No where does it say itโs a in-app purchase app. But as soon as you use, there it is $24.99 a month not a year or outright purchase. Not worth if only checking pulse. An oximeter is way cheaper. You get one free use by canceling the subscription page, after that any attempt to cancel and Start Measurement takes you back to Subscription page. Very deceptive

PulseChecker immediately displays a full screen ad on opening then directs you to a free 1 week trial with automatic renewal. there is an X to exit this screen but it is grayed out and does not work. after multiple clicks it displayed another full page ad that could not be closed. essentially there is no way to use PulseChecker without signing up for a trial subscription. deleted immediately.
