Login issues

When I try to log in ADFG always adds @myalaskaprod.local to the end of my login username, which off course makes it fail. I can’t get past the login, hence the one star, which actually should be zero stars. I’ll delete ADFG and try back in a month or two.

It’s a great idea and has the potential to be a great asset to sportsman in Alaska. However it was clearly rolled out too soon as you can’t even get past the log in page. With an IPhone

Glitchy and doesn’t open half the time. Using an IPhone 12 w/ latest update and fast wifi. Needs work imo.

Got ADFG and tried to download it to my I phone 13 and also my iPad. As soon as ADFG asks me how I’d like to log on, either option, takes me to the next blank page that simply says “loading”. Well I’ve waited for an hour this past time and nothing happens. I tried both devices, phone and iPad, with the same result.

I have an iPhone and could not log onto my google account. It kept freezing. ADFG has great capability and I LOVE to give info, but if it cant show my license and log in, (because the google login button disappears after a split second) it is no good. I want to electronically keep records, but I cant utilize because it wont let me.

So Far OK, Time Will Tell

Downloaded onto a current generation iPad Pro. Tablet is up to date with all apps and the OS. ADFG developer contacted me regarding my 1 star review. They resolved the issue with logging in both on ADFG and on the AK F&G website. Messing around with ADFG , the only immediate thing I see is I can't upload documents to it. By this, I mean my permanent hunting and fishing license. It shows me an option to buy one, and then I assume it will display a new license, but folks like me that due to age or disability have been issued permanent ones no longer have to buy them. How do we display these in ADFG ? I will revise my review as needed. So far, I'm glad the state is stepping into current times with this option.

Last year the SO and I were bemoaning the fact that it is so hard to try to figure out the fishing regs based on location, that he should develop an app and sell it to ADF&G. We talked about the features it should have and so on. Well, I just found out it now exists! My first challenge (after signing in twice) was that I have a permanent senior license and I couldn’t figure out how to upload it. So I poked around the “store” of tags and licenses and it is available for “sale” with a zero dollar cost. I entered my info and when the transaction was complete it reflected the original date I got my permanent ID card. Pretty slick! Especially since the physical card is pretty worn.
Looks like it has the right features- time will tell when we go to use it later this year.

So far ADFG is working awesome! No issues yet and makes the regulations super easy to navigate! Way better than the website.

ADFG is very useful. I like how I can easily access my license electronically. Easy access to the regs is great too. It would be awesome if Emergency Orders and other updates could be accessed via ADFG .

Well done!

This is an easy to use and very intuitive app. I’m in my 50s and didn’t grow up with smart phones and such. ADFG is easy to navigate and I appreciate the content.

I’m looking forward to the mapping function in fishing.

Initial impression is really good.
My info, licenses, location all populated easily using my existing MyAlaska ID (same as PFD).
The layout of ADFG makes sense, navigation is intuitive.
Finally we have an app! I’m interested to see how this works when out of service.
