I signed up for a free trial through Hooptober on Letterboxd and the website allowed me to put my credit card information in then promptly failed to load any other web pages. I downloaded the app which wouldn’t work either. At this point I just want to cancel my account. I logged into the app on a friend’s device and the app worked enough for me to get to my account settings but to delete my account it sent me back to the website which wouldn’t open on my friend’s device either. I’ll try again in a couple of days but I’m close to blocking payment through my credit card if they can’t manage to get their service or even the website to work.

When trying to watch certain things, you can’t. When pushing play, which with some movies, is impossible to do. The play butting is right where the writing is,as to who directed the movie, who’s in it, then you have it also going into the suggestion movies. It doesn’t happen to every movie, but it happened enough, to frustrate me enough to cancel my subscription.

I’ve tried numerous times to get a paid membership and it never goes through. The website is also of little help as I am accessing it via a mobile device and it only wants to open the app - which seems poorly designed at this point. It looks like they have decent movies/shows that I would love to watch… but they won’t take my money! Also, no app on Apple TV?
