Heart Rate Monitor Reviews

So I just downloaded HeartRateMonitor to measure my heart rate. I was super excited because of this was the only heart rate monitor who would be free of charge. But after setting up my account and reading the instructions saying to put my finger on the camera and pressing start nothing happened I continued to try to figure it out but with no luck. I don’t know what is happening but if anyone knows how to fix it please help thank you!

After installing - which it does quickly - it just gives that circular “busy” signal after swiping through the intro pages.. maybe a bug has crept in. Tried installing twice.

I downloaded HeartRateMonitor because I only have 2 months left on my pacemaker. I’m very tired all of the time now. Having problems with insurance company approval on my surgery to get a new pacemaker. They want it to stop working before giving me a new one. I can’t live without a pacemaker because my heart doesn’t beat on its own. So before my heartbeat gets too low I want to get to a hospital. HeartRateMonitor totally failed me! Shame on you. I have an iPhone 11 so there should be no problems.

HeartRateMonitor does not work. After being on the treadmill at a 4.0 speed for 40 minutes it keeps indicating my HR is only in the high 50’s or low 60’s, which I know isn’t correct. It’s useless but I guess you get what you pay for. I’m deleting it and finding one that works.

I used HeartRateMonitor for less than a week. Today I took a measurement and HeartRateMonitor froze when I tried to save it. I rebooted HeartRateMonitor and it was still spinning away trying to save. I had to delete it which of course deleted my data. I’ll give it one more try but if it happens again I’m done.

Follow-up: i reinstalled HeartRateMonitor and it was still spinning as if trying to save. I rebooted my phone and still the same. Thanks but no thanks.

Check against my blood pressure device my normal heart rate at rest is 65 bpm. HeartRateMonitor measures 95 bpm. It does not have other capabilities. The best thing it has not in app purchase. I check other ones that are accurate but all require in app purchase.

This has been a great app. I downloaded and started using it late January almost daily when my physical activity was seeing a spike. I just wanted a gauge on my heart response. However, early March it just plain stopped working. I open HeartRateMonitor and it continuously has the loading circle of death for several minutes, and never does stop. I tried closing, restarting my phone, and even deleting and reinstalling unfortunately that just lost my data. Please look into this, I’m not ready to stop using HeartRateMonitor I absolutely love it.

I understand this won’t be as accurate as the real thing like at a doctors office or at a hospital. But when it’s reading 80 bpm and my heart rate is 115 bpm that’s way off. I understand an online phone app is not going to be accurate at all. But I wasn’t expecting such a huge difference in the numbers.

Within 10 beats per minute 90 percent of the time which is pretty good for an app. Tried other apps with wiid swings. Doesn’t read well when hr is above 100 but it’s a good quick indicator if your fate is fast where u then check manually. This is pretty good for an app to read heart rate I use it as an assessment when I feel palpitations or in episodes of light heaviness. HeartRateMonitor is pretty good

So I like it but my heart rate was at 190 and it didn’t like that and basically told me to see a doctor so I did and I have pots so now I need medication 😭

Since HeartRateMonitor is always in my phone, I remember to check my pulse very often. Mostly after exercise or when i feel anxious and nervous. I can thus workout more or relax as needed 💁

I think we all should be concerned about our heart health given the unhealthy lifestyle we all lead. HeartRateMonitor is a great motivator

Firstly, HeartRateMonitor’s measurement is quite precise! 👌 secondly, i can create multiple profiles so the records of each members are separated which is amazing. 👏 Thirdly i can even track history using visual graphs which is convenient 😌. Lastly, i think no other app has this feature which is sharing the results quite effortlessly! I can frequently keep my doctors updated.

I not only recommend HeartRateMonitor for its quick usefulness, but also because it’s free to use.

For someone suffering from frequent panic attacks and fluctuating heart rate, HeartRateMonitor works as a rescuer in those times when you need a instant updates. It helps me becomes alert and d breathing exercise to calm down and not let the pulse rate shoot any further

To test the accuracy of HeartRateMonitor I have compared it with an oximeter’s reading and I must say I’m quiet impressed. The oximeter showed my pulse rate as 75 and HeartRateMonitor showed 74. So you can tell it goes very close to the actual reading. Very handy in measuring pulse rate on the go.

I have been using HeartRateMonitor for a year now and did not face any bug issues or app crashes. Other apps charge a good amount whereas this one is free and gives a more accurate result than the paid ones!!! 😍😍😍Believe me and try it!! 😎

Life hax here ✌️. Use this post exercise. HeartRateMonitor is an addition to my everyday logs. I always check my pulse before and after exercise to know that i have worked out enough and reached that point. Yeah you can say I can simply use my apple watch but I don’t have it lol. I can assure you that it’s very accurate.
