to represent on the party leaders team and will have to manually use character special abilities during each battle.

3) Special Co-Op Live Dungeons where friends can form parties, Fight Special Bosses, and get special rewards for beating the Bosses. Definitely would make it more interactive with you and your friends to come up with strategies in Real-Time

The game is VERY generous with its summon tickets for summoning characters, so the revenue is recouped during events (skins, event packs etc).

This makes sense, but the thing that annoys me is that it isn’t immediately clear that you can’t realistically get every reward from the event as a free to play user. Inevitably, if you want every reward you have to buy paid packs from the store. Of course, I don’t mean skins; every event only one skin is free and the rest are paid. What I mean is the progress bar for rewards for the event CANNOT be filled unless you buy boosters. Frustrating to no end.

It’s saved by its ability to easily get characters with daily login summons x5 and login rewards. The Alliance function is ok as another way to get equipment and friends for friend summons but I really wish the alliance events get reworked to be more interesting.

Most replayable sections are definitely the Exploration tab seeing as it has the Arena (PvP,) the Trials (nice rewards, good for when there’s nothing else to do,) the Mock Battle Facility, and the Guardian’s Trial as well. Conquest is fine but I find it tedious so I just auto most of the time.

Story is good. Can’t wait til they add more. Rin does make it goofy and weird but that’s within what’s expected for a game that adapts a webtoon. Adventure mode is good as well, just wish they reminded you to do it more past daily quests maybe because I always forget about it.

The game is great especially the gacha system and how they give us as the spenders the choice of spending to get what we want vs getting currency and praying they give us what we need. Only complaint is events don’t let you have all the rewards without spending money. Like this bingo event. Only 100 free tickets but you need to clear the board 7 times to get the new ssr+ let us farm your events freely and allow us to get the rewards. If we want to spend the money we will don’t make us feel forced. Still 5 stars though.

This game really does bring the world of tower of god to life with detailed background story and this way you actually get close to the characters. Very easy to progress in the game and have fun. Absolutely no need to ever spend money but this game is so good and the fact that you can just about do everything without ever paying makes this game amazing and tbh makes me want to spend money on the game just to support it.

Netmarble always does us right when they put out a mobile game , this is free to play friendly. I think it’s great my only concern is the fact that TowerofGod keeps force closing in the middle of my arena battles or any important action I’m doing. I’ve been playing for a long time now everything but that runs so smooth. Just please somehow fix this so I can keep enjoying this wonderful game.

Fun while it lasted. At first the game is super generous with pulls and things progress very nicely. However, after about three or four weeks you will start to realize that the game doesn’t have enough content to support all that character growth. Their remedy to this issue? Make all your pulls garbage once you reach a certain point. This essentially halts all story progression + your ability to fairly complete in the side missions. You will grow bored with making such little progress and your frustration will ultimately lead to your decision to delete the game.

The rates say 4.8 at the time of this rating but this is about a 3 for me. As the one star ratings say, it’s just an idle rpg. You hardly have any real impact to where I was playing it just to see what the hype was about. Personally, I’ve never seen the webtoon so I can’t compare the two, however the game is easy to lose interest in since it doesn’t feel like it has real content. It feels mind numbing, tap things to occupy yourself. I uninstalled it after like 2 days of playing.

I love the Manhwa and naturally downloaded the game. After a month of play, I have no issues with the gameplay itself and it’s actually kind of addicting to play, but it always crashes after about 10 minutes of play and I have to restart TowerofGod . It’s very annoying to have to go through the intro sequence multiple times in one sitting. That’s my only complaint.

As specified in the title, I genuinely do enjoy this game. I could easily spend hours playing till I hit the idle wall every day—and there is quite a bit of playtime before the daily idle wall—the gacha system isn’t as horribly rigged as most other games with a lot of opportunities to use the system without p2w.

Unfortunately, the game crashes often. Unceasingly. I have had it crash loading the game itself, loading specific combats, loading the gacha system, loading character upgrades, changing gear, clicking on stores or events, and really anything that could possibly involve a transition has caused a crash in the game on my device. This morning alone it crashed 4 times in about 10 minutes. If the developers could fix those bugs I have no doubt that this game would continue to be an absolutely unhindered success!

Going to be honest, the gameplay is about what you would expect from this kind of idle/gacha/mobile game. The gameplay is simple and repetitive, the heroes are easy to get, and the graphics and sound are pretty good. The true strength of this game is the storytelling and the adaptation of the webcomic. TowerofGod truly understands the dynamics between characters and even expands upon them in the original events. Playing through the different stories from the WEBTOON was a pleasure, and seeing the new content was honestly a joy. Truly these developers understand the overall concept of tog and did a good job adapting it.

Genuinely would probably be one of my favorite idle games, but every update pretty much breaks the game. None of the events are that interesting, and every time they update the game with a new one, it pretty much just breaks TowerofGod entirely and you have to wait a few days to weeks for it to be fixed. I’ve even lost my account in the past from having to delete and re-download TowerofGod to try and fix the issue that way, and having to deal with customer service is awful since they just send automatic messages and then mark your case as solved even when it isn’t. It took me a week to get my account back even with it being connected to my apple account. Honestly as much as I like the game, it’s too much of a chore to play with all the constant bugs and glitches. Not really worth the headache, I can’t say I’d recommend it unless you’re super patient.

The game has been out for a while. The developers just refuse to fix the issue where the game just crashes constantly every 3 minutes or so, even though they acknowledged and are well aware of the problem. It’s frustrating and annoying to say the least when it often happens in the middle of long battles or summons. It’s 2024 folks! If you still can’t write a program that doesn’t crash every 3 minutes, perhaps you are just not qualified to be a developer. If wasn’t for the fact that I already spent some money on it, I’d have stopped playing long ago.

I’m giving the game a four out of five just because they make it so hard to level up your shinsu links and make it so hard to level exclusive weapons on characters they give you enough books for proficiency but no way to farm the up grade materials for it. and the only reason I’m making this review is because the devs boost the enemys in adventure mode wayyyy above the player unless you spend money. So in conclusion PLEASE DEVS IF YOU SEE THIS IM BEGGING YOU ADD A WAY TO FARM LINK EXP AND ENHANCEMENT EXTRACT.

Very F2P friendly (for the most part), but a bit redundant without a significant amount of depth. Getting to slowly build that grind/chore feeling that 7DS has if you are looking for any semblance of PvP tho. Overall the pve alone drives the game enough (IMO) to warrant the 4/5 stars. No gacha game will be void of grind/slog unfortunately unless you are okay with lagging significantly, which is a completely acceptable way to play if it is preferred or due to time constraint that can’t be rectified by money due to economic factors.

TLDR - can enjoy the game without investing money, but time investment keeps increasing as with all gacha games.

Very well compelled! Unlike other afk games this ones very generous! I honestly started playing two months ago and completed the entire story so far! Amazing grind mechanics and equipment builds to make your characters different from other online. Party customization is unique as well, with you having full access to how you want your units to perform. By modding stats and weapons, exclusive weapons, costumes and they just made a new patch with limit break upgrades! Amazing game and the graphics ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I LOVE THIS GAME!

I was a massive fan of Princess Connect Re:Dive and was sad to see them shut down the worldwide servers. Since the game was shut down, I have been looking for a game similar to it, and had been unsuccessful until I came across this gem. I can happily say, I put a lot of time, and zero of my real life money every day when I play this. I look forward to logging in every day to get my rewards, and every new event they bring us. I highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys anime and RPGs.

I have been playing this for almost a year and it has been a great free to play gatcha giving plenty of rewards through events and everything. BUT after the last few updates it has become extremely p2w as now if you want the rewards from the previously stated events you now have use a ton of resources to get less rewards than they once were and in the last update in order to upgrade your stats in one feature you are now required to use the paid resource to upgrade. This game would be 5 stars but after the last updates I had to heavily deduct as I’m close to quitting because I don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars or save for months just to get worse rewards than when the game first started.
