Previewmini is garbage, unable to do anything. Waste of money

Marian, Please Do not take it personal, I do not want to lower your App Ratting. If you think it is great so be it. It’s your baby but some babies are not good looking. There are other apps that do the same for free. I do not consider your app should get more than three stars. BUT That’s my opinion. The STAR Ratting system is BASE ON OPINIONS. I would give Previewmini a Five star if it was free BECAUSE the hard work that you spend to make it and may be I will look for other apps that you have develop to see if I can use or buy. I am re-evaluating my Ratting. (Old Comments ) What is so unique about your app??? This is a basic image editor, nothing great about it.

Fast video watched it 30 times can not see what they are doing to get it to do what they show in preview

I am trying to buy the full version and keep getting errors

Multiple times while editing photos Previewmini has shut out and sends my IPad to the Home Screen without saving the prior work that had been done. Very frustrating.

I purchased the full version hoping to be able to use this to print my patterns from my iPad. But there’s no option to print tiled.

This might be due to a lack of documentation, but I was looking for the ability to sort photos by name and present a slideshow as you can with Preview.

updated: I wrote the review below, and in less than a week the creator had fixed the bug and pushed out a new release. Amazing!

I had a couple other suggestions for user experience improvements, and I’m hopeful they’ll get incorporated.

I just installed Previewmini , and it seems to do exactly what I need, except for some weird problems, like I can’t type the letter “y” in this doc, and I don’t know, uh, why. Clearly it’s not a problem with my keyboard, so I suspect it might be something with a default shortcut that I don’t need-? So now I need to figure out how to turn that off, probably?

It is a neat App. Hopefully they’ll soon allow one to do to PDF what you can to images. Eg rotate pages of a document, cut, add text, etc

I am always using it! Great app. Recommend for sure.

I was looking for an app that is easy to use. So glad I found Previewmini!

I was surprised to find that once I allowed access to one or all of my photos in the Photos app, that all the other share options are available within Preview mini. So I can import copies of pdfs or photos from my PDF Expert files or GoodReader files, edit them and export the files back to those apps directly from Preview mini. Sharing to Messages and Mail are other export options as well as sharing to other devices by AirDrop.

I've been looking for an app for my iPhone that would mimic the preview app on the Mac. I finally found one!

Been wanting a version of Preview for my iPhone. I wanted it, initially, to edit pdfs sent to me, or created by me. I have to admit that it takes practice working on such a small screen and typing in numbers or copying and pasting items, but it’s not that difficult to do in actuality.

Overall, although I have not explored it fully, I give it 5 stars because I have accomplished a few tasks involving need to edit pdfs already without any significant issues.

II switched from my Macbook Pro laptop to an iPad Pro tablet and missed the Preview software I loved on my laptop … and found this iPad app that is quite similar to it, so I’m sure in due time I’ll get accustomed to it and am relieved something similar is available for my tablet! Thank you!

Great little utility! Easy to use. Works like a charm. Had a small glitch with ‘cut’ upon install. Awesome customer support response!! After reboot and reload, it works exactly as described. IAP is an awesome value, especially for iPad users. Now, it’s my “go to” tool. Can’t recommend enough.

I’m transitioning from my MacBook Pro to my iPad Pro and this has helped quite a bit. There are still things I haven’t figured out yet (I.e. changing the size of the font and getting rid of highlighting that I accidentally added) but I’m sure I’ll work it out. Thanks so much for developing this!

I like it because it’s sort of like an upgrade to Apple’s photo/pdf markup tools.

I think maybe it would be more convenient and faster if instead of importing the image by using the share, it would allow the users to quickly edit inside the extension window.

For reference, it would be similar to Retouch or Pixelmator’s share extension. Except Pixelmator doesn’t actually let its users to quickly cut out and drag and drop inside the extension.

I could definitely send an email to dev if dev finds this interesting enough to implement in a future release. Just let me know.

Preview is so great on the Mac and it has never been easy to do quick edit operations on iOS such as resize and dragging a selection to crop. This is lovely.

It’s a little less efficient than macOS Preview since you need to export a new image rather than just “close” the window to autosave.

I’m sure it’ll get better over time though. 🤗

This iOS app can remove passwords on PDFs just like the much loved MacOS Preview app.

A good value for money IOS app compared with other similar products.
