I absolutely love BibleRef but it doesn’t go past exit is chapter 3 after that it says coming soon. As I’m trying to explore and learn the word BibleRef has helped me understand what is going on so far however it is a little frustrating when I can’t reference other parts of the Bible because it has not been developed yet… I hope it comes soon or I will have to delete BibleRef and find another app that is complete….

Love BibleRef - when it works. For me, the primary use of BibleRef is the commentary so that I can better understand particular verses and context. I have found the commentary in BibleRef to be much more concise and easy to read than other sources. However, for weeks every time I lookup the commentary on something all I get is “coming soon”.

It could easily have been a 5-star rating. However, there’s no search function; a bit disappointed that it doesn’t have one. Hope to see this feature in the next update.

So incredibly bummed that I’m only in the second book of the Bible and there’s no more commentary. I’ve been enjoying BibleRef SO much as I can choose which version of the Bible I want AND read the commentary. There’s a good but of grammatical errors but I was willing to overlook that since it’s still a developing app. I’m just sooooo bummed that there isn’t more commentary which is what I was specially needing. It would be really nice to have a highlight option too!

Even apps that make you pay for their pro version at $5 a month, still do not compare to this free app! Some of my personal favorites is the ability to compare each verse with approx 6 other translations, available commentary on each verse (I haven’t personally tried every verse yet so just fyi), and ability to get context for each verse by touching the “context” option. You will not be disappointed with BibleRef! This is the first and only review I have ever done on any app in all the years of having an iPhone (dating back to the iPhone 3), so that should tell you how I feel about this Bible app compared to all the others I’ve had!!!!

Thanks so much for making BibleRef. It has already been so helpful to me. One thing I wish it had would be a verbal reader for r to he commentary. I would really appreciate you adding this. However BibleRef is already really good. Again thanks so much for making this wonderful app.

It's vital for Christians, new Christians, and anyone else reading the bible to understand the context and meanings of each passage. BibleRef provides just that.

Not sure why BibleRef only has 40ish reviews. The database is incredibly large and in-depth, providing multiple paragraphs of commentary and context for every single verse. The design is also very streamlined, making it easy and pleasing to use.

Wow!! I have used a lot of resources over my 38 years alive in Bible studying. BibleRef might be the best one yet! So easy to navigate and the commentary and context tabs are AMAZING. I’m so impressed. This must have been a lot of work to put together. I’m so thankful and im going to tell all my friends to download it!! Praise God for this amazing resource!!

I absolutely love BibleRef and greatly appreciate how it is completely free—no payments, subscriptions, or ads. The commentary is in plain English and has helped me break down the meanings of verses and understand a section in context of the bigger picture. Thank you for making such a great app that will help many believers learn more about God and His Word.

It’s great to find out meanings of verses and the gives you summaries, context, and commentary on the Bible chapter or verse and as it explains it lists in what parts of the Bible it says certain topics it all overall explains everything in depth i think it’s the best Bible study app to use ever and for it to be free is just wow super convienet app hopefully developers don’t delete it BibleRef helps me understand the Bible like never before great up keep up the great work and take care of BibleRef super underrated I don’t know why it has few reviews I pray and hope for the best for BibleRef and the developers thank you

I have been looking for an app that gives me good insite on each verse and I can say I finally found one. I am not a book reader so a lot of the time figurative things go right over my head and this apps commentary has helped me tremendously. Especially with revelations and understand it. 10 out of 10 recommend👍

Bible Ref has done so much to help bring me closer to Jesus Christ ! It’s ease of use and simple yet effective format allows me light speed access to most Bible verses I’m curious.

The chapter summaries are just wonderful and I especially like the fact that I can get correct interpretation of the Word. Whoever is contributing and writing the chapter and verse summaries definitely knows how to rightly divide the Scriptures.

I can not explain how much I have learned using BibleRef. I love the ability to understand not only the message but also the history as I am very much a context person. The context helps create a picture as to what is going on and how each book progresses.
I just love all the added context and details - from Greek definitions to cross-references.

The book of Revelation is so interesting.. but there’s no doubt it can be confusing and hard to understand. With this, I can read a chapter and head to the ‘’Commentary’ section to gain an understanding of those things. It’s a game-changer, for certain. I no longer have to keep Googling to figure out what things mean.

I do hope the commentary section is soon available for Daniel, as well (currently empty).

This is exactly what I was looking for in a Bible commentary app. It has some leanings based on writers doctrine but for the most part it does a great job at presenting common interpretations of scripture from multiple perspectives. It also includes cross references that to back up those interpretations.

All in all it’s a great resource to help better understand some of the scriptures that include first century references that can be difficult to understand today.

I am blown away by BibleRef and how it helps me breakdown God’s word and what he wants me to hear. I love how theres no forces opinions, just facts on what The LORD is teaching. I am, however at a standstill in the book of Moses. After 4 there is no more commentary and i cant wait for it to be finished! God bless the people of BibleRef who are making it easy to study the word and comprehend it. Praying that there is more version added, specifically “NKJV”. Thank you this app Team!

I don’t ever write reviews but BibleRef is what you need! It has all translations, a commentary, and a meaning, and I love every single one I’ve come across. Very lovely insights. And it’s even easier than the website! The way it is set up is so nice! I would like to thank whoever put in the work to make this all possible. You have made my study so fulfilling and I’m able to connect things out I haven’t before.

BibleRef has done a really good job with keeping the format simple. You choose the book and the chapter and then read. The best parts are the context and commentary sections. Just touch a verse and it brings up several translations of that verse for easy comparison. You can then click on an icon neat the bottom right and it will give you a page of really good commentary. There is another icon for context which is also really good. I have not noticed a single pop-up or anything like that. I highly recommend BibleRef! Great job developers!

I love BibleRef for the commentary! I love how it’s laid out and easy to use! I also love when Bible ref does do there commentary of the whole chapter and not just verse by verse like a lot of other apps do and if you do need to select a verse they give you that option to! I also love how it’s just easy to understand. Some apps get so technical and they loose me. For someone who is reading the Bible for the first time I appreciate how user friendly BibleRef is and how easy it is to understand. My only down fall is they haven’t completed BibleRef so not every chapter has a commentary option. I feel a little lost with out it because I can’t find another app/website like this one where it’s easy to understand. Hopefully they finish it soon!
